An Innocent Gesture...
Chapter 3 – An Innocent Gesture...
----
YAY! Another update this quickly?! I must be high...or just feel like writing.
Also all of you should read Lemon Drops newest stories, This or That and First Kisses, they are really good, like all of her stories. In fact...you should just go and read all of her stories. :D

Temari stared at Rin, who was still chewing her lip; Temari’s mouth was hanging open unceremoniously. Neither Kankurou nor Temari knew Rin as well as they did Naruto, or Kakashi, but there were stories about her. An extremely cheerful and a powerful medical ninja, who was married to the illustrious Copy-Ninja, Kakashi Hatake, another powerful ninja on his own. And still Rin was nervous about something. That was not a good thing. “What’s the situation?” Temari asked.
“Well...” Kakashi began.
Meanwhile, Gaara and Naruto continued to walk on, oblivious, well Naruto was at least, that the other two Sand Siblings and the Leaf Couple weren’t with them. Hmmm... Gaara thought as Naruto prattled on about shrimp ramen. The youngest Sand Sibling, chuckled as he put a hand over Naruto’s mouth. “So...How have you been, Uzumaki?” He asked and took the hand away from the younger boy’s mouth.
A wide grin appeared on the tall, blonde ninja as he began speaking again. “I haven’t been dead for one.” Naruto stuck his tongue out playfully at the shorter Kazekage, who just gave him the dirtiest of looks. “Well it’s true.” And ruffled the red-head’s hair, chuckling. “Besides that, I’ve been good. And so is everyone else! Sasuke is still a smug, hard-assed bastard. Sai is still socially retarded. And Sakura is now going out with Lee.” Gaara started to stare at his feet while walking, remembering the pain he had caused back than. “Eh?” Naruto said raising an eyebrow and shrugged, “Still going on about that? Its in the past! Lee’s not one to hold a grudge! It’s not youthful enough!” And with that Naruto struck the nice guy pose, mocking our favorite green-spandex ninja with fuzzy eyebrows. “So how have you been, Gaara?” Naruto said, drawing out his name slowly.
Gaara had a very slight blush across his pale skin. And Naruto being the idiot that he is never noticed it. “I’ve been good and the village has been running well.” He said and the two walked in silence for a while, till they passed the Kazekage statues.
Naruto stared at them with a devious grin. “Oooooh! Did they just...?”
Gaara smirked and said, “Yeah, they finished mine...” And then he remembered the incident a few years back, when he went to visit the Village Hidden in the Leaf. Tsunade’s face in the Hokage Mountain was completely scribbled over. “And I would love it if you didn’t do anything to them.”
Naruto got a look akin to that of a fox kit, which had just been hurt. “That cuts deep...” He said with a sniffle.
He hated that face, so very much. “...I’ll buy you some Ram...” Gaara began and than stopped. He noticed how the big grin on Naruto’s face. “I mean one bowl of Ramen tomorrow.” And with that Naruto lowered his head in disappointment. Gaara grabbed his arm and dragged him into the Kazekage office.
----
Thirty minutes later, the four Jounins walked into the office, to Naruto talking about Pork Ramen and Chicken Ramen and Gaara was playing with his sand a bit. Temari and Kankurou looked at Naruto for a second before shaking their heads in disbelief.
“Hmm...Alright, everyone’s here...” Gaara said, putting the sand away and neatly folding the hands together. “Well...basically...We enlisted your help for two reasons. One, a powerful group of missing ninjas from our own village have been targeting Genin and Academy students randomly. We are having problems tracking them currently, and they may or may not head to the Leaf. Second...our younger ninjas...Can not work together.”
Temari sputtered, and said. “They don’t need to know that.”
Kankurou shouted loudly, “It’s not there problem!”
Gaara moved waved an arm to silence them. “The leaf village excels in Teamwork, you know that. This is a problem that will weaken the village in the future. And I don’t see either of you two or any of the elders coming up with any ideas that are working.” He folded his hands again. “So I asked Lady Tsunade for help. We can not have the missions being compromised anymore.”
Kakashi nodded. “Understood Lord Kazekage...But it will take some time to come up with a decent solution to your young ninja problem.”
“Eh? Little Naruto, you’ve an idea?” Rin asked with a smile.
Naruto was grinning like a little devil. “Kakashi-sensei...do you happen to have any...bells?”
Kakashi quirked an eyebrow, amazed he thought of something that effective that quickly. “Yup...”
“ALRIGHT!” Naruto said as he threw his fist in the air. “Gaara...Bring all your Jounin and the Genin team with the worse cooperation, to the training grounds tomorrow. Make sure that team skips breakfast!” Naruto said.
“Alright...well...you are all dismissed. Kankurou, Temari, take them to there room.”
The two older siblings nodded and the five ninjas left the Kazekage in his room.
----
