Hinata’s POV

I lean back on the door, touching my lips and blushing. I can’t believe I did that. I smile, thinking what Temari-san must have thought. I can’t wait to see her again, today was great. It would be nice if we could get closer. I know the village doesn’t look down on relationships like this, but I wonder what Father would think. Maybe I’m not Hyuuga enough for it to matter. No, I’m not going to think like this. Things aren’t like they used to be. I am Hyuuga enough…..hopefully Temari-san’s and my relationship wont be a problem. I don’t care if the village wont accept us, I want to be with Temari-kun. Determined to make this work, I head to my room to change.


Temari’s POV

Did Hinata just kiss me? Maybe she feels the same as I do. Wait, how does she know how I feel? I didn’t think it was that obvious. Heh, I guess I was wrong. At least the hard part is down, she already knows how I feel. Walking back to the house, I run into my brother.
“Hey Kankuro, is Gaara meeting with the Hokage?” I asked.
“Umm….yeah.” Kankuro is looking at me weird now.
“What’s with the maniacal grin? Your kinda creepin’ me out.” I laugh, and smirk at him.
“Good. That’s what I’m here for.” I hear him snort as I walk to my room.

The hours came and went since my date with Hinata. Most of the village has turned in for the night. I can’t sleep, so I’m sitting on the roof of the building we’re staying at to watch the stars. Everything looks so beautiful swathed in moonlight. I lay back and sigh. I wonder what Hinata is doing. Is she looking at the stars, too? Heh, that sounds so cheesy.

Normal POV

In the morning, both Hinata and Temari were hoping the other would want to go out again. Hinata was too shy to bring up the topic on her own, and Temari didn’t want to rush Hinata. After a day filled of avoiding each other, Hinata found Temari sitting in a large tree. When Temari noticed Hinata’s presence, she smiled softly at her and invited her to sit. Minutes passed and neither said anything, just happy to be in the others presence. Finally, Temari turned to Hinata and asked,

“Hinata-chan, do you maybe want to have dinner with me?”

Hinata blushed and nodded. “Maybe, T-Temari-chan, you c-could come over....to my place?” she inquired.

Hinata’s POV

I took a deep breath, waiting for her reply. She smiled and nodded. “Sure Hinata-chan, do you want to get together tomorrow?” she asked. I nodded and blushed.

“Okay, well, I have to get going now.” she said.

We jumped out of the tree and began to walk out of the forest. Temari slipped her hand into mine and we laced our fingers together. A little ways later, Temari stopped. She pulled me into her and said,

“I guess this is where we part, love. I’ll see you tomorrow, okay?”

I nodded and she cupped my face and told me,

“Hinata…I love you, I know it sounds kinda corny but I had to tell you. I had to make sure you knew.”
I smiled and boldly wrapped my arms around her waist.

“I know Temari-kun, and I love you.”

Her eyes widened when I said this, and she gave me the most loving smile. I leant up on my toes so I could press my lips to hers. I suppose I’m growing bolder the more I’m around Temari, but I don’t want to be the stuttering little shy girl for the rest of my life. Temari makes me feel….I don’t know, I guess safe. It’s a hard feeling to describe. She runs a hand through my hair to cup the back of my neck.
Temari kisses me slowly, and I trace the seam of her lips with my tongue. I feel her gasp and then my tongue is met with hers. Temari taste spicy with a little hint of sweet, but there’s something that’s just pure Temari. The way she kisses me makes me feel warm and special. Temari’s being so gentle with me, pouring everything she feels for me into our first real kiss. I respond by doing the same.
When we finally part for air, she smiled and places a soft kiss on my forehead. We hold each other a while longer before we have to say our goodbyes and she and I head home. I walk through the door with a blissful smile on my face, barely noticing anything around me. Later, when I fall asleep, I can’t help but think of Temari. I’m excited to see her again.

AN: Yay! Chapter three is finished. Okay, im a little stuck with ideas, so if anybody has an idea on where the story should go, that would be nice. It might take a bit to get the next chapter out. Either way I hope you enjoyed this. Ja for now
