Final

So here's the last chapter to Finally Wanted. I wrote it the way I felt it was best to. I didn't want to focus on Naruto's captivity, instead I wanted to go through what Kisame, Itachi, and Sasuke felt. It was amazing to write and I had with it. I hope you guys can enjoy it as well. I may end up writing a Fugaku/Minato prequel.

~*~

The first thing Naruto was aware of was something he had never been fond of and immediately wanted it to go away. But the pounding in his head persisted and he groaned as he buried his head further into a very plump pillow, his eyes clenching shut tightly as his hand curled around the fabric he had hostage. He didn’t want to wake up and meet the day, he wanted to laze around with his lovers and have them pamper him. It was an idea he loved as he nuzzled the thigh under under his face.

“Kisame,” he groaned as he tried to open his eyes but shut them again as the harsh sunlight filtered through the windows and attempted to tunnel through his eyelids.

The deep chuckle that followed had Naruto sitting up straight, migraine be damned as his blue eyes snapped open and he stared in shock at a man who was the exact copy of him if Naruto were in his forties and was starting to gray at the temples. The lines around the darker blue eyes were not from laughing, that much the younger man could tell. They were lines of worry and desperation.

Naruto didn’t how to feel, his father was sitting right in front of him, propped up by pillows as an easy, tentative smile spread across full lips. He was torn apart on the inside as his father spoke, he wanted to hit the man, he wanted to cry, but most of all he wanted answers as to why he had been abandoned.

“I’ve been called many things, but never Kisame,” his father’s voice was still the same as he spoke, a deep rumble that came from his chest. “Who is he?”

Naruto couldn’t answer the question, he was so overwhelmed, he had missed it. “I’m dead aren’t I?” He whispered, tears stinging at his eyes as he reached out and touched his father.

There was another chuckle as his father answered, “no, you’re very much alive, even though you look like shit.”

“I thought...you..” Naruto couldn’t speak, his mind was jumbled still and he couldn’t grasp the words to form the questions he had wanted to ask. His father was sitting right in front of him and he felt like a dumbass. The man who had abandoned him when he was five was here and alive. He was confused as to why.

“It’s a long story, Sunshine. I’m afraid we both have all the time in the world now. I had hoped that Yahiko would never get his hands on you, it’s why we placed you by the dumpster that day. “Did Fugaku ever find you?”

“Papa Fu?” Naruto asked, he had never known his other father’s true name, just the nickname he had for him. It hadn’t been helpful when he was searching for his parents. “He never showed up...”

Minato sighed at the admission, he was afraid to ask how his little one had grown up. It was something he didn’t want to hear since Yahiko had told him his son was missing all those years ago and that he was most likely dead. To see the young man before him eased part of his aching heart, seeing Naruto healthy and well dressed had soothed him as well.

“I’m sorry, Naruto, that day was never supposed to happen like that,” Minato’s voice was drained as he rubbed his temples. “Kushina and I were finally getting the divorce we always wanted so Fugaku and I could finally be together and she could travel the world without having someone aiming a gun at her head. But things...they went south quickly.”

Naruto wasn’t sure if he was up to hear about that day, especially since it seemed that he had been abandoned like he had originally thought. “Let’s not talk about that, kay?”

His father only nodded his head as Naruto asked another question, “was I kidnapped?”

“Yes, you were grabbed yesterday, why?” Minato asked curiously, cocking his head to the side.

“Itachi’s gonna be pissed, Kisame’s gonna take heads and who knows what the fuck Sasuke will do,” Naruto groaned as he buried his face in his hands. He knew they’d be furious at Jiraiya for leaving him at the store alone and was worried what they would do to him.

“Friends of yours?” Minato asked even though he had a feeling that those three men were his sons lovers. It was no secret that they were involved and he had heard a rumor they had acquired a new blond lover who they protected fiercely. It really didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out the puzzle.

“Lovers,” Naruto answered, his face bright red as his father laughed loudly. “What’re ya laughin’ for? They’re gonna kill me! And I just started tutoring so I could get my GED. Hah, I wish Kurama was still alive. He’d be busting my ass outta here.”

“Kurama the Nine Tails? How do you know him? Why don’t you have a diploma?” Minato was scared of the answer his son would give him if he answered at all. So far Naruto hadn’t asked questions, but that could change in a blink of an eye, especially if the young man was anything like Kushina.

