Rokushou Aoi – And What is Your Power?

34: Rokushou Aoi – And What is Your Power?

Sasuke stood in the Hokage’s office and she glared at her. The desk was currently broken in two and there were papers scattered around the floor.
Tsunade was mad.
She was very mad.
But not about what you would expect.
Tsunade paced the floor, once more and then turned to glare at the transformed Uchiha again.
“I have gone to great lengths to have him brought here. Why won’t you just do your thing and cure him? I don’t understand.”
Sasuke sighed and shifted on the narrow heeled shoes she wore, pushing the long curls out of her face. “I didn’t say I wouldn’t, I said I can’t. You have to understand the way the Dainichi works. It isn’t just a slap it around thing. I have to arrange things a certain way and it won’t work for this case.”
“What are you talking about? If this is because of this stupid Jutsu, I will castrate your boyfriend once and for all!” she shouted.
“No. It isn’t that. I could do it in this form or any other I happen to choose. But in order to find out the key to the evil, I have to encounter it directly. With him trussed up and bound it isn’t going to happen. I’m sorry, just put him in the correctional facility and be happy you have him under lock and key. If he escapes, then call me.” And she turned to the door and walked past the tied man that stood between Kankurou and Yugao.
Tsunade glared at her as the door closed behind her.
“Still the bitch, that Sasuru, I see. So, what do you want to do with him?” Kankurou asked. Tsunade waved to Yugao who opened the door and called to the two men outside. They took the hostage and carried him away.
“Hokage-sama, can’t you just order him to do it?” the woman asked.
“No. If she is telling me the truth and I believe she is, there is no use. Also, Yugao. You should get used to calling Sasuke ‘Sasuru’ too. I get the feeling that, this time, she and Naruto may have succeeded. There was a definite chakra fluctuation there.” Tsunade said, allowing a small smile to filter to her face. She had been hoping for them and though she was angry that they continued without her permission, she hadn’t expected otherwise. Now, she would see how they progressed.

Sasuke left the Hokage’s office and returned to the streets. She had been shopping for some vegetables when the request had reached her via an out of breath Udon and Moegi. The two genin were waiting when she emerged and followed along as she shopped.
“Do you have another message for me?” she asked.
“Konohamaru says that, in between other official missions, you are our mission. We are supposed to help you for a full year and then we can become as strong as he is. I don’t know why, but he says it is important.” Udon reported sounding official.
“Are you angry about this, Sasuru-chan?” Moegi asked.
“No. I can actually use the help today. And in repayment I will treat you both to dinner. How does that sound?”
“Can I play with Koibito?” Moegi asked her cheeks flushed in excitement.
“Oh course. Now let’s get some groceries.”

They entered the house and Sasuke called out to the blond.
“Hey, Naruto. We have guests. They have been very helpful today, also.” But there was no answer. She dropped the bags on the kitchen counter and found the note that was pinned to the front of the fridge.
Sasuru,
I had to rush off for a meeting with Jiraiya. He wants you to come to the little waterfall, south of the village. Ten tonight, and ask Itachi to keep Koibito for you.
Naruto.

“Dobe.” Sasuke voiced, before emptying the bags quickly.
Moegi and Udon had run through and found Itachi and Koibito in the back of the house playing in the sandbox that Tanzou and Housei had made for the baby.