“A THOUSAND YEARS OF PAIN!” Three Naruto voices could be heard, as three Sand Genins were launched out into the air and collided into each other. Gaara rubbed his ass in memory of when that Kunai exploded. Two shadow clones disappeared and a buzzer was heard across the training grounds. Naruto walked over to the Genin’s shaking his head, holding the two bells in his hands, and let out a disappointed sigh. “You guys don’t get it do you. Individually you can’t get the bells from me. BUT! If you had worked together, you might have been able to steal one...But you didn’t...Now you guys are going to get a second chance. Against my old sensei.” Naruto grabbed one of the Genin and tied him to a log. “Now, you two will be able to eat something so you will have the strength to fight. DO NOT feed him.” Naruto said pointing to the boy tied to the log. “You will automatically fail if you do. And I will suggest to your Jounin sensei and Ga...I mean Lord Kazekage, to have you sent back to the Academy. Got it?!” With that Naruto and the rest of the Jounin’s seemed to have disappeared.
Gaara stared at the blonde hair boy and hissed at him, “How is this going to help anything?!”
“Shhh...Just watch.” Naruto said, hushing his friend.
And as if on cue, the skies darken and Kakashi’s voice boomed like thunder. “YOU GUYS!” He shouted. “BROKE THE RULES!”
Gaara raised an eyebrow as he looked at Naruto who was snickering. “Don’t worry they passed.” The eyebrow was raised again.
One of the Genin spoke up. “SO what?! If we didn’t give her any food, she wouldn’t have been able to do anything! And we would have to cover her more. And it would be harder to have plans for us to work together with!”
Kakashi started grinning and Rin appeared next to Kakashi, “Congrats, you passed!”
Every Sand Ninja there quirked an eyebrow, very confused on what just happened and Kakashi began again. “Its true, the mission is important and failing an important mission may hurt your village a bit. You’ll be called trash.” Kakashi took a breath. “But...those that disregard there teammates and comrades are pure scum...”
Rin interrupted again. “It took a death of a close friend for him to realize that...But this test is designed to pit all of you against each other. To try and see if you can rise above your personal feelings and work together for the better of the team. Keep up the good work, and you may become legendary ninjas.”” She said with a smile that caused the two boy Genin’s to blush.”
Gaara and Naruto jumped out of hiding. “I see...” The Kazekage said as he walked to the children. “Alright...you’re free to go, but just don’t tell any of the Genin’s...or else...” Gaara said and gave an evil chuckle, as he untied the other Genin.
----
Later that night, at the Ramen stand, was six ninjas. The Kazekage was drinking his sixth cup of sake; his cheeks were a nice rosy red. Naruto was downing his second bowl of Ramen. Temari and Kankurou had finished there bowls and were making small talk. Kakashi and Rin were just content feeding each other. They have been married for years now and still acted like they were dating. It was kind of cute.
“Eh, Uzu*hiccup*maki...you know…you know I like you.” Gaara said after drinking a few more cups of Sake and was just a wee bit drunk.
“Eh?” Naruto looked up from the ramen, giving the wet noodles a few more minutes not to be eaten. “I knew that already Gaara. I like you too.”
“No...*hiccup* I really like you.” The Kazekage said as he looked smiled at his blonde haired friend. The rest of the ninja’s were looking at the pair, complete and utter disbelief written on there face.
“Uh...I don’t understand...” Naruto said.
And the other four ninja’s had the same thought. Is Naruto really that oblivious?
“I mean *hiccup* like this.” Gaara than cupped Naruto’s face and laid a small, drunken kiss on Naruto’s lips.
Temari and Kankurou, in true older sibling fashion, went “Awwwwwwww, isn’t that cute.”
For Kakashi and Rin though...it was like watching a train, while inside one of the trains. Kakashi grabbed Gaara out of the way. Rin pushed Kankurou and Temari into the far wall. “Damnit...” Kakashi muttered as they watched what unfolded next.
Naruto was there gripping his head, muttering something inaudible to everyone but him. His finger nails began to turn into claws and his K-9’s turned into fangs. As his eyes opened to reveal red demonic eyes, but this time, they weren’t filled with rage or anger. No, this time they were filled with fear. Complete and utter fear of being hurt again. “DON’T COME NEAR ME!” He shouted and clawed at some invisible foe, before running out of the Ramen stand and the Sand village.
Kakashi began to shake Gaara. “DO you even know what you did!?”
To be continued.

Bum bum bum! Looks like Gaara just made everything worse. Poor drunken fool...mmm drunken Gaara.
Well please R&R.

Nurse Tenshi-Lee: You’re...Sorta right...It might be about that...I think. I don’t know...or DO I? ...I think I do...Something...I think...What was I talking about again?
Anyways time to clear up a slight confusion that was my fault.
Sakura’s and Tsunade’s stuff/view isn’t happening in this fic. It was never ment to. They are happening in two other fics. Sorry for the confusion.
I got this idea after watching Star Wars EP 1 and than a book I had that was based on Anakin’s view. I have never seen Hoodwinked. I want to see it at one point though.
Also FYI, I’m a guy not a girl.
