A Rivial

Once they reached the training field he let his smile come over his face. "Hello everyone, Glad to see you all again."

Naruto grinned and patted the spot next to him and Gaara walked over and sat down. Sakura and the girls all giggled and waved at Riku, though the only girl who wasn't drooling over him was Ino who was sitting next to Chouji.

Riku grinned and walked over taking Sakura's hand and kissing it, "Nice to see you again..." He said to her then to Hinata and Tenten. When he noticed Ino was not fan girling he blinked 'Strange.. they usually do.. hmm..' He studied her for a minute then walked over. "I hope we can be friends, even though you seem to hate me sometimes.." He said with a wide smile. Ino blinked and nodded to him then looked over to Gaara. "How are you?" she said a bit happily. "We have not seen you here in a long time!" She then added. Neji looked Riku up and down then leaned over whispering to Lee. "I do not ever like the looks of this guys.." Lee was going to respond but Riku turned around. "I am sorry if you do not approve of me but I hope in due time you will. It has already been so long.." Lee blinked, Riku was acting nicer then he was earlier. What was up with this guy?

Shikamaru sighed wishing Temari was there and laid back on the grass. Gaara blinked and turned so he could talk to Ino better. "I'm fine.. I have been busy, being Kazekage and all." He said and Sakura looked over at him. "Wow Gaara-kun you look different." She said smiling at him and the leader frowned a little at her.

"Je ne veux pas ces gens autour de Gaara..." (Note: I do not like these people around Gaara...) Riku uttered while walking over and sitting down close to the redhead. Lee blinked at how close they were and sighed softly to himself sitting down. "Yeah.. He does look different.." Lee accidentally said out loud causing everyone to look to him.

Gaara tilted his head looking a little confused and Naruto looked at the redhead. "You got like a inch taller, still short though." Naruto said smirking earning a glare from the sand ninja. TenTen laughed and whispered to Ino. "Who would have thought Gaara would get cute." And giggled making Chouji roll his eyes. "Are we gonna play the game now or what?" Sakura asked pouting. "Yeah, yeah we are hold on!" Naruto said and opened a box handing everyone a soda and a bag of chips.

Riku looked at the soda and set it down. "That stuff is bad for you..." He commented and opened the bag of chips eating a few. 'He bugs me..' Lee thought to himself then grinned. "Thanks Naruto-kun." He said. "Soo.. what game do you guys wanna play?" The former anbu asked stretching out then wrapping an arm around Gaara.

Kitty:
Gaara lifted his arm and elbowed the taller male and scooted closer to the blond beside him. "Ooh rejected." Naruto said and laughed. Shikamaru raised a eye brow and sat up. "Still trying Riku?" He asked and handed a note to the Kazekage. "Can you give this to Temari for me?" The redhead took the note and slipped it into his vest and nodded. "Duh truth and dare." Sakura said.

Riku winced then nodded pouting a bit, "But Gaara is always so cruel as you guys know~" He teased out then messed up Gaara's hair and leaned back on the spot he was in. "Truth in dare is fine with me as long as it doesn't end up like last time." Lee was now confused, why were everyone so, ok with him. And how did they seem to already know him. "Has Riku been to the village before...?" Lee asked and he noticed that Ino and Neji both fell silent and looked down. Then Kiba ran up with Akamaru at his side, "H-hey guys sorry I was la- Oh what is up Riku?" He asked in mid speech. Riku shrugged, "The usual," he said simply. Lee was starting to get irritated now, everyone did know him already. "How many times has he been here?!" He suddenly spat out feeling betrayed by his friends. This time Kiba fell silent with the others as Lee shot daggers at his blond friend who obviously knew something.

Naruto sweat dropped and coughed. "Well uhh..random times through out the year." He said and Gaara looked down then closed his eyes, the blond was the only one besides Riku and his siblings that knew what happened between him and Lee. Sakura set her hands on her hips and frowned. "Whats the big deal? Can we play already?"

"No thanks I will pass... I do not want to play anymore.." Lee then got up to leave but Riku was already next to him stopping him. "Hey come on, can't we all just have a bit of fun?" Then he lowered his voice so only Lee could hear, "you leaving will just upset Gaara.. and if you upset him I swear..." Lee pulled out of the other man's grip. Ugh he just wanted to punch his face in at the moment. Something about Riku made him want to go crazy with anger. But he forced a fake grin, "Fine, but only one round." Then both males returned to their seats.

Gaara opened his eyes to glance at Lee then looked back at the grass, he felt a arm around his shoulders and looked up to see his best friend smiling at him. "Alright who wants to go first? I vote Kiba since he was late!" Naruto said loudly and opened his bag of chips and started eating. Shikamaru set his elbow on his knee and rested his chin in his hand. "This game is really troublesome." He said and sighed.

Shino who was keeping quiet finally said, "you guys never pick me..." and leaned closer into the tree he was sitting by. Kiba plopped down next to Lee and Akamaru laid down and barked. Lee sighed softly really not wanting to play truth or dare but what the hell. "Alright then Naruto ask me truth or dare," Kiba said while stealing Lee's bag of chips the black haired man not even seeming to care.

Hinata sweat dropped and look at Shino. "S-Sorry Shino-kun but your so silent that we forget your t-there..maybe if you spoke more." She said and TenTen giggled. "Ok truth or dare Kiba?" He asked and leaned a little on the Kazekage who didn't mind at all.

Riku glared at Naruto behind his back but made sure he was still smiling when Naruto glanced at him. "Gah le mien.." ( Note: Gah Mine ) He gently pulled Gaara away from Naruto so he wasn't leaning on him then relaxed more. Lee seemed to glare daggers at Riku not liking him touch Gaara. 'Why am I getting so upset about him..?' He thought to himself in his mind. Kiba grinned to his blond friend, "I choose dare as always man you know that."

