Naruto thought to himself for a second ‘This is a chance of a lifetime, but if anyone found out about this the id be in deep shit…’ Naruto quickly weighed his choices

“Kyuubi, I accept

*Good kit, good.*

“So what are you going to teach me?”

*Kit, have you ever tried to concentrate my chakra into your hand, like for a rasengan?*

“Yeah I have kyu, but it never holds. Your chakra is just too unstable for me to hold it like that” Naruto thought for a moment “Even when I use your chakra my rasengans are always mine”

*Try it now while I’m paying attention to it.*

Naruto held out his hand and summoned out some of Kyuubi’s chakra to form a rasengan. Before it could secure the spherical shape it started to wobble and thrash violently before dispersing.

“That’s what happens, every time”

*Well before I can teach you anything you have to be able to mold my chakra as precisely as your own. I need to think on this*

With that Naruto was left to his own thoughts.

Slightly miffed at his tenant’s dismissal so soon after promising to help train him, Naruto stomped into his kitchen area to cook a cup ramen.

Three minutes later Naruto was sitting on his bed slurping down a cup ramen as another spun idly in the microwave in front of him as another three minutes counted down

As the ramen spun Naruto ran the days events through his head, his confrontation with Tsunade, then later with Sai and Sakura.

Naruto felt betrayed, his best friends had just cast him aside when they got the chance, just like everyone else had in the past

All his life people had treated him like he didn’t exist. The thirds decree had protected him from physical harm but instead left him an outcast. No one even spared him a second glance when he was a child. So he put on his happy-go-lucky grin and made them notice him.

A sigh escaped Naruto’s lips ‘how long since those smiles were real?’

Naruto silently finished his meal cleaned up his mess. As he walked to his bedroom and slid into bed he hoped that tomorrow would be a better day.

Blue eyes slid open an hour before dawn would kiss the horizon with golden fire. Only the shining moonlight hit Naruto’s path as he gathered up his gear and made his way to the training grounds.

Only silence accompanied Naruto as he slowly started his morning Kata. As he moved his body his mind relaxed, allowing his body to flow into the pattern, His body moving and stretching to prepare for a day of strenuous training.

As the minutes ticked by Naruto’s body was slowly illuminated by the sun, his mind in total relaxation. He began to mold his chakra, just playing with it as one would play with a familiar weapon or tool.

Inside of him the demon fox was wrestling with the dilemma he had. He wanted to help the boy, to teach him. But in order to learn the things that he could teach the boy had to be able to use demon chakra just as well as his own.

And he couldn’t, whenever Naruto used his chakra it was unstable and sometimes self damaging. But it was only volatile when he used it, now laying dormant inside of him it was doing no harm and was perfectly calm. Inside…surrounded…

*KIT!*

Naruto was just finishing his warm up when Kyuubi yelled at him.

‘What kyuu?’ Naruto responded ‘why are you yelling at me?’

*I figured it out kit!*

‘Figured out what?’ Naruto asked exited now

*I figured out how you can use my chakra!*

‘Ok what are you waiting for? Teach me!’

*Kit, summon your chakra into your hand. Make it visible*

Naruto easily created a blue flame of chakra in his hand ‘ok now what?’

*Ok now I want you to reach through your chakra and summon mine.* Kyuubi said *visualize my chakra welling op inside of yours, infusing it so to speak*

As Naruto sat there concentration on the chakra flame, doing as Kyuubi said he started to see a change in his chakra.

The flame of chakra began turning purple and swelled to twice its size as Kyuubi’s chakra infused Naruto’s own.

Naruto gasped. His chakra was forming a cocoon around Kyuubi’s that stabilized it and allowed it to be molded. The two chakra blended into a perfect balance of power and control as the purple got deeper in color.

Naruto gazed in wonder at the now royal purple flame in his hand.

‘How did you figure this one out kyuu?’

*I was thinking about how my chakra isn’t unstable while it is dormant inside of you and realized it was because your chakra was there. It is unstable when you would use it because your chakra wasn’t stabilizing it. Now tone it down before someone notices my chakra*

Naruto looked up from his purple flame and into the eyes of an Anbu squad leader, his squad fanned out behind him.

“The Hokage wishes to see you”

“Too late…” Naruto whispered to himself