“He found me waiting for you one day and took me in,” Naruto shrugged, not looking at his father. The questions were on the tip of his tongue, but this wasn’t the right time to ask them.

“Why am I here?” That was a safe question and one that had been burning in his pain filled head. The headache hadn’t subsided at all and it was grating on his nerves.

“Yahiko, or Pein, as he’s the one in charge right now, wants me to behave and in finding you alive, he now has the means.” Minato’s voice was full of regret and a slight hint of fear. “The man who kidnapped you has a multiple personality disorder. Unfortunately, Yahiko doesn’t have much control these day.”

“I wouldn’t care if he were a cripple! That man is gonna be sorry,” Naruto growled, his old street personality surfacing at the thought that he was going to be used to keep his father in line.

“It’s not entirely his fault, Naruto.” Minato pointed out as he pinched his nose between his fingers. “I’m afraid I didn’t help at all, not with the way Fugaku handled things.”

“What does Papa Fu have to do with it?” Naruto was curious as to why his second father would have had an influence on Pein. He had adored the man and always looked forward to his visits.

“He gloated in Yahiko’s face that I had chosen him in the end and he didn’t take it well I’m afraid,” was the sad answer. “I punched Fu for it, but the damage was already done.”

“So he’s pissed he couldn’t have you?” Naruto asked, eyes wide as he studied his father’s serious expression. “They why’d he drag me here?”

“Insurance,” was all his father said as the older man looked away. The expression in Minato’s eyes was enough for Naruto to drop the subject as he snuggled into his father’s side and fell asleep, his mind not slowing down.

~*~

Kisame was a man known for his impatience and when it came to those he loved, he was downright ruthless. His career wasn’t glamorous or ideal but he was damned good at what he did and didn’t let anything interrupt his work. With Naruto missing, most likely in Pein’s clutches, he had made it his personal mission to hunt the man down and retrieve his lover’s location.

Itachi and Sasuke weren’t taking the absence of Naruto very well either, but their contacts kept coming up empty handed, so Kisame had seen fit to utilize some of the ones he had made over the years. He was calling in favors that were decades old and so far they only turned up small bits of information over the past two weeks.

He knew for certain Pein had Naruto, he was able to confirm that right off the bat. The only question he needed answered was where their lover was being kept. It seemed no one knew and no matter how dirty and nasty Kisame got, no one was talking. It irritated him on a whole new level as he tried to figure out how to retrieve Naruto.

But since he had acquired Konan, Pein’s right hand woman, Kisame knew it would only be a matter of time before he had Naruto’s location. He would give her a small reprieve from the torture and questioning. Kisame didn’t discriminate when it came to his job. He was given orders and he followed them right down to the last letter. He was a man of his word and he’d promise Sasuke and Itachi he would do whatever it took to bring their lover back.

As Kisame entered the apartment, he noticed how silent it was. Ever since Naruto was taken three weeks ago, their home wasn’t the same. Sasuke was taking the kidnapping the hardest, having just formed a bond with Naruto. He would not allow Kisame or even Itachi touch him as long as their youngest lover was missing. It was a bad situation, but Kisame was closer to finding Naruto.

Itachi was waiting for him in the kitchen, a mug of hot tea sitting between his hands. He was staring down at the tea as though it held the answer he was seeking. His hands tightened when Kisame moved behind him and began to knead the knotted shoulders. Itachi was carrying too much stress and he wouldn’t relax, spending his time searching for Naruto. He had taken an indefinite leave off work, an oddity for him as he liked to micro manage his company.

“Have you broken her?” He asked in a small voice, moaning softly when Kisame worked out one of the larger knots.

“I’m close,” Kisame rumbled in answer, he hated discussing his line of work in their home where it had no place, but it couldn’t be helped as Naruto was their number one priority.

“He’s probably giving Pein hell right now,” Itachi said with a wry smile. “I don’t think Pein will handle him all that well.”

“Heh, no. He’ll be paying us to take Naruto back if he’s being his normal self,” was the fond response as Kisame stopped his massage, having worked out all the kinks in Itachi’s back and wrapping his large arms around thin shoulders.

“He will pay with his life, Kisame,” Itachi promised. “For taking him away from us.”

“Your father will have dibs, I’m afraid. Konan let a piece of crucial information out and you’re not going to like it.” Kisame knew he had to share this with Itachi, they had to plan accordingly, it wasn’t just Naruto’s life on the line now. He wasn’t sure how Itachi and Sasuke would takes the news, let alone Fugaku. He was the only man Kisame had ever feared.

