Crazy Love

The next day late in the afternoon Gaara was making his way across the roof tops again. He could always make new sand but he put so much chakra into the sand that was in the gourd which made the sand faster and alot stronger. He stopped on the roof where him and Lee had spoken and frowned seeing his gourd was not there, but upon noticing a few dents in the roof told him Lee had moved it...and dropped it a few times. Sighing he realized he would have to sneak into the hospital to get it back.

Lee sat there staring at the gourd in the corner of the room. Gaara had to come back for that thing. It was so damn heavy and obviously important since he carried it around everywhere. But how the hell could such a small boy carry so much damn weight?? A nurse walked in and blinked seeing the gourd, "What is that?" "Uhh nothing! May I have some water?.. really cold water..." He asked. "But I have to go all the way down the cafeteria to get ice then fill it up in the drinking fountain before giving the glass to you.. can you not wait until your lunch?" She asked softly walking over and checking on his fingers and toes making sure they still worked properly. "I am really thirsty.." Lee said trying to get the nurse to go away and she sighed and nodded walking out of the room closing the door behind her.

The cork suddenly popped off the gourd and a little bit of sand moved out of it and up to the window pushing the lock up to unlock it, the sand then pushed open the window. Gaara who had used his chakra to walk up the side of the wall set his hands on the window sill as he climbed onto it only to freeze when he came face to face with Lee. He quickly leaned back but that still didn't change the fact this was the most close they had ever been to each other without trying to harm the other like in the that part of the exam.

Gaara was now really close and for some reason, it made Lee's heart rate increase, but not in fear, in something else. "You forgot your gourd last night.." He said his eyes a little wide and stunned that Gaara just came in through the window and was now litterly a mere few inches from him.

Gaara stared at him for a moment then looked down at the bed to see where Lee's legs were then awkwardly climbed onto the bed, he then leapt off it and landed beside the bed backing up right away to get space between them. "Uh...I...well..." He trailed off not really sure what to say to the older male.

"Stay and talk this time..?" Lee asked softly as he moved a little on the bed and smiled at Gaara. "And hope you do not take my jokes as insults," He added with a happy laugh.

The redhead stared at him blankly and glanced back at the door to check if it was closed before moving over closer to his gourd. "I did plenty of talking in this room before to your friends.." He replied.

"You did?" Lee asked blinking. "Wait.. why were you in my room before?" The leaf ninja asked curiously. 'Just get the gourd and let's go. This fucking creeps me out.. he is.. nice.. and.. determined. We tried to kill him three times and still comes back to talk. I am starting to think he wants us to kill him or something and that is no fun unless they are screaming and running away.' Shukaku ranted on.

"I was here to kill you before." Gaara said bluntly and folded his arms over his chest. He never saw the point in lying so the sand ninja could be pretty blunt at times. 'I don't understand him either...why is he so nice?'

"Oh.. well that is not nice.." Lee said frowning then grinned and pointed to a chair by his bed. "Sit!" He said happily, "I want to talk to you. Why are you so intent on killing an opponent that is no longer on the same ninja field as you?" Lee asked softly. '. . .Fucking crazy I swear.. I do not know.. Just come on, let's go before a nurse comes in. It will be a full moon tonight and I am not in the mood to deal with pathetic humans yelling at us..'

Gaara tilted his head a little and thought about it for a moment, maybe this could be amusing. He moved to the chair and sat down his arms still folded over his chest, he kept his face expressionless as he watched Lee closely.

'What the hell are you doing???? You are going to talk to the crazy kid?!?!?!' Shukaku asked his host whining more and now padding around inside of his cage. "Um.. well.. how are you enjoying being in the leaf?" Lee asked after a moment.

Gaara winced a little and shook his head. 'Your giving me another head ach.' He thought to his demon then looked back at Lee and simply shrugged to his question.

'Well excuse me for not wanting to be in the same room as a ninja who was very close to hitting us before and could easily call the anbu in the hospital up here! God you never fucking listen to me. I mean hell, this is no fun at all! Can't we attack the village yet?? I want to come out now!! Why do we have to wait for the specific day! I mean, I could kill this whole village tonight during the full moon easily..' Shukaku ranted on complaining to his host while growling. 'I am so damn hungry! You have barely fed me since we have gotten here! It has been almost a week since I last got blood!!!' Lee's smile faltered. 'He does not like talking much..' He thought to himself but tried to keep his smile bright. "Uhh.. do you like food? I could order something.. or if you are thirsty.."

Gaara lifted a hand to knot it in his hair his demon giving him his normal head achs. "I think the nurses would freak at the sight of me.." He said back and winced again, couldn't his demon go through at least one day without bugging him?

