The two stood facing each other, Waiting for the other to move, Neji activated his Byukkegen, as soon as he did Naruto summoned 3 shadow clones. Neji grinned as he thought *He's gotten taller, but he hasn't changed a bit* and spun off the clones with ease, Naruto locked eyes with Neji, threw a kunai toward Neji then went airborne. Neji Jumped to chase him, it wasn't long before be caught up, Neji took his stance and initiated his 64 points attack. when he finished he thought to himself "That was easier than expected" At that moment there was a poof and a cloud of smoke, as soon as he heard the noise he knew what had happened. Naruto had actually summoned four clones, but then where was he, and how did me escape the Byukkugen. Neji should have been able to see him, He started looking quickly to see where the blonde had run off to, He didn't see the hit coming, Naruto Put a foot into Nejis back knocking him forward, A shadow clone met Neji in the air going the other way planted a kick to his face, Neji fell to the ground unable to move. Once again his thoughts ran quickly *since when does Naruto hit that hard? how did he avoid my Byukkegen I should have seen it coming*

The blond landed next to him and offered him a hand to help him up. "looks like you owe me ramen"

"It does look that way" Neji admitted.

Neji let his thoughts wander for a minute then spoke again "You did get stronger, I took you too lightly, It won't happen next time"

"Yea training with erro-sennin has helped me out a lot" Naruto was still excited about the training and the sparring match that he just won.

Neji didn't bother to question Naruto on how he had avoided being spotted by his Byukkegen

They both looked up as they noticed Hinata coming down the path the their training field.

The two walked toward her to meet her, She noticed immediately that Neji looked roughed up. She had been told that He was gonna be sparring with Naruto this morning, she had been mildly afraid Naruto would be hurt, but looking over at her blonde crush, He didn't look like he was hurt at all, hell he didn't even look like he had fought at all, he looked like he had just gotten here.

"Hello Hinata-chan" Naruto chimed happily still excited from winning his match against Neji.

"H-Hello Naruto-kun" She replied she dropped to her familiar habit out of nervousness her head down and her index fingers together, she was blushing a little.

Naruto wondered why she was always blushing it seemed like everytime he saw her she was blushing and always seemed nervous.
"So what kind of training are we going to be doing today" Naruto asked he was a bit excited to be training with them, A nice change from training with the same person for two years straight.

"Taijutsu" Neji replied. "That means no shadow clones just hand to hand."

Naruto suddenly seemed nervous, He wasn't bad but he wan't as good at hand to hand as either of the Hyuugas standing with him.

"Whats with that look Naruto, you almost look like you're afraid" Neji said smirking.

"N-No I'm not." Naruto starting to look angry from the comment.

"Don't worry you'll be working with Hinata, The idea here, I'm the best here at straight Taijutsu, So the two of you will have to work together to beat me" Neji still had that smirk on his face, it was getting to Naruto a little.

"You seem pretty sure of yourself Neji, I did just beat you, ya know" Narutos tone almost seemed like a retort.

"Yes but then you had shadow clones" Neji's smirk got a little wider.

"Well let's do this" Naruto dropping a bit and getting ready to fight.

"Okay whenever you are ready" Neji dropped to be ready himself.

There was a pause, They stared each other down. Naruto couldn't use his shadow clones, He looked over at Hinata, at least he had help here that was better at taijutsu than himself. Hinata looked over and blushed catching him staring, though he had not meant to, and his thoughts were more about the help she would be in the fight ahead than anything.

Naruto charged in recklessly this was nothing new though, He gave Neji a good surprise, He had gotten a lot faster, He punched right hand first Neji blocked it Neji punched back, though he was blocked, much to his own surprise Naruto had caught his fast and whipped him around by it before using his available hand to punch at Neji again, Neji caught his Fist and they were deadlocked neither could punch without letting go of the other, Hinata watched for a second, Naruto had gotten so strong. she ran forward to help him, Neji let go of narutos hand and brought his own back Punching hard knocking Naruto back, this time he knew to be more careful. Naruto had gotten a LOT better than he had been when he had left.

The three of them fought into the afternoon, all of them exausted Trying to catch their breath, Naruto had landed some good hits on Neji, when the hell did Naruto get so dangerous? Neji recalled a time that without the help of shadow clones Naruto would never have been able to even think of landing a hit. He guessed that Jiraya really had helped him a lot.

