"So, her name is Koroshi, hm? Itachi named her that? For such a gentle child, I am shocked he would give a little girl such a name. But, as long as she likes it….And she has been staying with you, Kakashi.?" "Yes, Hokage-sama. She is eleven years old, and has been wandering around the village and wilderness for four years. And now she wants to become a shinobi." "Age eleven seems a little old to me to be just starting shinobi-training, but I will allow her to enter into the academy. As far as a place to live is concerned, I will just have to find somewhere for her. Until then, some of the shinobi in our village will take turns letting her stay with them, and maybe they can help train her while she is with them. She is going to need all the help she can get to get a jump-start if she desires to be a shinobi." "Yes, Hokage-sama." "I will arrange for the Hyuga's, the Uchiha's, Might Guy, you, the Nara's, the Akamichi's, the Haruno's, the Inuzuka's, the Aberame's, and the Yamanaka's, as well as Anko Mitarashi, and Kurenai Yuhi, to help and take care of her." "Yes, Hokage-sama." "Now, go and tell everyone this news." "Right!" With that, Kakashi disappeared. ***Meanwhile, with Koroshi*** "Can't catch me, Sasuke!" Koroshi laughed as Sasuke chased her. They played as Itachi watched on, making sure that Sasuke played fairly since Koroshi wasn't a shinobi or in shinobi training. "Hey!" Called some kids coming over to them. "Who is the new girl?" One girl with blonde hair and blue eyes asked. "This is such a drag," one with dark hair in a spiky pony-tail said. "She kinda smells!" A blonde with spiky blonde hair and blue eyes said, a pair of goggles on his head. Everyone glared at him. He just shrugged his shoulders. "It’s true, and everyone was thinking it." Sasuke felt he had the liberty to introduce them all. "This is Koroshi. She is my brother's new friend. He saved her. Koroshi, that's Ino--"He pointed to the girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. "That is Shikamaru--"Sasuke pointed at the one with dark spiky hair in a pony-tail. "And that is Naruto ...--" He then pointed at the boy who had said she smelled. She put on her friendliest smile, even though she felt slightly awkward. "It’s so nice to meet all of you!" She smiled. They all made noises of agreement. "So," Ino asked her. "How did you get your hair white? Why have we never seen you here before? Where are you from? What is your family like?" Koroshi shrunk back a bit. "Um....My hair is naturally white. I've only been on the outskirts of the village. I am from outside of the village. My family is um....dead." Silence. "Oh," Ino said. "So....you're an orphan?" Naruto seemed to almost gasp quietly as he looked at her with wide eyes. Perhaps he had been too quick to be harsh? He looked at the girl’s eyes, and they seemed very much like his own. He felt some slight joy in his heart at that. So, he wasn’t completely alone. This girl was an orphan, too. "Yes, I am,” Koroshi answered, quietly. “I’m sorry. But hey! Come on, Sasuke-kun! Let’s go play!” ***Back with the Hokage*** "Now," the Hokage said. "We are going to cooperate with one another and help to take care of this girl." Everyone agreed. "It is the least we can do, since one of our own murdered her family. She will be trained and taken care of," The Hokage said, and everyone made noises of agreement. Sarutobi was determined, Koroshi would be trained. He hoped that she was a fast learner, and that she would become a great shinobi for the village. *** Koroshi and Itachi swung on the swings, while the other children played tag. Sasuke seemed to really like that game. Soon, it was time for everyone to go back home, and so Itachi took Koroshi back to Kakashi’s, and Koroshi lay down in bed, going right to sleep. ********************************** AN:: I will add the next chapter when I have time ^_^