Lee blinked and then brought his head down a little bit trying to see Gaara's face. "I am sorry are you ok? Am I giving you a head ache? I could ask the nurses for aspirin and take it from them from the door so they do not come in.." Lee said a little worried about the redhead. It was natural for him to care about another human being, no matter who they were. That was just Lee's personality. 'Host you are pissing me off.. I just want a snack at least...' Shukaku murmured out under his breath in Gaara's thoughts. He had been trying to convince him since yesterday and it still was not working.

Gaara shook his head and narrowed his eyes at Lee a little. "You were asleep so you missed what was said that time I came in here...I'm a Jinchuuriki know what that is?" He asked. 'Lets see how long his nice act holds up when he learns the truth...then he react like everyone else.' He thought gripping his hair tighter.

"Jinchuuriki? No... I do not know what that is.." Lee stated and shifted a little to sit closer to Gaara but froze and scooted back when he noticed sand move up since Shukaku did not want him closer. 'The freak will probably never bother us again then..' Shukaku stated happily.

Gaara bit his lip then watched his sand move up then back down, he was used to his demon doing that...Shukaku would out of boredum block leafs from landing on him. "A Jinchuuriki is someone who has a demon inside them...I have Shukaku the one tail inside me...still want to be my friend?" He asked bitterly and moved to stand up to get his gourd and leave.

"So?" Lee stated tilting his head. "That really means nothing. Naruto has a demon inside of him.. we are not allowed to talk about it.. but he does.. and he is still my friend." Lee stated. '. . .Just kill him.. please shut him up! This person is diffidently trying to trick us! I mean really? He expects us to think he is ok with me being here?? Most people run and scream! This guy and idiot!!'

Gaara's eyes widened and he stared at the leaf ninja in front of him. "...Your crazy...there is no way you can be comfortable around a demon carrier..." He said and walked over to his gourd kneeling down to attach it to the long brown strap around him. He looped his sash around it then moved to the window setting his knee on the bed as he pushed it opened wider.

"Hey do not leave! I am ok with it! I never judge people!" Lee yelled out. 'Jump out the window now.. please..' Shukaku said whimpering. He was actually saying please. He just wanted to get away from the weird ninja and go get blood.

"That cannot be true! I don't understand you.. I try and kill you yet you still speak so kindly...I tell you I have a demon inside me and you act as if I am talking about the weather. Aren't you scared of me? I broke your limbs! You could never be a ninja again...how can you act like this I don't get it.." Gaara blinked realizing that was the most he had ever said to the leaf ninja and stayed at the end of the bed wincing when he felt a pain in his heart.

"Because.. I do not hold grudges one.. two Do not say that! I will be a ninja! I do not care what the nurses are saying! I am going to recover perfectly fine and I believe in myself! Understood?" Lee yelled out and looked at Gaara. "And you have a demon in you, big deal. That does not change who you really are on the inside and I see good in you!" Lee yelled out then brought his voice down when he heard a nurse trying to unlock the door. "Lee-san are you alright? Why are you yelling?" His nurse asked from the other side of the door.

Gaara was silent and shocked; no one had ever said that to him. He tensed when he heard the nurse at the door and hopped onto the bed carefully stepping over Lee and moving to where he was standing on the window sill. 'W-What is going on...how can someone see something in me that I don't see myself...I'm not good...I have killed to much.' He thought.

'Ignore him.. he is just trying to get into our head, now leave the nurse is going to go get the key..' Shukaku growled out now being more angry then he was before. Lee on the other hand moved over. "Do not leave.. come back and talk to me tomorrow.. Please.. You may not like it but I enjoy talking to you.. even if you get mad with me.." Lee said looking at Gaara with slightly pleading eyes.

Gaara stared at the older male and turned on the window sill so he was facing him, but before he could reply a really strong breeze blew by and made Gaara lose his balance, he tried to simply step on the bed but his gourd made him lean forward and he ended up landing with his knees on ether side of Lee's waist. Gaara was so surprised by suddenly be so close to someone he froze up.

Lee turned bright red but then winced when the pain from his leg him hit. "U-Umm.. G-Gaara-kun what are you doing..?" The leaf ninja asked awkwardly not able to move since Gaara was pretty heavy with his gourd on. 'Get off of him now! You do not land on people like that off off now! Turn to sand do something!!!' Shukaku yelled freaking out now running around in circles in Gaara's head.

Gaara snapped out of his shock and was about to move to get up when the sound of a key being pushed into the lock of the door was heard. Panicking the redhead turned to sand when the door opened leaving Lee alone in the room.

The nurse stared confused at Lee. He was flushed and sitting halfway up, just staring in shock forward. "Lee-san, are you alright?" She asked walking over and placed her hand on his forehead. The leaf ninja took a gulp and nodded to her. After she left he thought to himself, 'My heart started beating so fast...' Then another thought chimed in his inner Lee, 'He was really warm.' 'Gah no what am I thinking. Ok he probably won't come and see me.. maybe I need to see him..' Lee thought and got up getting his crutch. He let the nurses know he was going out for a bit and walked outside. "Where would he be..?" He glanced over to a roof top and sighed noticing the redhead wasn't on any of them and started walking down the alley way.

