Summary: It’s four months later and Naruko is ready.

Reasons
Part Three
The contractions were coming at a fast rate, and Tsunade was barking orders as she wheeled her to a room where she could perform the C-section. Her water had broken in the kitchen, while Sasuke was smothering her with kisses and touching her belly. She felt bad because his shoes had gotten soaked.
Now she wanted to kill him for getting her pregnant with twins.
“All right, Naruto, I need you to relax. We’re going to numb you so you don’t feel the cut.” Tsunade said quickly, worried about the Kyuubi healing her before they had gotten the twins out. Sasuke was at Naruko’s side, whispering words of encouragement in her ear and stroking her hair. Naruko wanted to bite him, or something more violent, but the pain in her stomach and every where else was distracting her from murdering him.
Tsunade made the first cut, which didn’t really hurt as much as Naruko thought it would. When the blonde didn’t immediately heal up, the Hokage quickly grabbed the first twin, Sasuke cut the umbilical cord, and the little boy was taken off by one of the nurses to get cleaned up. The second baby was removed next, screaming at the top of her lungs as Sasuke cut her cord, too, and was taken away by another nurse. Twins cries echoed in the small room, louder than Naoki had been when he was born. When the placenta was removed, Naruko healed up nicely, just like Tsunade hoped. When the babies were clean and swathed in blankets, the nurses handed them to their parents.
Both babies had dark hair, but their eyes were bright blue with little flecks of black in them. Sasuke held the little boy close to his chest, while Naruko cooed over their little girl.
“Have you named hem yet?” Tsunade smiled, brushing Naruko’s hair off her forehead and making faces at the baby.
“Yes. The little girl is Satori, and this little guy here is Sasume. We want them both to have my last name.” Sasuke murmured softly, nuzzling the tip of the nose against Sasume’s head. The baby yawned and blinked his eyes sleepily, making Sasuke smile and nuzzle him again.
The same nurses who cleaned their children took them back to be checked over, congratulating the couple for a successful delivery. After Naruko was cleaned up, she fell asleep on the way back to the room, with her hand curled in Sasuke’s and a content smile on her face.

“When’s Dad gonna be awake?”
“Soon. He’s been sleeping for days.”
“Sasume looks just like Papa. Except for the eyes.”
“What’s Naruto going to do about breast feeding?”
“He’ll have to switch back and forth to feed them.”
“They look s-so beautiful.”
“Can’t wait to have some of our own.”
There were too many voices in his head, and babies whimpering. Where the hell was he?
A soft hand touched his cheek and Naruto cracked his eyes open, hissing slightly when his head protested the action. The lights wee too bright here. Babies were screaming now and there was a cooing sound as someone picked one of them up. Then he remembered what had taken place just four days ago.
Sasume and Satori were finally here and he was a man again.
“Oi, give me one of the babies, Sasuke.” Naruto whispered, his throat dry as he reached out with flexing fingers. A baby in a blue blanket was put in his arms, and he cooed gently when his eyes finally adjusted to the light. “Hey, pretty baby. I’ve been waiting forever to meet you. Yes, I have.”
He looked up and noticed the people in the room and gave them all a sly smile. Hinata and Kiba were off to one side of the room, Tsunade was checking his vitals, and Sakura was cooing over Satori. Sasuke was fast asleep next to him on the chair, and Naoki was laying on the bed next to him with a tiny hand around his finger.
“You’re vitals seem fine. You’ve been asleep for days. You changed back to your make form the minute you fell asleep after the delivery.” Tsunade smirked, brushing his short hair away from his eyes. Naruto grinned back and kissed Sasume’s forehead, glancing sideways at the man that had made this all possible, still sleeping. “Ah, Sasuke hasn’t left since Sasume and Satori came into the world. Sakura finally offered to watch the babies while he rested.”
“Thank you, Sakura-chan.” Naruto smiled, kissing her on the cheek when she leaned over to hug him awkwardly. Satori was passed on to Hinata, who smiled over the baby and made baby noises that made Kiba laugh. Naruto gave Sasume to Tsunade and rubbed his eyes, feeling sleep pulling him down again. The last thing he heard was Naoki’s soft question as his eyes closed and he fell into the realm of dreams again.
“When can we bring them home, Dad?”

