True to his word, Kakashi didn't move from Gai when he woke except to detach himself from the other man while praying he didn't make him too sore. As time crept by, though, Kakashi didn't want Gai to oversleep and wake up in a ruffled state when he had to meet his mission for the next two weeks.

"...Oi. Gai. You should probably get up." Kakashi said with a yawn.

Gai's eyes slid open and he propped himself up on his elbows, wincing slightly as he moved. "What time is it?" He asked around a yawn before straightening fully, smiling with a gentle joy at Kakashi.

Kakashi leaned forward and kissed Gai's shoulder, sparing a lazy glance to the clock. "You have an hour and a half. Just figured I'd wake you so you could bathe if you needed to."

Sparing a glance at his stomach Gai scratched at the dried semen now decorating it before looking up again at the gentle touch. "A shower might be a good idea..." Squirming for a moment he leaned into Kakashi." Did you ever manage to find a way to ...get clean?" He still somehow managed to flush softly.

Kakashi wondered for a moment what Gai meant, then just chuckled in response. "...It'll come out in the shower." he said, leaning in to kiss Gai again. "If not, it will next time you have to use the bathroom."

Meeting Kakashi's lips in a languid kiss Gai reached out and scrapped his finger nail over the other man's chest coming away with similar results. Finally forced to break the kiss he licked his lips a wicked gleam in his black eyes, "You should probably shower too…”

"Yeaaaaah? I'm not sure we'll get out in time if we take a shower at the same time..." Kakashi said, matching Gai's smile. "I seem to remember being pinned to the tiles last time we tried that."

"But we still made it in time for our reservation" Wrapping his arms around Kakashi Gai tumbled them back to the bed, pinning his partner to the sheets. "And I can't recall you complaining at that time."

"MmMmmmm..." Kakashi arched against Gai, sliding his hands up to rest on Gai's arms as a finger traced the ANBU tattoo there. "I guess we can take a chance...Maybe the extra effort will help clean you up a little, hm?"

Shivering at the finger racing the tattoo marking him as ANBU Gai pressed against Kakashi before his last words registered. "Yosh! I'm sure it will!" Bouncing up with his usual energy Gai smiled brightly as he tugged at Kakashi's hand. "Extra effort is never pointless."

Kakashi actually chuckled as Gai pulled him along into the bathroom. "Aaaah, I should know better than to say the word 'effort' around you." despite the words, Kakashi's tone was fond.

"Ah?" Nudging the door closed again Gai pinned Kakashi to the door for a moment nuzzling at his throat before moving away again teasingly. "It's the genius of hard work my rival" somehow he almost looked smug. "And I am still waiting for you to fulfil your last challenge..." He turned the water on, his back turned to Kakashi, twisting the knob to as hot as he could stand. Hopefully it would work some of the kinks out.

Kakashi let out an unhappy cry when Gai moved away, continuing to lean against the door with a distinct pout to his lips. "...Last challenge?" he asked as a little smirk crept up his face, without the mask to hide it. "I'm afraid I've forgotten."

Gai looked back over his shoulder and it seemed for a moment as if he was shaking his booty at Kakashi...but it was Gai, therefore it....actually it could and it most certainly was. "Oh? Shame on you Kakashi. A challenge from your rival should be important enough to be remembered especially with barely a day gone by." Straightening Gai stood and pushed the partition to the side, ready to brave the steaming water streaming in a torrent from the shower head.

Kakashi licked his lips as he watched Gai, stretching his arms above his head before following the other man into the shower. "Maa, you say so many things, how am I expected to listen to all of them?" he teased.

"But it was a challenge! How else could be keep our youthful rivalry alive if not by challenging each other?" Although the words were said in jest there was a deep sense of conviction that went with them. For Gai his rivalry with Kakashi had been such an essential part of his life for so long that he couldn't imagine it other wise. Reaching up to adjust the showerhead so that the water hit both of them Gai then slipped both arms around Kakashi and pressed against his back, their slick skin gliding easily against each other.

Kakashi gasped, so content and pleased at the heat of Gai against his back. "How about you remind me, then?" he said with a promising twist of his hips against Gai's.

