Show and Tell2: Neji's Return

Hey everyone! Just to let you know, the Show and Tell Saga is ending with this chapter. However, never fear, I have another Neji/Tenten story planned in the not so distant future. You will definitely be seeing a new Neji/Tenten story and there may be some other couples in it as well! It will be a spin off of the end of this story.
Neji and Ten Ten had it all. Their first night in their home was truly a night to remember. There was something about having sex in a bed that was theirs, in a house that was theirs. Married life would be good to them and married ninja life would be good to them as well. Missions would come and go, they would be together and separated, but they were married which meant that even when they were apart, they would still have one another.

Months passed, and Ten Ten became close with Neji’s aunt and even with his all mighty uncle. It took her no time to become accustomed to the Hyuuga way of life. She even witnessed tensions begin to loosen slightly between Hyuuga Hiashi and Naruto, which was a huge relief to Hinata. After 10 months together, both Neji and Ten Ten were called up on separate missions, which split them apart for 3 months. It was hell for both of them but once the missions were over, they both returned to each other. Ten Ten’s mother had adored her son-in-law since early in their relationship; however now that nearly a year had passed since their marriage, she loved him because he worshipped her daughter. She loved him like the son she never had.

Neji and Ten Ten celebrated their one year anniversary and since Hyuugas threw the best parties in Konoha, their anniversary party was no exception. This anniversary was special in more ways than one. Ten Ten had something to tell that not even Neji knew yet. She had waited because she wanted Neji to know first…she was pregnant. She knew Neji would probably faint because they had been trying for the past 4 months. She figured Hiashi would probably squeeze the hell out if her and her mother would probably cry. But she waited until after their anniversary party had come to a close to tell Neji. Ten Ten would carry the next prodigy.

Four months later the unexpected happened. Ten Ten was indeed pregnant…with twins. Neji’s father had been a twin, and so twins ran in the bloodline. The thought of her carrying twins was frightening at first, for she and Neji had planned for only one child. But two would work just fine, especially by Hyuuga standards; since the men were crazy about their pregnant women. After all, the women carried the next generation of Hyuugas. Now, the final question rose…were they twin boys or twin girls and would they be born with Byakugan?

The next doctor’s visit confirmed it. Ten Ten was pregnant with twin girls; however the color of their eyes wouldn’t be determined until they were born. At five months pregnant, Ten Ten was just starting to show.

Four months had passed and Ten Ten was ready to give birth. Neji had never been this nervous before. He ached for Ten Ten because he had to watch his wife experience the pain of contractions and the anticipation of birthing not one by two babies. Hinata, Naruto, Hanabi Hiashi, his wife and Ten Ten’s mother were in the hospital with her as she lay in delivery with Neji.

Neji’s little girls were born at 2:37 in the morning and his beloved wife was exhausted. They were perfect 5 pound 9 ounce girls…with pure white eyes. Neji really did feel like he was going to faint there in the delivery room because he never dreamed that he and Ten Ten could make something like these little girls. They would be loved more than they ever knew. This was Neji’s chance to redeem the branch family. His chance to be a father to his children, like his own father was unable to be to him. Not to mention, between Neji, Ten Ten and Hiashi, they would become exceptional ninjas. There was a lot in store for the new Hyuuga girls. Now, Neji and Ten Ten weren’t just ninjas, they weren’t just lovers, they were parents.