“What’s the information, Kisame? You know better than to stall,” Itachi warned, his voice low, nearly gritty with irritation. His trouble with sleeping had finally caught up to him and his nerves were dwindling with each day Naruto was gone.

“Minato is still alive, Pein has kept him captive for these past two decades.” Kisame rumbled, noticing how Itachi stiffened under his hands. He knew the news was a huge blow and Kisame couldn’t imagine how it felt to find out someone who you thought was dead, was actually alive.

“I will inform Father, I would not want you to suffer the wrath that is bound to happen. Pein will not be hiding much longer when I deliver this news. Father will upturn every stone until both Naruto and Minato are found,” Itachi promised, knowing his words were true as he spoke them. Fugaku’s wrath was legendary and when it was directed at an individual, nothing would stop him.

“Minato?” Sasuke queried as he stepped into the kitchen, a towel resting around his shoulders. He walked further into the room and greeted Kisame with a quick kiss before giving Itachi one as well.

“He’s alive,” Itachi answered, watching his brother’s expression sour at the news.

“It’ll give him the edge he needs to find them both. I’m sure wherever Minato is, Naruto is right beside him. How do we break this to Father?” Sasuke asked as he was pulled into Itachi’s lap, his brother nuzzling his neck with his nose.

“I will tell him what Kisame has found. There is no reason for you or Kisame to be present. You two have been working hard these past two weeks, go rest.” Itachi said, squeezing Sasuke’s middle as a hand reached for Kisame’s large one on his shoulder. “I’ll join you once I’ve talked to Father.”

“Itachi...we can’t rest, not when Naruto is still out there.” Sasuke protested, trying to move out of his brother’s embrace. He was held firmly though, the arms around him pulling him back to his lap.

“We are no good to him if we are running ragged. If there is a clue and we miss it, I would never forgive myself. And I know you would feel the same. Kisame isn’t even arguing with me,” Itachi pointed out nodding his head to their other lover who had nodded his head in agreement with Itachi.

“He’s right, Sasuke. If we’re not resting, we are no use to Naruto.” Kisame’s voice was strained, his mind warring with itself. Every instinct he had screamed for him to scour the city for Naruto, to find him and bring him home. He wanted to smother Naruto and keep him in the house, never to leave again.

“Fine, but we only rest for the afternoon.” Sasuke’s voice held no room for argument as he stood, the towel falling to the floor as he bent down to press his lips against Itachi’s lips. Kisame followed after him, having given his own kiss to Itachi.

A few minutes later, the closing of the front door could be heard and both men knew Itachi was gone. When it came to Fugaku Uchiha and his wrath, Itachi was the only one who could curb his temper. Minato had been able to do it just by a simple kiss, but those days were long gone or so everyone had thought. Kisame knew the story of Fugaku and Minato like the back of his hand, having been with the Uchiha family since he was a teenager. Kisame wasn’t young, but he hadn’t quite reached that old age feeling just yet.

Fugaku Uchiha had found him on a cold night, taken him in and given him a purpose. Itachi had been seven when Kisame was brought back to the Uchiha home, eyes wide and curious at the new stranger who was so much darker than he was. A chuckle left Kisame’s lips as he remembered the question that had left his lover’s lips back then, asking him if he had been made of chocolate. The laugh that had escaped him all those years ago bad been booming and the first he had in months.

Kisame’s father had kicked him out of the house, he had never known the reason and never sought him out after leaving with a few meager possessions. Kisame hadn’t been one for school with his cruel streak and independance. He had never seen the reason to learn what was being taught and had skipped class more often than he had attended. He had slipped through the cracks, the teachers not caring as long he wasn’t there disturbing their classrooms.

When Fugaku had taken him under his wing, he had immediately been placed under a tutor. Kisame had tried to argue, but the Uchiha patriarch had been adamant about his education. He had never argued after that, going through the classes and passing whatever tests were given to him. Kisame knew that it would reflect badly on Fugaku if he had an uneducated member of his syndicate. He had never hated the man for that, in fact, he had been treated like a third son under the man. It had never ceased to amaze him what mercy Fugaku could have while Minato had been in his life.

Stepping into the bedroom, Kisame shred his shirt and threw into the hamper that was by the door. Their laundry was piling up by the day as they kept up their search for Naruto, none of them having touch it since it meant taking away from scouring the city for the missing man. Kisame had never thought he could love another like he did Sasuke and Itachi.