Lowering his mouth to Kakashi's shoulder Gai nipped at the pale skin before moving slowly upwards trailing kisses and gentle bites along the length of Kakashi's throat. Having reached a delicate ear he pressed a last kiss behind it. "You'd think you would remember it. After all it did involve those books you are so very fond of..." With every word he moved his hips against the other ANBU's while his hands had captured a nipple each, rubbing over the sensitive skin with his calloused fingers and pinching them carefully from time to time.

Kakashi let out a light hiss at the pinches, rocking his hips against Gai's. He tried so very hard to focus on Gai's words but the other man had a way of driving all sense and focus from his mind. "Yeaaaaaaah? What about 'em?" Kakashi inquired further, letting his eyes slide shut as his mouth was left open with quiet gasps.

"You were supposed to prove to me that they are..." Gai stopped for a moment to mouth Kakashi's pulse feeling it flutter against his tongue, "As high quality and stimulating as you claim them to be." With one hand he reached for a bottle of shower gel and flipped it open depositing a more then decent amount on his other hand and began lathering up Kakashi's torso, taking great care to make sure that all residue of their earlier activities was washed away before spinning him around and taking his mouth in a gentle kiss while his hands continued their work on the other man's back..

Any words Kakashi had were lost into the kiss as he tried to deepen it, his mouth hot and needy. He was glad for the change of positions, though. It allowed him to slide his arms around Gai and touch every part of the other man's body he could reach.

Pushing his hips against Kakashi's Gai gave in and deepened the kiss meeting Kakashi's tongue with his own as he continued the motion of his hands although his coordination was diminishing thanks to Kakashi's mouth and hands that were slipping over his slick skin.

"Gai-" Kakashi gasped out when he had to pull away for air, grinding his hips against Gai harder, insistent, needy. "You drive me crazy, I can't think when I'm around you." he admitted in the haze of arousal.

His hips matching Kakashi's in urgency Gai licked at Kakashi's cheek. "Good." He murmured as he moved against the other man, his hands by now having travelled down to Kakashi's bottom and pulling him even closer. "I don't want you to push me away..." The last words were pressed against Kakashi's lips before Gai's tongue slid between them again. Although he was usually an open person it seemed Gai's mind had been affected as well making him reveal his hidden anxiety to Kakashi.

Kiss-bruised lips eagerly opened against Gai's kiss once more. The dark-haired ninja was not the only one affected by other's presence. Kakashi was usually hidden and closed off to everyone, but he let himself be more and more open with Gai, and held back even less. A few more bucking of hips and Kakashi was shuddering against Gai once more in the aftermath of his climax.

With Kakashi's body tightly held against his own Gai didn't even attempt to ward of his own orgasm as he felt his lover's release and followed him with a muffled groan into their kiss. His knees threatening to give way as the tension and strength were drained out of his body to be swirled down the drain.

The rest of the shower was uneventful, for the most part. What counted anyway was that they were able to make it out, dry, and dressed in time to be presentable when there was a swift knock at the door. Kakashi was just pulling on his mask and he looked to Gai, questioning.

Giving him a quick nod Gai gave his green suit a last tug before striding to the door and throwing it open a welcoming (blinding) smile on his lips.

Another ninja Gai knew as a Chuunin instructor at the Gennin school was standing on Gai's doorstep. "Maito-san, glad to see you're in." she said, stepping back so Gai could get a look at the young prince. "This is Yukio-sama-"

"YOU!" Yukio - the boy from the Onsen - exclaimed, pointing to Gai as he recognized the ninja.

"Aa." Was Gai's only response as he blinked at the boy for a long moment.

Kakashi couldn't help it. He had to join Gai at the door, regardless of if it offered up some questions as to what he was doing there. If anyone asked, he'd say 'harassment' and leave it at that. He raised an eyebrow at the sight of the boy.

"...YOU! OH GOD, YOU!" Yukio yelled now, pointing at Kakashi with wide eyes.

"...I'm sorry, have we met?" was Kakashi's only response after some stretch of silence.
