A Families Betrayal

Hey eveyone. Sorry it took so long to update. I hit a writers block about two words into this thing. I hope this chapters okay though.

Shino awoke with a shout. He tried to look around but was encountered by total darkness. "Where am I?" he wondered aloud. He jerked when a voice came from somewhere to his left. "Your in the hospital shino." Shino recognized the voice as belonging to Tsunade. "If Im in the hospital," Shino began, "Then why is it so dark? Why cant I see anything?" He heard a sob coming from tsunades direction. "Im sorry Shino. Your father and clan elders removed your eyes."

Not knowing what to say, Shino remained silent. "And to make it worse, It is impossible for you to recieve a transplant eye. "Why?" Shino asked. Tsunade sighed before she began to speak. "On top of just removing your eyes, those bastards also ripped out your optical nerve. Burned it right out using chakra. And its impossible to regrow nerves." "Oh." was all shino said to this shocking news. He turned his head to face Tsunades general direction. "Why cant I feel any pain then?" he asked. "You cant feel any pain because The wound has already healed over. Youve benn in the hospital for over a month. Weve been doing all we can to speed up the healing process. Your almost completely healed."

For the first time he could remember, Shino began to cry. When he felt no tears running down his face, he began to sob even harder. He felt Tsunade place her hand on his shoulder. "Itll be all right Shino. It'll be all right. Now get some rest and Ill make sure to have your team mates come visit." Shino nodded and promptly fell asleep.

1 Week later


"SHIZUNE!" Tsunade shouted from her desk. "Yes Tsunade-sama?" Shizune said from the doorway to the hokages office. "Oh. There you are," Tsunade said. " Any progress In finding a way to go after the Aburames?" Shizune shook her head. "Im sorry Tsunade-sama. The only retaliation would have to come fron Shino. That is the only way. Anything else would be construed as interferance in clan matters and would not be tolerated. The Konoha council would put a stop to it." Tsunade began to shake with rage. "Damn!!!" She yelled as she slammed her hand on her desk. "Those fucking assholes are going to get off scott free. I just wish that there was some way to help Shino regain what he has lost."

Another of Tsunades aides poked his head into the room. " You have a visitor, Hokage-sama. He says it is in regards to one of our chuunin." Tsunade sighed. "Show him in. And as for you Shizune, wait outside incase I need you." Both aides bowed and exited the room. 'I wonder who did what now. If its Kiba again Im going to have that dog-boy neutered. Maybe that'll calm him down.'

The hokage looked up as a man walked into the room and sat down in front of her. Tsunade looked the man over. Dressed in a black coat with the Kanji for shadow embroidered ove his heart he bagan to speak " I am honored that you could see me right away Hokage-sama. My Name is Kage Suuten." Tsunade shook her head. "It was no trouble. I had no other pressing buisness. Now tell me why you have come, Kage-san." He bowed his head to Tsunade. " I have come to find a relative of mine. A nephew to be exact.." Tsunades interest was peaked. She kept her eyes on him as he continued his story. "About 16 years ago, my brother met a woman by the name of Hara Aburame. After a couple of months she finished the mission that had brought her to my brothers homeland. After a long tearful goodbye Hara left. We did not learn for almost a week that she had been pregnant when she left."

Tsunade interupted the mans story hastily. "You mean to tell me that the Aburames have a child living among them that is only their child by half?" Suuten nodded. "Please continue," Tsunade said sweetly. "Certainly," Suuten responded. "After my brother learned of the pregnancy he left to track Hara down. Un fortunatly, she had not told him where her village was. After Almost 10 years My brother sent a message hame saying that he had found the village that the Aburames hailed from, and that he was going the next day to confront them about his child." Suuten took a breath before he continued. "We never heard fro my brother again. I have spent the last six years tracking this place down. I have come find my nephew Hokage-sama. I was hoping you could track him down." Tsunae looked Like she was deep in thought. "What is his name?" she asked. Suuten shook his head. " I know only his clan. Aburame. That is why I needed your help" "Ill see what I can do," Tsunade said sweetly. "Shizune!" The hokage called. "Yes, Tsunade-sama?" Shizune asked from the doorway. "I need you to find the records of an Aburame Hara. I want you to find the name of her child. I need it ASAP." The hokage ordered. "Yes Tsunade-sama." Shizune bowed and exited the room.
