Can't Keep a Good Fox-boy Down

ItaNarulover: Don't worry, I have plans for Naruto to escape - in this chapter. He just doesn't know what they are yet, so he's just going along it.
So, I just read your profile (because I do that to all my reviewers if I remember) and I like DeiNaru to. Not one of my favorites, but still cool. One of my other fics that I haven't posted yet (mainly because it came in last. Only 2 votes. *tear*) is ItaSasu and DeiNaru.


Ok people, don't expect long chapters because honestly, I have no idea where I'm going with this. I have something else planned...sometime...in the future. Next chapter is too soon, so maybe the 5th? I don't know, you'll just have to wait and find out.

And, for the sake of this chapter, we are going to pretend that Tobi really is an idiot. For those who haven't read the manga, veiw him as the Tobi that others have written about.

Ch. 3: Escape


Naruto paced the cage. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't think of a way to get out. Grrr.

"Kitsune." Itachi had re-named Naruto. 'Naruto' isn't something you name a pet.

The blonde looked up. "Yes Master?"

"Kisame and I have a mission. I don't know when I'll be back so Tobi will be taking care of you."

"Tobi? You mean that 7 year old in a 20 year old body?"

"Yes."

Naruto mentally smirked. Perfect. "When will he be here?"

Before Itachi could answer, an orange mask peeked in the open doorway. "Tobi is a good boy!"

"Now," Itachi said, chosing to ignore the idiot.

Naruto sweatdropped. Why the hell does he always talk in third person?

"Hi Kitsune-san!" Tobi said as he walked up to the cage.

This time Itachi sweatdropped. Why the hell is he calling Naruto -san? Tobi was just one big headach. He turned around and left, without even a good-bye to his pet.

Itachi knew some Konoha ninja - more specifically Sasuke - would be looking for Naruto soon. So, just to spite his little brother, Itachi made sure people saw him with a blue-eyed blond on a leash. Kage Bunshins are a wonderfull tool.

They just happened to pass by one of Jirya's shops. How he got one in the innocent town of Hana was beyond the Akatsuki members, but Itachi decided not to question it. The old pervert could be usefull at times.

Kakashi, Sakura, Sasuke, and Sai were standing in the Hokage's office.

"There have been rumors that a blonde, blue-eyed boy had been seen walking around with two men wearing Akatsuki cloaks---"

Kakashi had Sasuke in a death grip to prevent him from running off.

"---and he was on a leash."

"What?! I'm going to kill that bastard. How dare he put MY Naruto on a leash! That's my job!" The room went quiet as everybody stared at Sasuke. That's right, they didn't know. "Oops."

Sakura stared wide-eyed and heart broken. "You and Naruto are going out?"

Kakashi had a perverted smile with a slight blush on his face. "You and Naruto practice BDSM?"

Sai just looked at him calmly. "You and Dickless have sex? Is he really dickless?"

Sasuke punched Sai with his free hand. "Of course not! He's ---" Sasuke quickly shut his mouth. Nobody except him needed to know how big Naruto was. 'This is what I get for getting all emotional.'

"You're mission is to find him. It is rumored that he was last seen in Hana. You leave in one hour. Dismissed." (A totally made-up town)

They wasted no time.

Tobi took a piece of paper out of his pocket, then looked at the clock. "Okay Kitsune-san! It's time for Tobi to take you for a walk."

Naruto's eyebrow twitched. 'Take me for a walk? What the hell?' Before he could say anything, Tobi had already put the leash on him through the bars. Taking a deep breath, Naruto went with Tobi, trying to perfect his escape plan.

Once outside (because Itachi forgot to say that he was supposed to stay inside) Naruto began to look for something that would distract Tobi.

Team 7 (minus Naruto and plus Sai) reached Hana in record time. They split in pairs - Sakura with Sai and Kakashi with Sasuke - and searched the village.

Kakashi stopped when they passed Jirya's shop to stare at the poster that advertized the next Icha Icha volume.

Sasuke stopped to yell at him. "Kaka---" He stared at the window. There was, who he could only assume by chakra signitures, Kisame and Itachi. And standing next to Itachi, on a leash, looking quit content, was Naruto. HIS Naruto. This sent his Sharingan spinning. Anger was the obvious emotion, but underneath it all was sadness. He and Naruto had been together since the blond dragged him back from Orochimaru.

Kakashi grabbed Sasuke before he did something stupid. "Look closer."

Deciding to do as he was told, Sasuke did. And was very happy to see that Naruto was actually a clone. But that also meant that Itachi knew. "Itachi knows we're here, and he knows of the relationship between me and Naruto."

"Seems so. Wait until he comes out before attacking him." Because there was no way he could (or would) stop Sasuke.

"Hn." Sasuke relaxed a little, though he glared at the collar Itachi was picking out for 'Naruto'.

