Chapter 36

“I said what are you doing out of bed, teme.” Naruto said again walking up to him.

“And I said you better not think you are going alone, dobe.” Sasuke said, he was still not feeling to well but he wanted to be a part of the conversation. He wanted to have a say in what was going on, because he knew that this challenge were one would win and the other would probably not wake up.

Naruto grabbed Sasuke’s left arm and dragged him back to the hospital bed.

“And do what?” Naruto said when Sasuke had settled back into bed.

“I … I don’t know” Sasuke really did not know how to answer that question; he really had not thought that far. “I just don’t want you to go … alone.” Sasuke paused

“I have to go Sasuke, okay”
Naruto took his hand, but Sasuke knew it was not okay. He knew Orochimaru was dangerous and knowing Naruto was willingly as Haku had said it, signing his own
death sentence, his mind could not help but think what if. The thought of Naruto not returning to him scared him more than anything else. Naruto looked at Sasuke whose eyes were filled with fear, and he could feel the grip tightening around his hand.

“No” Sasukes voice was trembling “it’s not okay, I am scared.” For the first time in his life Sasuke admitted he was scared. Naruto smiled and let his hand gently slide through Sasuke’s hair.

“What if you don’t come back … what if…” Sasuke did not want to say the last word afraid that it might come true.

“Please I beg you, don’t go.” Sasuke was holding on to him for dear life, afraid that if he let go the blond would leave him. Naruto sat next to Sasuke on the bed and hugged him, he felt guilty for what he was about to do but he knew he had to if any of them were going to be remotely safe.

“Okay, I wont go” Naruto hugged him tighter “I promise” he lied ‘I am sorry Sasuke but I have to’ he thought as he felt Sasuke tightening his grip around him.

Momochi, Haku and Gaara stood in the door way listening as the conversation between the two unfold. They all knew Naruto was lying only to make the raven haired boy feel better; Haku wanted to say something but Momochi took his hand and squeezed it. He was right, even if they wanted Naruto to stay there was no way he would. This was his test, not to prove himself to them or Orochimaru, but to himself. Even Sasuke knew deep down that Naruto was probably lying to him but he did not care, he just needed him to say something that would make the fear go away even if it was just a little.

“Well it is getting late maybe we should head home” Momochi broke the silence, Haku and Gaara nodded simultaneously. Naruto released the raven haired boy and looked at them; it had been weeks since Naruto or Sasuke had spent the night together alone and he was pretty sure Haku and Momochi had not had much sleep because of him.

“Yeah, I’ll stay here with Sasuke for the night”

“Okay, we’ll be back tomorrow to check up on you” Momochi said before he walked out the door with Haku closely behind.

“Well then I’ll be taken my leave to Naruto-sama, Sasuke-sama” Gaara bowed a little before turning around and walked out the door.

“Wait Gaara” Naruto came running out the door.

“What is it Naruto-sama?”

“Thank you, you saved us back there” Naruto said

“It is what I am supposed to do, but I failed.” Gaara did not look him in the eyes, he was too ashamed of himself that he had not done something to prevent the whole situation earlier.

“No you didn’t, thank you.” Naruto gave him one of his big smiles and ran back in the room, Gaara was a little confused but happy. Even though he had somewhat failed Naruto was not mad at him, he bowed a little again showing his respects even thought there were no one there to see before leaving.

Naruto walked back to Sasuke’s hospital bed and sat down next to him.

“How is your shoulder?”

“It’s alright, the morphine is working” Sasuke smiled and lifted his right arm to show the blond that he was okay. For several minutes they just sat there staring in to thin air, not speaking a single word to each other. Both boys craved for the other but Naruto was not sure if he should be doing anything as the boy sitting next to him was injured.

Sasuke was the first to give in to his craving and began stroking the blond boy over the arm and through his hair. Naruto closed his eyes making sure every nerve would feel Sasuke’s touch; he could feel Sasukes warm lips beginning to kissing him gently on his neck.

“Sasuke” Naruto whispered “We are in the hospital, and your injured.” Suddenly all his strain of thoughts disappeared as Sasuke hit one of his sweet spots on his neck.