Gaara blinked and frowned at the taller male then folded his arms again. "I dare you to- hey!" Naruto complained and pouted at Riku. "Ok I dare you to sing a song about Akamaru." He said and everyone laughed.

Riku shrugged acting like he didn't understand what Naruto was complaining about and scooted close into Gaara so their sides were touching. "Um ok, uhh, ooohhh Akamaru you are the best dog ever! You are big and white and fluffy and have a nice bark, ooohh~ There?" Kiba said laughing at his own silly song. Lee sighed to himself and hugged his knees looking at Gaara and Riku. 'Why is he so close to him..? Why is Gaara only just kind of pushing him away and not getting angry like he normaly does to people being so close to him...' He thought to himself.

"Ok pick someone Kiba." Naruto said and sweat dropped when Gaara pushed Riku over and glared at him. "You keep getting in my space stop it." Gaara said and scooted closer to Naruto to put more room between him and the other sand ninja. Everyone laughed again all used to Gaara reacting like this.

Lee was the only one not laughing understanding Gaara really was getting upset about Riku. 'He is such a jerk why can he not just let Gaara be? No no no stop thinking like that bad Lee...' He thought to himself then noticed Kiba asked Sakura and then a truth was told then it was Sakura's turn. Exactly who would she choose?

Naruto reached over into the box and throw a soda to Kiba and Sakura cleared her throat. "Ok Riku-kun truth or dare?" She asked and grinned. Gaara picked up his soda and opened it getting a annoyed look when it hissed and soda came out of the can and onto his hand. "Haha that's unlucky." Naruto said laughing.

"Hmm I guess I will choose dare," He stated simply and leaned back relaxing. Lee picked up his soda and started to drink from it. 'Come on Sakura-chan...give him a horrible dare...no Lee do not think that way you can not think mean thing upon a person... but.. damn I really really want to..." He thought.

"Oook I dare you to kiss Gaara!" Sakura said and all the girls giggled and the Kazekage's jaw dropped. "W-Wha?" He said and Naruto sweat dropped. 'Why Sakura why??' He thought and everyone fell silent to see what Riku was going to do.

The other sand ninja seemed overly happy to oblige to the dare. He moved and grabbed Gaara's head turning it back to face him before crashing his lips into the redhead's. He wanted to keep kissing but when he heard a soda can get crushed in someone's hand he pulled back. "Cela était un bon baiser..." (Note: That was a good kiss... ) He whispered out to Gaara then looked over to see Lee was the one who had crushed his soda. When the leaf ninja saw that Riku kissed Gaara all his anger went into his hands and he clenched them forgetting the soda was in his hand causing it to crush and spill soda all over his hand and the floor. 'I will kill him!!!' The inner Lee yelled as he growled and dropped the can shaking his hand clean of the sticky liquid. Ino seemed concerned and pulled out a small towel and a her water bottle walking over and helping Lee clean off. "Are you ok..?" She asked him and he looked away embarrassed that he was letting his emotions get to him. "Yes, I am sorry that was not youthful of me to ruin your game... Thank you Ino-san..."

Gaara had been so shocked he had froze but the can being crushed snapped him out of it and he turned red and jumped up and away from the older male. "R-Riku!! What the hell!" He yelled and Naruto raised a eye brow at Lee wondering why he did that then had to move as a sand wall formed between Gaara and Riku. Sakura blushed and then clapped a hand over her mouth as she laughed. Shikamaru sighed knowing the yelling was going to begin since every time he went to Suna Riku would always hit on Gaara and the Kazekage would always get mad at him.

"Oh come on Gaara is was a dare," Riku got up and moved around the sand wall. "You can not be mad at me for that one however... this one if you wish to you can," Riku leaned in once more to Gaara and Lee stood up abruptly. He clenched his fists again and spun around on his heels starting to storm off.

Gaara jumped away and glared at the older male. "R-RIKU! Keep this up and I will hide your cigarettes!" Gaara yelled and Naruto frowned at Riku but stood up and went after Lee and grabbed his arm. "What is with you?" Naruto whispered and stepped in front of his friend.

Demon:
In the background of the two friends Riku glared at Gaara. "You would not dare! If you do I will never forgive you! Les Japonais stupides ! Vous êtes si têtu ! Dieu pourquoi vous peut ne comprend pas juste que je veux à la baiser vous et l'accepte ! M'accepter!" (Note: Stupid Japanese! You are so stubborn! God why can you not just understand that I want to fuck you and accept it! Accept me!) Lee ignored the man in the back ranting and looked into Naruto's eyes. "I do not know..." He let out a sigh and let his hand run through his hair. "I wish I know what is up but I do not.. just let me be... please?" He asked his friend in a pleading tone.

"Speak English! Stop ranting to me in French! I have no idea what your saying!" Gaara said and glared at the older male and everyone laughed. "Bushy-brows...I'm your friend, and as your friend I don't want you to be alone. Here let's go on a walk I can always hang out with redhead later." Naruto said and grabbed his friends arm and pulled him away from the group.

Lee could still hear Riku yelling at Gaara in French but it grew fainter and fainter until he couldn't hear it. He sighed not wanting to fight with Naruto allowing him to drag him on a walk. "I do not know what is wrong... I just...I keep freaking out... I really would like to be alone... at least until tomorrow..." He uttered out staring at the ground as they walked.

Naruto winced worried about his friend and kept dragging him along. "Sorry Lee I don't want you upset so your stuck with me, lets go get ramen! I'm sure you skipped lunch to come hang out with everyone." He said and grinned at his friend.