Kisame looked out the window, then at Itachi. "I'll go finish the mission. You can handle Sasuke."

Itachi nodded as he paid for the collar and a few other things. It was a simple mission, really. Someone knew too much; not that he could do much harm. He was just a villager. A waste of Itachi's talents.

Knowing that Sasuke was staring at him through the window, Itachi leaned down a little and kissed 'Naruto'. He could feel the Sharingan attempting to burn holes in the back of his head.

Calmly walking out, the oldest Uchiha looked at his otouto. "Hello Sasuke."

"Where's Naruto, you bastard?"

Itachi too the bag from the clone and let it poof out of existance. "Not with me."

Sasuke resisted the childish urge to roll his eyes. "Obviously. You didn't leave him with Kisame, did you?"

"No, why?"

"He always looks at Naruto like he wants to eat him."

"Kisame won't eat Kitsune. Zetsu might, but not Kisame."

Sasuke paled at the thought. "Kitsune?"

"'Naruto' is hardly a name for a pet fox, now is it?"

"He is not your pet!" Sasuke threw a punch at Itachi that was easily blocked.

"He called me 'Master'."

Sasuke tried to kick him.

"He moans every time I fuck him."

Sasuke shoved a chidori into...a log. "Damn."

Kakashi stood by and watched this while making sure nobody got in the way. He was there more to make sure Sasuke lived than Itachi died. It was Sasuke's fight, and Kakashi didn't want to end up in the hospital again.

Sasuke turned when he heard a voice in his ear. "Don't get to mad at him. He thinks of you all the time. He calls me Master because I threatened to skip preperations if he thought about you."

That made sense. Sasuke didn't prepare him once, and Naruto wouldn't talk to him for a week. He'd beg for it, if that's what it takes to be free of blood.

"He never said my name, though he moaned yours in his sleep a few times."

Sasuke was confused. Wasn't his brother supposed to be making him mad?

"But the next time you see him, he'll be broken. Obeying me will be all he thinks about. He won't remember you, and would kill you on sight if I told him to."

"Naruto may be an idiot, but he won't break. You've had him for three weeks already, and he won't let you control Kyuubi. He only listens to you when he wants to. And your Sharingan won't help; he already broke through the genjutsu once. Am I right?"

No answer.

Sasuke smirked. "If he can't find a way out, then I'll find a way in."

"Belive what you want, Otouto. Kitsune will be mine." Before Sasuke could attack - verbaly or physically - Itachi disappered.

Naruto was irritated. They spent two hours outside, yet he still couldn't find anything to distract Tobi with. He tried it with a flower, but Zetsu popped up out of nowhere and said that it's poisonous before Tobi had the chance to drop the leash.

Even inside the cave, Naruto still looked. He stopped and smiled. "Hey Tobi."

Tobi turned. "What is it, Kitsune-san?"

"Look at that rock. It sparkles!"

He looked at where Naruto's hand was pointing. "Cool!" Tobi dropped the leash and ran to it.

Naruto turned and ran to the exit. As soon as he was outside he jumped in a tree and hoped he was going in the direction of Konoha. "Freedom! Belive it!"

Something popped up in front of him. Something solid. Naruto fell out of the tree. "Ow. What the hell was tha---" Naruto looked up. "Uh-oh."

Itachi was looking down at the blonde. He jumped down and reached into the bag to pull out the new collar. It had a tag in the shape of the Uchiha crest and said:

"Kitsune-san! Where are you?!" Tobi yelled as he tripped over a root. "Ah, there you are. Why did you run away?"

Everybody, including the newly arrived Kisame, ignored him. For the first time, Itachi broke the silence. "Do you like you're new collar, pet?"

"No."

"Too bad. You'll have to wear it anyways. And," Itachi kneeled in front of Naruto to switch collars, "it's just like this one. Chakra restraining."

"Damn."

"Let's go back inside. There's something I want to show you."

Naruto looked at the bag that was shoved in his hands. "You went to Ero-sennin's store! OMG you kinky bastard!"

Itachi's smirk was hidden by his cloak.

Not knowing where to go, the Naruto Rescue Team went back to Konoha. At least they knew that Naruto would be kept alive.

"So Sasuke. How did you find out about BDSM?" Kakashi asked, trying to lighten the mood.

"You're not the only one that reads Jirya's novels."

Kakashi remembered that volume. Icha Icha Paradise VII: Yaoi Bondage Edition. Cue nosebleed.

"I can't belive you read that crap," Sakura muttered.

Naruto was pouting in his cage. Mission: Escape From Akatsuki - Failed.

I should probably explain something: Sasuke was brought back from Orochimaru 2 years ago, but Orochimaru didn't die. Team 7 was on a mission that took them to the border of Fire Country, where Sasuke sensed Snake-bastard. He ran off to kill him and Naruto followed. From there it went to what happened last chapter.
