Itachi: I gave her some assistance the other day.

Sai:(raises eyebrow)Why don't I believe you?

T.W.: Because you're clever and you know him reeeeally well.

Sai: Are you going to tell me why you thanked him?

T.W. I value my life far too much, especially since I just watched my first DVD of Kyo Kara Maou. Hooray for engaged pretty boys!

Sai: You're a freak.

T.W.: O.o Since when did you get bitten by the contagious Itachi bug?

Sai: YOU try having him handcuff you to a shower rod and molest you for eight hours.

T.W.: Kami-sama I can only hope.

Itachi: Never going to happen so abandon all hope.

Chapter 32 Reception

Once at the reception held on the Uchiha grounds, the first thing people did was sign the guest book and greet the newly married couple. As soon as that was over and done with, Sakura came up behind them, "You need to open the dancing, according to tradition no one can dance until you two have the first dance as husband and er, husband."

Sasuke raised an eyebrow and glared at her lightly and Naruto chuckled, "Sakura-chan you do remember that Sasuke can't lead a dance to save his life right?"

Sakura smiled remembering when they had made that discovery, "Which id why you are going to lead the dance Naruto. Now you two get your hot asses out on that dance floor cause I want to dance with Choji."

Naruto tilted his head cutely at his husband, silently asking him if he wanted to lead instead of Naruto. Sasuke just nodded towards Naruto and the two walked onto the dance floor. Naruto took the lead in a waltz, "I still can't figure out why you can follow in a dance so gracefully but trip over your own feet when you try to lead."

Sasuke snorted, "It's genetic, everyone who's born an Uchiha is an excellent ninja but can't lead a dance. If you think I'm bad you should have seen it when Itachi tried to dance at the parties our family threw. He always looked like a newborn giraffe trying to walk for the first time he was so awkward."

Naruto snickered outwardly but inside he was surprised and pleased by the way Sasuke had brought up Itachi without any bitterness. 'It looks like Sasuke is finally starting to heal.'

The waltz ended and they left the dance floor, heading for the buffet table. Naruto began to fill his plate while Sasuke just grabbed a couple pieces of finger food and a cup of punch. Naruto grabbed a cup of his own and nudged Sasuke with a hip, "C'mon teme, let's go sit down."

"Hn."

They sat eating in peace for a few moments before Tsunade came up and told them it was time to cut the cake.

As they approached the towering white confectionary monstrosity, Naruto had an idea and whispered in Sasuke's ear. The Uchiha raised an eyebrow and if you looked closely you could see the corner of his mouth tilt up in a slight smile. When they got to the cake, instead of taking the knife Tsunade held out, Sasuke pulled his katana from heaven only knows where and stepped behind Naruto. The blond wrapped his hands around the sword's hilt and Sasuke covered Naruto's hands with his own. They raised the sword high together and brought it down swiftly then, repeated the motion so that a wedge was cut down the length of the cake. Tsunade chuckled as Sasuke wiped the blade clean, "You two never do anything the usual way do you?"

Naruto grinned at her, "What would be the point?"

She handed them each a small piece of cake, "Try and keep your prankster streak contained while you and Sasuke feed each other the cake okay?"

Naruto just chuckled as he and Sasuke brought the cake to each other's mouths and bit in. Once done he noticed that Sasuke had a small smear of frosting at the corner of his mouth.

"You've got frosting on your lip," Naruto sidled up to Sasuke and wrapped his arms around the brunette's neck, "Let me just get that for you."

Naruto leaned in, licked away the frosting, and kissed Sasuke, slipping his tongue into the Uchiha's mouth. Sasuke hauled him closer, sucking on his tongue a bit before sliding his own tongue into Naruto's mouth. They distinctly heard a barking laugh then, Kiba yelled out, "Save some for the honeymoon you guy!"

They broke apart and Sasuke whispered in Naruto's ear while brushing his hand across the blond's ass, "Speaking of the honeymoon, how much longer do we have to stick around here before I can get you alone and naked under me?"

Naruto blushed, "I don't know but why don't you practice some patience and self-restraint by keeping your hands above my waist," Naruto felt Sasuke's fingers edge just under his shirt, "and out of my clothes until we can get out of here."

Sasuke scowled but slid his hand out of Naruto's shirt, "Hn."

Naruto shook his head and tugged Sasuke back to the table they'd been sitting at before Tsunade had gotten them to wait for their chance to leave.

It wasn't long in coming. After an hour and a half several guests were halfway to plastered and a few were already totally wasted. Naruto and Sasuke made use of the drunk confusion to slip outside and head for the coach that Tsunade had arranged to take them to their hotel. They were almost there when a voice interrupted, "Running away so soon?"

Sasuke cursed mentally while Naruto turned to face Neji and Gaara, "Absolutely."

Neji smiled and Gaara's stoic expression softened a bit. Sasuke turned to face them, "What do you want?"

Neji raised an eyebrow, "You're impatient. Gaara and I are leaving for Suna tomorrow along with Temari and Lee so we wanted to say goodbye."

Naruto smiled, "You mean 'see you later' cause there is no way that we're not going to visit you guys and I expect a visit from you when the baby is born."

Gaara's stony features cracked and he smiled, "Of course we will."

Neji smirked, "There is no way we'll miss seeing wht the combination of you two produces."

Naruto gave Neji and Gaara each a hug, "See you guys then."

They nodded and Gaara said, "Take care Naruto."

"I will."

Gaara and Neji nodded at Sasuke, who returned the gesture, and left then, Sasuke and Naruto got into the coach.

They entered the hotel room that Tsunade had comped for them and Naruto gaped for a bit at the opulence of it. He headed to examine the bathroom and stared at the whirlpool tub that was big enough to fit four people in it. Sasuke wrapped his arms around his husband and rested his chin on Naruto's shoulder, "Why don't you take a soak while I order some food."

Naruto leaned into the embrace for a moment, "Okay I will," then he pulled away to start filling and Sasuke went to call room service.

As the tub filled, Naruto stripped out of the tuxedo with relish. It might look good but it was uncomfortable and irritating. He saw that the water had reached the right level and shut the tap off and turned the jets on. He stepped into the tub, lowered himself into the water, and dunked his head under. As he surfaced he sighed in contentment. 'Perfect.'

Sasuke stood in the doorway, watching his usuratonkachi revel in the water's heat, "Feel good?"

Naruto opened his eyes and smiled at the brunette, Oh yeah. You'll have to take a soak later."

"Why not now?"

"Huh?"

"There's room enough, mind if I join you?"

Naruto blushed a bit at the suggestive look in Sasuke's eyes, 'He has more than a soak in mind,' but smiled and nodded.

"No I don't mind, come on in teme."

Itachi:(stops glaring)Fine.
