Phone Calls.
Today was the day of his english test. Great, and he hadn't studied at all. He knew that he was a straight A student but he wasn't sure if he was going to be able to pass the test or not. Anxiety was swelling with in him as he walked towards the school.
He set his cell phone on silent so that no one could disturb him during school hours. It was a habbit that he developed his freshman year. Oh yeah, forgot to mention that he was a Junior in High School and he was attending Konoha High.
It was hard to believe that time could pass so quickly through the years. He felt as though time was slipping through his fingers and he was having a hard time catching up with it. Sasuke couldn't grasp how old he was getting either.
Soon...in a few years, even, but soon...He would be getting older and perhaps his anki wouldn't think he was attractive anymore. What would he do then when he lost interest in Sasuke? He knew that he had abandonment issues with him - he didn't want his brother to leave him.
He couldn't...wouldn't...he wouldn't do that to Sasuke would he? He chewed on his bottom lip as he entered the classroom. He looked around and noticed that his teacher was already there.
The blond haired teacher was sitting on the rolling chair reading a book and he winced as he walked inside of the room. Only a few of the other students were there; Ino (someone he hated with a major passion) and one of his best friends from middle school, Kiba. He smiled slightly as she approached Kiba and sat near him.
There was a few minutes to wait before it was time for the class to start so he would chat with Kiba for a little bit before the bell rang. The brunette was looking tired as though he had been out partying. He usually partied during the week, but today he was just looking hideous.
He gave Sasuke a toothy grin as he sat down in his seat and yawned slightly. It had been only a few hours before that Sasuke himself had gotten any sleep only to wake up to the alarm. He ran a hand through his raven locks, ignoring the feeling of a certain blond teacher's eyes upon him.
"How was your night?" Sasuke finally asked.
"Freaking fantastic!" the brunette exclaimed and grinned at him.
"What happened?"
He knew Kiba so well - he wanted to spill the beans about what happened at the party he had at his house. Or that someone else had.
"Shikamaru had a party and everyone was there. His uncle brought six kagers in! SIX! Everyone was drunk off their asses! Someone even managed to get a few bags of weed." he said with excitement, remembering how cool it felt to be at a social party.
"Dude you should have been there. It was awesome!"
The raven haired boy chuckled as he listened intently to his friend. Perhaps he should get into the party scene. His butt was beginning to hurt as he continued to sit down in his seat, though. One could only imagine why.
"Maybe I'll go to the next party." he said with a smirk.
He could only imagine the kind of girls that would be there fawning over him. He could pick any one of them and they would be his in a blink of an eye. Oh, the wonders of being an Uchiha.
"Ahem. Today we will be starting something new." he heard the professor speaking and turned his attention to the front.
The lesson went by as a blurr as he waited for the bell to ring. This was his last class of the day and it made him egar to get home. As the bell rang he dashed for the door before Naruto could speak to him about the phone call he was going to give to his brother later.
He supposed the kid would find out sooner or later, though. So he went about his business and watched as the kids piled out of the room. Sasuke made his way quickly out of the school before anyone could catch him.
It was safe to say that Sasuke wasn't exactly the social type of person. He wondered if that was why he was in some kind of sick relationship with his brother. Who knew, though, right? It could be something completely beautiful coming together.
Only a freak would think of it like that, though.
Sasuke wasn't a freak, was he?
Walking into the house, he pulled his shoes off and headed up to his room. Before he went to the staircase, though, he could hear his brother on the phone with someone. He raised an eyebrow as he went to investigate.
"Yeah, he's been a little pre-occupied with the car accident and everything, but I've been trying to comfort him the best I can." he heard him say.
Sasuke looked at the floor. He was a burden to his brother that his brother didn't need. He hated that about himself.
He continued to listen to his conversation, trying to figure out who he was talking to. He hoped it wasn't anyone from school. He noticed the worried expressions of his english teacher today. Especially as he spoke about going to some kind of rave.
It was obvious that Sasuke was in pain, but did Itachi even really care?
He heard the phone slam on the reciever and gasped when Itachi had noticed him.
"Brother, who was that?" he asked.
"Your teacher. They said you were skipping class again..." he said as he walked towards the younger sibling.
"I can explain!" he whimpered.
"Why don't you attend your classes?"
"I just don't like being around others..." he said, and looked down, "Y-you understand, don't you anki?" he asked, bitting his lower lip.
Itachi smirked as he leaned down and pressed his lips against the younger boy's. "Of course. We'll work on it together. I promise, the pain you're feeling will soon go away."
Sasuke leaned against his chest and whimpered as Itachi's arms wrapped around him, holding him as he sobbed against his chest. Itachi knew what Sasuke was afraid of - rejection from the other students. He didn't understand why, though. Who in the world would be able to reject someone as delicious as him?