Sasuke was already on the bed, stretched out as he read a book. It was the first time he wasn’t glancing at a computer screen or barking orders at someone. It was a change from the rush of the past two weeks, a welcomed distraction even though Kisame knew Sasuke’s mind would still be on Naruto. With the information from Konan, they were certain Pein wouldn’t kill their lover, that he would be alive for a bit longer. Time was a fickle thing and the situation they found themselves in, it could go either way.

Pushing the thoughts away, Kisame climbed onto the bed and flipped Sasuke over, not caring as the other man protested as his book fell to the floor with a dull thud. He swept down and took the warm lips in a searing kiss, pulling Sasuke closer to his body. Kisame could feel Sasuke through their clothes, the warmth of his skin seeping into his body as he pushed his tongue deep into the other’s cavern.

It had been so since it was the two of them like this, Naruto having been first priority since he had been accepted into their home. Kisame had missed the feel of Sasuke’s slight frame against his own, the way his lips felt against his and how he would fight him for dominance. Itachi was more than willing to give up control, Kisame loved that about him.

The way Sasuke fought him was thrilling, it made Kisame’s blood boil as he fought the other man down. Even now, Sasuke was fighting as he tried to invade his mouth. The effort was thwarted when Kisame applied more pressure, making his lover back down and give control to him. Large hands grasped the edge of Sasuke’s lounge pants, pulling them down until nothing but skin was bare.

“I’ve missed seeing you like this,” Kisame rumbled against soft lips before nibbling a lower lip. Sasuke had always been handsome, he didn’t possess the same beauty Itachi had, and Kisame loved that about him. The brothers were so different from each other and provided him with what he needed when one couldn’t fill his desires.

“I’ve missed this as well,” Sasuke answered, breath hitching when a hand moved towards his groin. They were fighting the lust between them, not wanting to do this while Naruto was still missing. They had sworn off sex until Naruto was found, so far they had stuck to the rule.

“It doesn’t feel right,” Kisame said, burying his face into Sasuke’s neck, the desire dwindling as he thought of Naruto. “He’s not at the door knocking just to be a little shit.”

“It’s too quiet without him, it’s like he’s...”

“Don’t you dare utter those words, Sasuke. We will get him back soon. Konan is close to cracking and she will give us the answer we seek. I know you’re not patient, hell neither am I, but we have to tread carefully if we want to bring him back alive,” Kisame said, placing a hand over Sasuke’s mouth. “I will bring him back for us.”

Sasuke could only nod as the hand was removed and Kisame rolled off him, the mood killed by the fact that Naruto wasn’t at their door pestering them just so Itachi could drag him away. They knew he done it just to get that particular reaction from Itachi and it was amusing. They were incomplete without him there lighting up their day.

“I just...we were bonding, finally he trusted me. I didn’t even get to tell him how much I love him,” Sasuke whispered, burying his face into Kisame’s large chest as he clutched an arm.

“I know, Sasuke. I’m sure he knows how much you love him. Sometimes actions are better than words and you’ve more than made up for what happened.” Kisame wasn’t that great at offering reassurance, that was Itachi’s territory when it came to Sasuke. He offered physical comfort better than words since he wasn’t one for them. They both laid on the bed, eventually into a much sleep as Sasuke curled around Kisame, both men taking comfort in each other.

~*~

The day had been another failure in what was becoming a long line of them. They were empty handed once again as the three men continued the search for their lost lover. Konan had been let loose by Fugaku, surprising them since Kisame had not gotten to interrogate her again. He had been angered at the man he looked to as a mentor, but had not said a word to him. With a few commands Kisame could disappear without a trace and no one would find him. Their hours of searching hadn’t changed hardly at all and sleep was now just a second thought as the days Naruto was missing stretched on.

Sasuke was more irritable than ever, not having patience for anyone but Kisame and Itachi. The youngest Uchiha was near unconsolable when it came to Naruto and trying to comfort him. He was beginning to even push Kisame and Itachi away. Naruto’s disappearance was tearing them apart and there was nothing Kisame could do to keep them together. He was failing his lovers and himself by allowing Naruto remain in Pein’s clutches.