“He just fell asleep again a few hours ago. Nine months in his Sexy no Jutsu must’ve been hard on his chakra network.”
A soft kiss on his forehead and the smell of babies in the air.
“Is he going to be okay, though?”
“He just needs rest, Sasuke. He’ll be fine.”
“Hn.”
Babies cooing. Naruto smiled in his sleep. He could tell who was making so much noise. Satori was just like him, as he’d told Sasuke four years ago when it was first brought up.
“You’ll teach them jutsu, and one of them will act like me when I was younger. It’ll be great.”
One of the babies started to cry and Naruto heard Sasuke say something under his breath.
“Just like the dobe.”
Naruto snorted, “Shut up, bastard. She’s a daddy’s girl.”
His eyes may have been closed still, but he could feel Sasuke lean over him, checking to see if he was actually awake. Then a soft chuckle made him smile again.
“Yeah, she is, isn’t she?” Sasuke laughed, lacing their fingers together and sitting back down in the chair. Naruto fell asleep again, dreaming about diapers and Sasume calling some blonde boy a dobe.

He was really, really warm. Everywhere. And there was talking again, quieter than before, like the voices were trying not to be heard. It made him fidget.
“I think something’s wrong. He keeps falling asleep and stays asleep for days at a time. Naoki is getting scared and the babies won’t go to sleep. Something is wrong, Sakura. And now he has a fever.”
“Tsunade didn’t find anything and she’s checked him over and over again. You’re just panicking for no reason.”
A baby screaming. Naruto reached over and took Sasume out of the bassinet, sighing softly and laying the baby next to him on the bed. Satori was watching him closely, quietly. He smiled at her and she seemed to smile back, but she was only a few weeks old. That should’ve been a little weird.
“Have her check him again! He’s pale, Sakura! He never opens his eyes when he’s awake and he pants in his sleep! I know something is wrong!”
“Calm down, Sasuke-kun! You’ll scare the babies.”
“They’re all ready scared.”
‘But at least they’ve stopped crying.”
Naruto was still warm, and when he looked down, he realized why. Naoki was wrapped around his middle, his face pressed into his back as he slept. Naruto left him there, concentrating on keeping Sasume calm. The little boy yawned softly and closed his eyes, falling asleep right there in the blonde’s arms.
How long had he been sleeping if Sasuke was this upset?
“Just get Tsunade, Sakura.” Sasuke hissed in a deadly voice, coming into the room and stopping in surprise when he saw that Naruto was awake and alert. The blonde was too busy watching Satori to notice, because the little girl had yet to take her eyes off of him. “Are you okay, dobe?”
“She’s smart, like you. Really smart. She actually smiled at me.”
“She’s a daddy’s girl, remember?” Sasuke sighed, falling into the seat next to the bed and watching Naruto closely. Any minute now the idiot would fall asleep again.
“Here, take ‘Sume. I have to piss really bad.” Naruto handed the baby off to his husband, quietly maneuvering Naoki’s arms off of him and getting up. He collapsed onto the floor, hissing out a soft ‘fuck’ when his legs seemed to be too stiff to move. “Crap. All that sleeping killed my legs.” The blonde moaned, using the bed to hoist himself up. Sasuke helped him to the bathroom, staying outside toe watch the babies.
“How do you feel, dobe?” Sasuke asked through the door,
“Fine now. All that sleeping did me some good.”
“That’s so good to hear. You have no idea how worried I’ve been.”
“I could hear you guys talking out in the hall. I know how worried you were. Everybody knew.” Naruto came out of the bathroom, stretching out his stiff arms and pulling the raven into a soft kiss. Sasuke melted into him, a smile curving his lips as Naruto groaned against him and surged into him for a deeper kiss. “Damn, do you know how horny I am right now? Nine months without sex can kill a man.”
“Hn. We can fix that when we get home, dobe. Right now, I want to get Naoki to bed and you out of this hospital.” Sasuke gave him one last kiss before he left the room, intent on finding Tsunade so she could discharge his husband. Naruto stayed back with his children, going over to the babies bassinet and watching them sleep. Satori started to fuss and he picked her up without a second’s hesitation, awed over her beautiful, blue eyes.
His eyes.
“You’re a daddy’s girl, aren’t you, ‘Tori? I’m gonna spoil you so much. Your Papa will be so mad at me.” Naruto grinned, laying a gently kiss on the baby’s forehead as he sat back up on the bed, carefully ticking Naoki into his side. That’ s how Sasuke found him when he came back into the room, Tsunade and Sakura at his heels. After a quick vitals check, the Hokage happily discharged him and promised that the babies would be in their waiting hands in a few days.