Neji stood up after catching his breath "Naruto Let's go get that ramen I owe you, I want to ask you a few things anyways"

"Hell yea" Naruto nearly yelled, he was always game for ramen.

The two of them walked in silence for a while, Hinata had went home after their training. Neji was pondering how exactly he should ask Naruto the questions he had about the sparring match and their was another thing he wanted to talk with the blond about.

"So Naruto how is it that you avoided my Byukkugen during that sparring match?" Neji asked in tone suggesting he was still deep in thought about it.

"Oh that? Jiriya taught me how to suppress my chakra so that even your eyes won't detect it. Took forever to get it right." Naruto answered for once serious.

"I didn't even think that was possible" Neji was shocked a bit.

Naruto looked up "Well I didn't either I thought he was bluffing when he told me it would conceal me even from the Byukkugen.

"Okay now that I have that answered I have another thing I would like to talk to you about."

"Huh?" Narutos confusion showing, what else would Neji want to talk to him about?

Neji waited a second thinking about how to go about the conversation he was about to start, They were just about to the ramen stand. "I guess I can talk when we get there and have a place to sit."

"Okay" Naruto was seeming very confused now.

The stepped through the banners and found themselves seats. "Okay now what was it you wanted to talk about?" Naruto as impatient as ever and clueless as to what Neji wanted to talk to him about.

"Well" Neji paused having difficulty approaching what he wanted to say. He couldn't even believe that he was in fact doing this. "Naruto, What do you think of Hinata?"

"WHA?" Naruto completely caught off guard. A moment passed "what's it to you"

"I just asked a simple question Naruto, what do you think of Hinata."

Naruto thought "Well she's a kind person, cares a lot, She's nice to everyone, she's well likes, she's friends with everyone, at times that makes me a bit jealous. Then again I get that way toward everyone, because they never seem to have the trouble I do making friends." Naruto looked around for a second before asking again "So why do you want to know"

"Naruto do you think shes so nice to you for no reason, have you ever noticed she blushes every time she talks to you? she gave you that medicine after our fight at the chunnin exams, you think that was just because?" Neji looked Up for a second then back at Naruto. "Naruto that girls in love with you, I know you're pretty dense sometimes But I really thought you would have noticed by now."

"She's in...love.....with me?" Naruto sounded confused and almost sad, he thought back to all the times she had done things for him, the medicine at the chunnin exams, when he was badly injured once she had brought flowers for his room at the hospital, every time he was a little too close she would blush really bad, then pass out, it all made sense how had he not noticed. A look crossed Narutos face of pure shock as he realized just what Neji had said was true, Neji smiled "I see you finally get it Naruto."

"But why are you telling me this" Naruto was still confused as to why Neji would say anything

Neji looked straight at Naruto "Because shes been training hard to impress YOU Naruto, she gets stronger in hopes that YOU alone notice her, I'm hoping that you get the hint and do something about it Naruto. I can't stand watching her try to get your attention and you being completely absorbed in Sakura you never noticed the one that's been trying to get your attention. so let's just say I'm trying to turn your head in her direction, You know...your ramens getting cold" Neji motioned to the bowl that had been sat down for Naruto halfway through the conversation and Naruto looked over "I need to think, but first RAMEN" Naruto quickly tipping the bowl back and eating his meal quickly, Neji kept to his bet and footed the bill before they left.

Naruto back at his apartment laying on his back in bed staring at the ceiling. he had never expected that someone like Hinata could ever care for him, she was nice, pretty, Friendly, and the Heiress to one of the most powerful clans in the village, but she was in love with him? it didn't make any sense to the Blond laying there in his own thoughts. How was he supposed to approach her about something like that, he may have been pretty blunt usually but he knew this was something that he couldn't just walk up to her and just flat out as her about.

Hinata sat in her room, with a cup of tea thinking about Naruto, He had gotten so strong since she had last seen him, her feelings for him had done nothing but amplified since he had gotten back. she already had always been impressed by him and liked him, but now he was even more impressive, she doubted herself, How could someone as strong and great as Naruto ever care about someone like her, timid, in her own mind she was weak. what could someone like him want with her, she didn't see herself as pretty. so she had worked the whole time he had been gone training so maybe she could catch his attention, and still today during their training He was the one who had to protect her because she twisted an ankle during a swing and Naruto got between her and Nejis hits. She laid her head back and then sat her tea down and made her way to bed.