They had exhausted every available resource to find their missing lover, nothing was left anymore to help them for their search. Fugaku had been strangely silent on the matter as he had ceased contact with them for two days. It was odd that the man had done so since Naruto was his missing son. The behavior was odd and none of the three men enjoyed it at all. It meant that Fugaku was planning something and they could only guess his anger was directed at Pein. It wouldn’t be long before Fugaku would lose all patience and attempt to break down the other man’s defences no matter long it took to get to it. His fate wouldn’t be a happy one, especially since Minato had been kept from him all those years and Naruto had suffered living on the streets.

They had been picking up small items they were sure Naruto would love when he returned, but now it was looking grim. Sasuke had been inconsolable with every day that passed. Itachi was at his wits end on where exactly their blond lover was located. Kisame was in an never ending fit of rage, no one had been safe from his temper as he picked Pein’s lackey’s off the streets and tried to rip the information he so desperately needed. Without Konan in his grasp, his best lead was gone and there was no hope even left.

Tiredly, all three men trekked through their silent apartment. It was eerie how used they had become to it and it didn’t sit well with them. But without Naruto there to fill the apartment with music or whatever what was on T.V., it had been easy. To have something common ripped away from them and then slip back into their old ways was disconcerting. Kisame didn’t even bother to flip on the lights, knowing that they were only to crash on the bed as clothes were stripped. They would more than likely forget about them later and would just mess up the apartment.

Not that they cared since it was obvious that Naruto may never be returned to them. The thought hung heavily over their heads as the door to their bedroom was opened, the creak from the hinges filling the silence. It wasn’t something new and without Naruto there to badger Kisame about fixing things, the hinges were never oiled. A lot of things had changed in Naruto’s absence and that was only the beginning. While Sasuke and Itachi had continued to shave, Kisame had not, he was on his way to growing a full beard as he neglected his face.

Kisame nearly bowled Itachi as the man stopped in front of him, frozen as though he were scared. Irritated, he went to open his mouth to snap at Itachi when a blond mop of hair on their bed garnered his attention. His eyes blinked several times before he believed the body on the bed was Naruto. The enticing tan skin was still the same and it looked as though he were never harmed. He was resting peacefully, wearing nothing but a pair of boxers as he curled around a pillow, his face buried into it and barely visible.

Sasuke was the first to react, moving immediately to the bed and climbing onto it, hesitating for a moment before he touched Naruto’s face. Kisame watched as those beautiful blue eyes fluttered opened and Naruto gave Sasuke a sleepy smile before pulling him down onto the bed and snuggling into his body. Kisame and Itachi wasted no time in joining their lovers on the bed, Kisame taking up the spot behind Naruto’s back as he breathed his scent deeply. He’d forgotten how his youngest lover had smelled, his earthly scent invading his nostrils.

They had to touch him, to make sure he was actually here with them. Kisame was satisfied when he placed his hand over Naruto’s chest and felt the strong, steady heartbeat. Relief flooded him when he realized he wasn’t daydreaming and Naruto was actually here with them. Never again would he let him out of his sight, Naruto belonged to them and no one else.

“Hey, you act like I’ve been dead,” Naruto rumbled as he felt six hands on his person. His tone was soft, and didn’t hold any teasing as his words might have.

“We almost thought you were. We couldn’t find you,” Sasuke answered, his voice thick with emotion as he hugged Naruto closer to him, his lips pressing against the messy blond hair.

“He didn’t touch you did he?” Itachi asked from his spot behind Sasuke, his hand finding Naruto’s and linking their fingers together.

“No, I was taken care of pretty well. He...he was trying to get my dad to give him some information on where Papa Fu had stored some government weaponry. Pein wanted it in order to take over the city, he wasn’t as powerful as the Uchiha family,” Naruto explained, pressing his face against Sasuke’s chest. “He held him there for two decades, just for that reason! And he wouldn’t tell me what else he did. You should have seen Papa Fu though! He came in with guns blazing!”

Itachi couldn’t force the chuckle that left his lips, it would be just like Naruto to focus on that aspect of his captivity. Perhaps in a way he didn’t want them to worry or fret over how he had been treated. Naruto didn’t like the focus to be on him and so he was trying to shift the conversation away from himself and onto a subject that was more comfortable to him. And they would oblige him, all three men were satisfied that he was reality and right there in front of them.

“So it was Father who found you,” Sasuke mused, petting Naruto’s hair as Kisame’s hand stroked the tanned stomach that was exposed to him. He couldn’t find the words to express himself, they didn’t come to him as easily as Sasuke and Itachi. But his touch was enough for Naruto to know that he was happy he was safely in their bed.