Gaara was sitting on a fence and was rubbing his elbow, a old habit he thought he had lost when he was a kid. It had been years since he was so close to someone, he wasn't able to feel anything thanks to his armor but he oddly could still remember the others scent. He shook his head and kept rubbing his elbow feeling awkward. 'That was so strange..'

'You are never to get that close to anyone ever again unless you are harming them! Got it?!' Shukaku yelled still freaking out inside of Gaara's head. Lee on the other hand finally saw Gaara and his heart beat picked up again. 'I do not want him to run away again..' He thought but moved over carefully and squeaked out, "Uhh.. Gaara...?"

Gaara gripped his head from his demon yelling and didn't notice the older male at first. "Ow...Shukaku your to loud.." He said not realizing he had said it out loud and gripped his hair a little. 'I'm not gonna let him get that close! ...That freaked me out I am not used to that. Stop hurting my head I'll get you your blood tonight...see the sun is going to set pretty soon.' He thought to his demon and closed his eyes. He was not looking forward to tonight, he would be even more un stable and it would be harder to control Shukaku. When it was a full moon Shukaku got even more blood thirsty and violent, the demon would cause his host even more pain if his demands weren't met.

Lee coughed a little bit trying to get Gaara to stop spacing. He was just sitting there gripping his head and occasionally saying things out loud. 'Then let us go now..there should be some nice people over in that area. I want to be on that roof!' Shukaku yelled, oddly sounding like a little kid demanding his parent of something. "Uhh.. G-Gaara?!" Lee said a little louder.

Gaara blinked and looked at Lee his eyes widening a little. "How did you find me?" He asked in monotone. How did they keep running into each other like this? Was this some weird ass fate? The redhead sighed but kept his hands on his head since it was still hurting.

"I was trying to find you.. umm... you accidently did that earlier right..?" Lee asked softly looking at the ground. 'Fucking leave him be, I want blood now.. leave him.. do not answer his question and just turn to sand, now!' The demon spat out now anxious and irritated.

Gaara gripped his head tighter and moved off the fence landing a few yards from Lee. "I always avoid human touch...so yes it was a accident.." Gaara said and shook his head trying to clear it. 'Not now..'

Lee moved over to Gaara. "Are you ok..? You always are holding your head alot.. do you get migraines alot..?" Lee asked softly a little concerned. Shukaku growled out and became even louder so the headache would get worse. 'Now is not the time! I want blood now!' he practically spat out, pacing in the cage.

"Aah!..Stop already.." Gaara muttered and gripped even tighter on his head. 'Your not getting it now! Your making me look weak in front of him.' He thought and closed his eyes tightly. This was sadly normal for Shukaku to do.

"Gaara..?" Lee felt concerned and reached his good hand up going to touch the redhead but sand smacked his hand away more harshly this time, scratching passed his bandages. 'For fucks sake, I will kill him if you do not make him go away!!!' Shukaku growled out even more angry and anxious, the sun was almost down and he was starting to get even more anxious to just get his blood.

"Shukaku stop it!" Gaara finely yelled the pain starting to really get to him. He opened his eyes realizing what he yelled and glanced at Lee his eyes widening seeing his hand was bleeding. "I..didn't want to do that.." He said under his breath and moved away from the leaf ninja before his sand could harm him again.

Lee forced a smile and rested the bleeding arm on his casted one. "No no.. that was my fault.. I should not have tried to touch you.." Then Lee added, "Umm.. is your demon acting up..? Maybe you should go away from the village for a bit if he is.." Growling Shukaku continued to pace occasionally hitting the cage. 'I will not stop it.. fucking get away from him and either get me blood or let me out and I will get my own!' The bit of blood from Lee that had soaked into the sand was now just causing more of a problem. Shukaku was now unhappy. He had a taste of blood now and he wanted more.

Gaara flinched from his demon and looked at the ground. "I...aah! D-Damn it...Yes he is acting up...you better get your hand wrapped up." Gaara forced out and formed a sign disappearing in a swirl of sand. That night Dosu a sound ninja who worked for Orochimaru ended up trying to fight the sand ninja and Gaara let his demon kill him...at lest for the time being Shukaku was calm.

Lee had gone back to the hospital and the nurses freak and fixed his arm up and now he sat outside staring up at the nice sky. "I want to be able to help him..." Lee breathed out and let his eyes close enjoying the warmth of the sun. 'Thank you host... hmm can we go check on the Uchiha..?' Shukaku asked calmly to Gaara relaxed and happy with how much blood he had gotten the night before.
