Chapter 1 : The Clocktower Murder

PART 3
Next Day , Noon , The Police Station
Sasuke was quietly looking at the screen of his laptop .For some time now he was silently reading one case file .
CASE 08453
Oficer in charge : Ohara Tenten
Victim : Yamamoto Shizuka
Date of birth : 16.02.1984
Date of death : 04.05.2006
Cause of death : Overdose of narcotics. Found traces of injections on the ankles and the scalp . Found traces of heroin , but the base substances weren’t indentified.
‘ The base substance wasn’t identified..’
Sasuke silently mused as he fell back into his leather chair . He absently looked at the celling .

The girl spoke quietly as she was passing him to run for her class.

"Yamamoto Shizuka"
‘ What does Yamamoto Shizuka has to do with Aoi’s Anna death . There must be some connection ...I don’t think Weber would bring my attention to this case for no apparent reason. There is always also the possibility that the girl herself has something to do with the murder and is just trying to distract my attention with this Yamamoto case .’
“Sasuke-kuun! I brought you’re coffe! “ sang a sugar covered voice.
The pink haired woman smilled at him sweetly as she placed the cup in front of him on his desk .
“Hn”
Was the only anwser she got from the dark haired man as he didn’t even bother to look at her .
“ So ...How is the case of that girls suecide progressing ? “
“ Hn . “
After around 5 minutes of being completly ignored the woman left . Only to be replaced by am angry looking Inazuka Kiba . Much to Sasuke’s annoyence .
“ You! “
The dog man pointed with his head to Sasuke.
“ Come with me outside to the parking lot. We need to talk . “
At the end the man’s eyes turned into tiny angry slits as he started to walk away. Sasuke silent followed the man outside.

“ Station nr 27...station nr 27...Where the hell is that fricking place?!?!”
Naruto started to scratch her head in frustration as she had been trying to locate the DAMN place for 20 minutes now.
Damn it.
Damn that pale skined , smug police bastard.
Why the hell did she have to meet him yesterday at the campus. Well , it was in half her fault as she was indeed tresspassing , but still... believe the luck of Naruto!!!!!
And now here she was . In some bloody part of Tokyo she didn’t even know , looking for a police station and looking nervously at her watch. She still had some time to spare around 2 hours before her shift at Ichiriaku starts. She was hoping to be done with everything quickly and smoothly , but HELL , she was Naruto – nothing ever goes smoothly or according the plan for her .
“ Ahhhhhhhhh...” She let out a long tired breath. This was not good . Meaning getting involved with the police. Before Iruka left for France she promised him that she would stay out of trouble. In direct translation meaning stay away from the police. But damn...here she was walking to the police station to meet with a guy that had an ‘quiet sharp insight ‘ . Damn...Why the hell can’t she ever hold her mouth closed! Why did she mention Yamamoto to the creepy guy. Now for sure he won’t leave her alone. Why did she reveal one of the secrets that Anna left her with .
One was for sure . At this point of time there is no turning back .
She continued to walk ahead absentmindly down the street as suddenly she collided with a wall.
No wait.
Since when were walls soft and farm .
“ Ya okay lil Lady ? “
Spoke a male voice. There was a vein poping on Naruto’s forhead.
“ Who ARE you calling a LITT...”
But she didn’t get to finish her sentence as she looked up to see a reaallly big man.

A third voice joined them.

Uchiha spoke to himself as he looked up at the cloudy autumn sky .

Naruto grinned at two men walking now next to her eating a bag of chips.

The other man with his hair in ponytail looked down at the girl on his right side.

“Huh?...So now it’s Nara –san? Pry tell me why you suddenly decided to use honorifics? “
“ Aw...Nara-san don’t be sooo uptight! I just find it really bothersome to use honorifics with the people I like! I mean doesn’t saying ‘Shikamaru ‘ sound more friendlier that saying ‘ Shikamaru-san’ . I mean it’s not like you are some 40 yrs old geezer...Right Chouji?”
She looked at the other man.

Shikamaru looked at his friend with disbelief.
“ And why the hell are agreeing with her screwed up logic ?”
The other man choose to pretend not to hear the asked question.

Shikamaru stated as they stopped in front of the entrance steps to the police station.The pony tailed man looked at the girl next to him who now was wearing a grim expression on her face as they slowly made their way inside.
“ So...Why were you looking for this place by the way? “
“ Ahhhh...I have an appointment with one ANNOYING guy that works here “
She spoke with irritation in her voice.
Nara started to wonder who might she mean. ‘ Annoying ‘ was the only reference he had. If he were to sum all the annoying persons here the leading one would be...Kiba? What the hell did she have to do with Kiba?! She didn’t look like a relative or anything those lines. Plus she used ‘annoying ‘ making it sound as she was quiet familliar with the person. So...Was she maybe his girlfriend?
He looked again at the fuming bloond.

