Chapter 3



The hit from Sasuke caused Kiba to stumble back and hit the coffee table behind him, thus tripping over it and landing on his back. Haku ran off to get an icepack, and Gaara.



"Fuck Sasuke! What the fuck was that for?" Kiba yelled, in pain.



"That," Sasuke said cooly, "Was for giving me a bloody nose and, for lying to me. So, you gonna tell me where he is now?"



Before Kiba could answer Gaara came into the room with Haku. "Sasuke, you and I are going to have a little talk and then you will go home and leave Kiba alone." Gaara said, pulling Sasuke out the door.



Haku rushed over to where Kiba was laying on the ground. "Are you okay?" Haku asked.



"Yeah, I'll be fine. Can you go get Naruto and Neji?"



Haku nodded and handed Kiba the icepack. Kiba out the pack on his eye and watched Haku leave the room with his good eye. Haku walked back to Kiba's room, opening the panel in the closet once more.



"Kiba wants to see you guys."



"What happened?" Naruto asked, concerned.



"Sasuke punched him."



Naruto and Neji both gasped. "What, why?" Neji asked



"My guess is last nights, I mean this mornings, bloody nose. Possibly also for lying."



Haku reached out and slapped Naruto in the arm. "Ow, what was that for?!?"



"You left your hat on the bed."



Naruto felt his head, not finding the cloth of the hat. "Oh."



Naruto and Neji crawled out of their hiding spot, following Haku to the living room where Kiba lay. Naruto looked at his friend in shock. Pain was writted across the other teen's face. "Oi, Kiba!" Naruto ran over to his brunette friend, "Did teme do this to you? Where is he? I'll teach him a lesson." Naruto started to get up, but stopped when he felt a hand grab his wrist.



"Don't, he's with Gaara. Gaara will just get mad, and that's not a good thing."



*Meanwhile*



After Gaara dragged Sasuke out of Kiba's house, he shoved the raven into his car and got in himself. Once inside he slapped Sasuke. "You idiot! Beating up Naruto's best friend won't make him like you more! Especially when Kiba was just protecting him from you. He had every right to lie and say Naruto wasn't there, but he shouldn't have punched you at the party. Getting even with him will earn you nothing. You should know that by now."



Gaara stopped, took a breath and looked at the fuming Uchiha. He was rubing his face where Gaara had slapped him. "Damn Gaara, that hurt. That seems to be all I'm getting lately, pain."



Gaara turned and looked out the front window. "You pulled yourself into most of it. I mean, didn't it even cross your mind that Naruto would have a bad reaction to the kiss? Even once? Or were you caught in the moment?"



Sasuke looked at the floor then back at Gaara. "Fuck Gaara, I can't take this right now. There is so much running through my head, and you yelling isn't helping." He opened the car door and stepped out. "I gotta go sort some shit out." He closed the door and walked over to his car, opening the door and getting in. He turned on the car, pulled out of the parking space and drove away.



Gaara got out of his car and went back inside to find Naruto crying on the couch with Haku and Neji trying to comfort him. "Where's Kiba?"



Haku looked up at him. "Neji and Naruto carried him to the bedroom."



Gaara looked at Naruto. "What happened to him?"



"He has yet to tell us."



"Oh." Gaara walked out of the living room and into Kiba's room. "So, how bad is it?"



Kiba looked at him. "Not too bad, it just hurts. Of course Naruto has to over exaggerate things and decided I needed to be carried."



Gaara rolled his eyes. "Typical." He looked at Akamaru who was sitting next to Kiba's head sleeping. "Well, I'm going to go see what's wrong with Mr. Hyperactive." Gaara turned and walk back into the living room just as Naruto started to speak.



"It's all *sob* my fault *sob* that *sob* Sasuke hit *sob* Kiba. If I wasn't *sob* here, this never *sob* woulda happened *sob*."



Hakku hugged the blonde boy and Naruto just cried into Haku's shoulder. "It's not your fault Naruto-kun. Kiba wanted to protect you. He chose the path he walked upon, because he cares about you. He loves you like you're his brother and he, along with Gaara, Neji, and myself hate seeing you hurt."



Naruto stopped crying and Haku let go of him. "Would one of you mind getting some stuff from my house?"



"I'll do it," Neji said.



Naruto looked at the brunette teen. "Okay, if your sure. You should go with Gaara though. As long as you won't have sex in my bed that is."



Gaara glared at the blonde. "What do you want?"



"Um, some clothes, ramen, a toothbrush, ramen, my book, ramen, the blanket on the chair. Did I mention ramen?"



Haku smiled. "Yes, three times." He looked at the two waiting to go. "Let me give you guys the keys." He moved over to the key holder and pulled off an orange one. "Here you go." He handed it to Gaara.



"Alright, we're out of here." Neji said.



Gaara turned towards Naruto. "I promise we won't have sex in your apartment Naru-chan."



Naruto made a face. "Thanks, that makes me feel a whole lot better."



Haku and Neji laughed as Gaara opened the door and pulled Neji to his car.

Sasuke spen down the street in his black car. "Fuck the world! Fuck everyone on it to hell!" He made a sharp turn, narrowly missing hitting into a streetlamp. He pulled up the driveway to the Uchiha mansion and came to a stop. He sat and hit his head against the wheel a few times. "I'll bring the stuff to his house. Well, most of it anyway."



He continued to drive soon pulling up in front of the blonde's apartment complex. He decided to park a block away so if anyone came, they wouldn't know he was there. He parked and walked up to the building, quickly finding Naruto's apartment. He opened the door and looked in, surprised at the sparceity. He looked upon the bed that looked a few years to old. His eyes then wandered to the small table and folding chairs. 'Wow, he really needs a decorater. I'll help him if he'd let me.'



Sasuke reached into Naruto's backpack and started placing things back in their spots. He slipped the keys into his pocket, thinking of holdind them hostage. He put back the pillow and noticed a picture sitting by the bed. It was a picture of Iruka and Naruto. 'So, he grew up with Iruka-sensi? Interesting.' He put the picture down and was about to leave when he heard talking. He dove under the bed just as the door opened.
