Chapter Three

"You know," said Kakashi, hands in his pockets, staring up and down the lines of young and eager faces. "Your lying gets worse with time. I'm surprised that Sasuke believed it that readily."

"Well," said Gai, slightly embarassed before qickly changing the subject, "What were you doing in a dark alley with him on Festival night?"

"He admitted that he has feelings for me," Kakashi said with a sigh, brushing his hair exasperatedly from his moist forehead.

"Poor boy," said Gai with a mischievious smile. Kakashi glared single-eyedly at the other teacher.

"He's feeling very confused at the moment and I don't think I did much to help him." A few moments silence passed before Kakashi reached his house, ushering Might Gai in.

"What do you mean by that, Kakashi?" The normally happy, upbeat man's eyes narrowed, then widened as if seeing his friend for the first time. "You didn't...?" Gai's voice trailed off wearily before heaving a sigh.

"It wasn't entirely my fault, you know." Silence followed these words. Gai only stood against Kakashi's kitchen counter, a frown creasing his large brow. As if he realized that he was fighting a losing battle, Gai shrugged, frown still in place.

"You know, that if I was anybody else on the planet that I'd leave you right now."

"Then why don't you? I thought that was what are pact was: if either of us was unfaithful we'd,"

"Leave that one behind. I know. I know. It has been, however, almost a year now. Is one accident enough for me to throw it all out of the window?" As if he metaphoric window he was talking about was there in the kitchen, Gai glanced around. Kakashi, not daring to utter a word, walked to the sink and began to start on the pile of ramen dishes that Naruto had left that morning before practice.

Kakashi stared hard into the sudsy water, chewing on his tongue. Gai was irritating sometimes, cocky most times, and altogether unbearable almost everyday. Kakashi himself had thought about ending the relationship numerous times, but he almost feared being alone again. And though he hated to admit it, Gai did know how to treat him. He ahd never regretted sleeping with the man once, and this is possibly what kept the relationship going.

The gray-haired man stood so deep in thought that he did not see Gai walk up behind him. Not until the man's hard, warm abdomen was completely against his back did Kakashi sense him. Gai's arms snaked around the other's waist, and he lowered his head to chomp roughly on Kakashi's shoulder.

"I might, though, have to punish you for your misdeed." The voice that rumbled out of Gai's throat was nearly unrecognizeable. Kakashi felt an undeniable pressure growing against the clothen barrier of his pants. He did not know why it came, though. This would be followed by the typical make-out down the hall, crash onto his bed, and soft love-making for half an hour, a whole hour if he was lucky. The sex was good, but predictably consistent.

Kakashi was, then, surprised when a strong hand met his rear over his clothes, and he was roughly pushed over the sink. Close enough to lick the bubbles, Kakashi gave an uncharacteristic whimper when his erection was ground into the cold tile. Perhaps Gai had a different idea for tonight.

This thought was proved correct as Kakashi's arm was twisted behind him and he was roughly dragged from his kitchen towards his dark bedroom. The candles lit themselves as the men entered, and Gai threw his prey onto the bed.