They finally reached the reception desk were Yamanaka Ino and Haruno Sakura were stationed . The only two females here and also the loudest part of the staff here.
The said women smilled brightly at the arriving trio.
“ Ahh!! Shikamaru-kun and Chouji-kun ! Already back from the Lunchbreak? “
“ Ahhh...You see we found this little stray cat and decided to show it the way here”
Shikamaru anwsered in a bored voice .
“ WHO ARE YOU CALLING A STRAY CAT ?!”
The female shoted at the brown haired man . The reaction that followed was the wince of all the nearest occupants as to the noise level generated by the blond.
“ Anno...How may we help you? Miss---? “
Naruto stopped glaring at the man and turned to the pink haired woman by the reception desk.
All traces of anger gone from her face.
“ Damn ...mood swings “ Shikamaru mumbled quietly under his nose.
Good for him , he wasn’t heared by anyone.
“ My name is Weber Naruto and I have an appointment here with one of you’re detectives ? “
Ino slowly took the staff book to see who was on duty today.
“ And who may that be , Weber –san “
She smilled brightly at the blond girl.
“ Uchiha Sasuke “
She stated calmy.
“WHAT?!?!”
Both females shouted at the same time gaining possiblly the attention of the whole station.
The men with whom she came were looking at her speechlessly.
“ I said that I am supposed to meet here with Uchiha Sasuke. You know freakish pale skin , black hair , bad character , lousy manners...”
“ Oi , So you ‘ finally’ got here idiot?”
She didn’t get to finish her mantra as the said source of her irritation made his way to them with his coat draped around his arm.
A little vein poped at her head.She turned around so she was now facing the pale skinned man directly.
“ Well...I wouldn’t have been late if SOME bastard was bright enough to give me some directions to this bloody station “
“ Hn. “ Sasuke slowly started to put on his coat. There was a new vein poping joining the previous one in their happy dance.
“ Bastard, Don’t ‘ Hn ‘ me . “
“ Hn “ Sasuke ignored the fuming blond. Instead he turned to silent women by the desk. Who were looking at them with their mouth open in disbelief.
“ Haruno-san, Yamanaka-san I will be now going for my lunch “
That somewhat broke the spell the two women were under as they noded to what he said. Sasuke once again looked at the blond female in next to him.
“ Allright . Come with me now “
“...”
Sasuke slowly started to walk , however he stoped not hearing any steps following him. He was greeted with a view of a blond with her arms crossed in front of her chest standing still in the place where he left her. The following four person ( and the rest of station were looking at them with interest.
“Are you coming or not? “
“ Not coming. “
The dark man’s eyebrow twitched.
“ If I remember correctlly you came here to meet with me , yes? “
“ Yes”
Short anwser.
“ So prey tell me , why aren’t you following me for our meeting?”
“ Cause you’re mean “
Again one of his fine eyebrows twitched as he made his way to the humming now blond who completly ignored him. He swifty caughed the offending blond by the ear and started to pull her in the direction of the exit.
“ OUCH!!! What THE HELL ARE YOU DOING YOU BASTARD!?”
“...”
Hecontinued dragging the blond.
“ STOP IT ! DAMN IT! YOU ICE PRICK!!!!!!!!”
“...”
“I SWEAR WHEN YOU LET ME GO I AM GONNA YOU”RE SO HARD THAT YOU WON”T BE ABLE TO FOR THE REST OF YOU”RE LIFE!!!!”
Some more ‘floral shouts and declarations followed as the two left the station.
“ Whta the HELL was that? “ Shikamaru was the first to break the silence.

Sasuke and Naruto were walking down the street . The blond furiously rubbing her red ear. Sasuke took a smoke.
“ Now tell me ..what THE hell was that supposed to be , Weber –san?”
He looked , no glared , at the unimpressed girl next to him.
“ It was a payback for yesterday. I don’t like to be threaten Uchiha and I hope that after this little show you won’t fail to remember that.”
Sasuke smirked at the blond.
Indeed he was right . She seems to be very interesting.
“ So I presume that this was you’re revenge and not just a proof of you’re split personality?”
The woman chuckled .
“Ahh...You hurt My Feelings Uchiha! And here I was trying to pull such a nice show for you! “
“You mean giving me more headaches to come? Those people won’t stop pestering me now. “
The blond smilled her hands now resting on the back of her head .
“ So .. My mission was accomplished. “
Sasuke stopped in his track as he looked at the small blond in front of him .
“ I don’t know why Weber but I find you really ANNOYING “
The girl turned her head slightly to look at him as she continued walking .
“ Good. I find you annoying also .”
Sasuke smirked at that as he continued walking .
“ So ...we have mutual feelings on this ?”
“ Indeed “
They continued to walk silently when after some time Naruto stoped in front of a resteurant. Sasuke looked up to read the name “ Ichiriaku “.
“ Oi. You coming in, bastard?”
Sasuke looked at the blond by the entrance door.
“ What are we doing here? “
Naruto looked at him with a little suprise in her eyes.
“ Why don’t you remeber ! We’re here for lunch! And as it was you’re call you’re the one P-A-Y-I-N-G! “ ( Add a little heart at the end of the sentence ).
Naruto said as she dissipired behind the entrance curtains.
Uchiha Sasuke by now came to one life altering conclusion.
He really didn’t LIKE Weber Naruto.