The water fell, as is often the case at a waterfall. The sound filled the area and drowned out the usual forest sounds. This was a favorite meeting place for the young women of the village who were not ninja’s and did not favor the company of the Kunoichi. Jiraiya was well versed in its very many hiding places and how well it worked for secret rendezvous.
He sat in the crook of a bush and waited as Naruto met Sasuke on the path from the village. Their prey had yet to arrive and the night sky was clear and filled with stars.
Naruto led Sasuke to their position and the two dropped down next to the waiting man.
He nodded his head toward the clearing and they noted the shifting brush there.
A man with a soft green tinted hair emerged and stood there as a woman with a very Kakashi-like face-mask and a Hitae-ate of the rain village joined him.
“So, Aoi. What is it we are planning?” she said, her voice threaded with anger.
“Now, Kirisame. Don’t start a mission off with such negative emotions. We both have reason to be angry with them, but that doesn’t mean that we have to allow those feelings to control the outcome. I think we can do some great damage to the Leaf and draw them out, then we can have our revenge on those three.” Rokushou Aoi said as the woman glared at him. He moved with grace and elegance and she was bulky and masculine, but this was not the nature of their association so mattered little.
They talked at length about their plans and when they parted, the woman headed south while the man stayed in the clearing for a time.
Jiraiya indicated that he would follow the female and they were to see if they could capture the man. Naruto nodded and turned to the Uchiha.
“I have a plan. And you are dressed perfectly for it.” He said as he adjusted his position and began to form the seals that had changed Sasuke into the form she now sat in. Soon they were a pair and they stood slowly preparing for the battle.
“Oh, Sasuru-chan. Did he really try that? What a funny man. And what did you do?” Naruto giggled as they moved through the bushes to the clearing.
“Well, now Naruka-san. What do you suppose I did? I just slapped him right across the face. No one is going to get me to kiss him with out at least asking my permission first. I mean the nerve of those ninja’s. They think just because they pass a silly chuunin test that they can take liberties. Oh, who are you?” she said as they came upon the stranger.
“Oooh, look Sasuru-chan. He’s a pretty one, isn’t he?” Naruto said, lifting her towel and giggling herself silly.
Aoi was surprise at the sudden arrival of the two pretty ladies, dressed in shorts and small t-shirts and obviously going for a late night swim. He thought that this might be a perfect opportunity to cause some mischief and draw out his targets so he stood his ground and watched them approach.
“Oh, Naruka-san. He has a rain headband. He might be an enemy. Isn’t that just cute?” Sasuke said, allowing a blush to color her face and batting her eyelashes seductively.
“Yeah, cute.” Naruto giggled again. “Let’s see if he wants to take us hostage,” she continued as they stepped closer, dropping their supplies and taking each other’s hand.
“Are you a bad man that has come to rape and pillage? And can you handle two girls at the same time?” the dark haired one said, squeezing her friends hand in shared amusement.
“Me? No, I am just passing by, and enjoying the spring. What are you two doing out here so late at night?” Aoi asked as they reached a point where he was sure he could reach them but not before one could escape.
Naruto stopped and Sasuke continued on for another step.
“We were going to go skinny-dipping. Our fathers hate it when we sneak out at night. But, that bad perverted Sannin is always watching here during the day. We don’t want to be ogled by an old man.” She stepped closer, “But a young and pretty boy. I might not mind that. Are you going to stay and watch us, Pretty Boy?”
Aoi had lost track of the blond while the dark-haired one stepped so close. He was suddenly aware that the other was missing and he dropped down to look around assuming a defensive pose.
Sasuke stood before him, not flinching or changing her position in the least.
“Where is your friend, Sasuru-chan?” he asked as he rose and moved a step closer.
“Around. What do you care? She won’t hurt you. Are you afraid, Rokushou? Do you remember what you nearly did to her when she aided Idate in his race? You nearly killed her, and she remembers it well. We thought you had died there. We never expected to find you here.” And the words confused him.
“Who are you? How do you know about that?” he asked.
Naruto was suddenly behind him holding his arms and blocking his ability to reach his many weapons.
Aoi turned his head to see the familiar blond head and whiskered cheeks so close to his own.
“Surprised?” Naruto asked as recognition filled the traitors eyes. “Sasuke and I hadn’t planned on meeting you here tonight. We were just going to have a little fun in the water, but this looks like so much more fun.”
Aoi turned back to the other and glared her way. “You? You are Sasuke? How? Why?” he began but the answer never came as he pulled out of the blond’s hold and raised his umbrella to toss it up and came face to face with a pair of blood red eyes and the sparkling lights that winked out from their depths.

Jiraiya had little difficulty capturing the woman, and when he returned to the glade he found the three still there.
Sasuke was standing to one side fixing her make-up as Naruto pulled a towel over a prone body. The Missing Nin lay on the ground unconscious and his umbrella lay on the ground near him, never had it even opened.
Kirisame saw the blond and began to struggle. Jiraiya pulled her forward and stopped as Naruto stood from his task. Sasuke turned and stepped up to them her body language easy and her smile so obviously faked.
“It’s nice to see you again, Rain Ninja. We never were formally introduced years ago. I thought I had heard that you and your accomplices had escaped, but to meet you here with this piece of evil is a great surprise.” She said, as she taunted the woman.
Naruto stood back and smirked as his lover faced off with the missing nin and hoped that Jiraiya figured out the purpose in her taunts. They would have to learn that the ways of the Sharingan would not work if the opponent was cowed and restrained. The girl would have to be loose and allowed to try for attack.
Jiraiya looked his way and recognition filled his eyes.
It was only a matter of time, now.

That night there were two new occupants of the Uzumaki/Uchiha home. Jiraiya laid the man on a futon as Naruto place the woman on the other. They covered them gently and turned out the lights.
Itachi watched from the door and when Sasuke came up beside him he looked at his brother.
“You look beat. I know it makes you feel like you’re making up for my sins, but I don’t think you should do this again until that one is born.” Itachi said, indicating the flat expanse of her stomach. “I think you should concentrate on the whole clan revival thing for a while. I promise not to give you anything to add to the list of sins for that time, okay?” he asked.
“Aniki, just don’t make me sad. I couldn’t bear it now. I can deal with this and that. I just want our family to become a happy one. Remember Teyaki and Uruchi? They are the Uchiha’s that I miss the most. A happy pair that were like my uncle and aunt. They always had a good word of praise for me and they were proud of you, too. I will teach my babies to be like them, then I will be the father that I wanted for us.”
“Yes, I remember them. I miss them also. You want me to be like them?” he asked.
“No. You will always be Itachi. I only want you to be happy. If I can help you, you only have to ask. Do you know that, Itachi?”
“I am beginning to.” And Sasuke smiled as she headed for her bed. Itachi watched her go, thinking how strong his brother was to go to such lengths to rebuild what had taken him so little to destroy.

::: The Village of the Hidden Rain seems to have spawned more Missing Ninja’s than Active and faithful ones. I have come across a very convenient list of them. It’s like having my own bingo book