“Yeah, I wanted to go straight to you, but he dumped me here instead.” Naruto grumbled, pouting as he thought of the argument he had with his fathers.

“He does have a bit of sadistic streak, but now that Minato is back, it should be curbed regularly now.” Itachi muse, his thumb stroking the back of Naruto’s hand.

“He told me how useless you were without me and that you were working yourselves into an early death while searching for me,” Naruto whispered sadly, moving his head up to look at Sasuke and Itachi. “I know you love me, but please, don’t ever wear yourselves down to the point where you can’t take of yourself. I would hate to think that I would be the reason you were run down and unable to function.”

“We love you and with you missing, it was unbearable. The apartment was so empty without you here. We couldn’t even have sex, Naruto.” Sasuke replied, his stroking pausing for a moment.

“You rely on me too much,” Naruto snorted, rolling his blue eyes. “I know you love me and want to keep me safe, but you can’t allow yourselves to turn into zombies! Even now I can see how tired you are!”

“Only you would scold us when we’re reunited,” Sasuke snorted, rolling his own dark eyes as he tugged Naruto closer to his body. A smile twitched at his lips despite his tone, Naruto feeling the action against his head.

“I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t. But I’m being serious, please don’t neglect your bodies if something happens to me, it makes me upset,” Naruto said seriously, his tone held a tinge of sadness of what his lovers had gone through while he was gone. It was two and a half weeks of hell and he wouldn’t speak about it to them. While Pein had never had a hand laid on him, his father been a different story. For whatever odd reason, the insane man had thought Naruto knew where the weapons had been stashed. There had been one moment of clarity when Yahiko had surfaced, apologizing to them for the circumstance they had found themselves. But the lucidity didn’t last long before Pein was once again in control.

“We can only try if the situation ever arises again,” Itachi answered before the other two men could protest. They wouldn’t worry Naruto again since it was obvious he was upset at hearing the news they had failed to take care of themselves in his absence. He would play the peacemaker if he had to, he shouldn’t have to since Naruto was unharmed and in their room.

“That’s all I ask,” Naruto replied softly, a smile tugging at his lips before he sat up and grinned widely at his lovers. “Now, I think it’s time I get a kiss.”

They couldn’t argue with Naruto, he was the center of their world now. With him there and alive, Kisame knew they wouldn’t be able to deny him anything. Whatever Naruto asked for, he would receive no matter the price tag. He was aware of the fact as well, knowing his lovers would spoil him if they were given the chance. He would allow it of course, to an extent. Kisame was aware that Naruto didn’t like the extravagant gifts that Itachi and Sasuke bestowed to him. It had always been entertaining to watch Naruto’s reactions to the expensive gifts, his face going red and eyes darting to Kisame, asking him what he should do.

Sasuke was the first to pull Naruto into his lap, quickly attaching his lips to Naruto’s. He held the younger man as though he would break as their lips glided against one another, Sasuke conveying everything he felt since Naruto was missing, his hands cupping the tan face lovingly. When they pulled apart, Naruto rested his head against Sasuke’s closing his eyes as he fought tears.

“I love you, Sasuke,” Naruto whispered, opening his eyes to find the shocked, but pleased expression on his lover’s face.

“I love you too. I wanted to tell you, but you were gone and I couldn’t,” Sasuke choked, burying his face into Naruto’s neck as he fought tears as his body trembled. His hands rested on Naruto’s back as Itachi and Kisame allowed them to have this moment.

A few moments later, Itachi and Kisame joined them. Kisame pressing against Naruto’s back as Itachi pressed against his side. His head was turned as Itachi placed a tender, soft kiss against his lips, sighing when they pulled away from one another. Itachi wasn’t one for words, Naruto knew he was loved by the expression on the other man’s face.

Before Naruto knew it, Kisame had taken his lips captive, a hungry kiss that conveyed how much he was missed and how much he was loved. Sasuke’s hands stroked his back as he was offered by Kisame. Naruto’s fear had been that when he returned to his lover’s, he wouldn’t be wanted. He was being reassured now that he was, that they hadn’t forgotten about him. It was all Naruto needed as he relaxed into Kisame and Itachi, Sasuke moving forward to cocoon him as he was embraced. He knew one day he would have to explain what had happened, but right now, that didn’t matter. What did was that he was home and he was still loved. Sasuke accepting him was only the icing the cake as Naruto closed his eyes and smiled before moving his body so they all tumbled to the bed in a heap, his laughter filling the apartment once again.