“So” Sasuke said and kissed the spot again making Naruto moan in a low voice. Naruto did not try to reason with the raven haired boy, there was really no point as the lust for the other boy would most definitely win. Naruto lay down next to Sasuke and Sasuke leaned over him making their lips meet for the first time in weeks. Naruto’s lips were like a drug; they were so soft and warm, each time he kissed the boy he only wanted more.

He let his hand slip underneath the jumper trying to pull it off. Naruto moved slightly making it easier for Sasuke to take of the blond’s jumper; Sasuke kissed the boy again but this time more passionately. His tongue slipped in to the blond’s mouth playing with his tongue. The taste of Naruto was unbelievable, the memory of how he tasted was nothing compared to the real thing.

Naruto buttoned up the hospital shirt Sasuke was wearing without breaking the kiss, he smirked and began moving his head down towards the raven haired chest, kissing him gently along the way. With each kiss Sasuke let out a small moan but when Naruto’s tongue began playing with his nipple he could not hold his moan.

“Naruto”

The blond boy smirked at what he had accomplished. Sasuke bent down and kissed the blond boy again. Sasuke let his hand slide down to the boy’s pants and began unbuttoning it, releasing the pressure the jeans caused his hard erection.

“Ah S-Sasuke” Naruto moaned as he felt the other boy’s hand gently gripping his hard erection and slowly moving up and down. Naruto could feel every stroke and every kiss Sasuke gave him, ever since they first had sex Naruot was hooked on the other boy. His touch was like heaven and he wanted more. “I want you Sasuke” the raven haired boy did not have to be told twice as he pulled down Naruto’s jeans and boxer tossing them on the hospital floor.

“Hmm wait” Naruto stopped Sasuke from doing anything else and sat up a little.

“What?” he had already taken the lube out of Naruto’s jeans was there something else he had forgotten? He wonderd, but much to his surprise the blond boy proceeded to take of his t-shirt.

“Naruto” Sasuke was surprised but the action of the blond had made him incredibly happy, Naruto had finally accepted Sasuke in to his life. Sasuke looked at the exposed chest in front of him, it was covered with burn marks and scars, scars which reminded Naruto about the past he so desperately wanted to forget.

“Y-you want me to put it back on again?” Naruto asked hesitantly.

“No” Sasuke almost shouted, he let his hand touch Naruto’s chest to see if it was actually real. “it’s so much better like this, I can finally feel your warmth coming form you skin” Naruto’s chest might be full of scars but it was the most sexiest chest he had ever seen. The raven haired boy leaned down and began kissing every scar on the boy’s chest as an act of love, telling the blond boy he had accepted every scar the blond boy carried.

“You are so sexy Naruto” he whispered between the kisses “ I love you” he said as he looked the blond boy straight in the eyes before giving him another passionate kiss.

“I love you too Sasuke” Naruto said breaking the kiss for a second. Naruto spread his legs giving Sasuke easier access. Sasuke placed two fingers between their lips and smiled.

“You know what you have to do” he said as Naruto gently let the tip of his tongue touch Sasukes fingers before taking them in his mouth.

After half a minute Sasuke took his saliva coated fingers and moved them down to Naruto’s entrance and played around a little, watching Naruto’s discomfort as he tease him.

“That’s mean Sasuke” Naruto hissed, which only made Sasuke smile even more. He pushed both finger in at the same time and began a scissor movement inside Naruto to widen him, he could feel the blond’s muscles squeezing his fingers with each thrust.

“Sasuke please not more fingers, I want you.” Naruto demanded and Sasuke smirked. He handed the blond the tube of lube silently telling him to prepare him which Naruto happily did.

Sasuek moaned in to the kiss as he felt Naruto’s hand’s gently thrusting his painfully hard erection. He wanted the blond so bad.

“There all done” Naruto said teasingly, knowing full well what he had done to the other boy and spread his legs further apart. Naruto moaned as he felt Sasuke’s erection press against his entrance and entered him, Sasuke did not stop until his balls hit Naruto’s ass.

“We should get dressed, we would cause a lot of commotion if they found us naked in the hospital bed” they both chuckled at the though if the nurses finding them naked in the bed.

“Just a little longer” Sasuke said holding on to the blond boy, the feeling of Naruto naked skin against his own was incredible. Naruto smiled and snuggled deeper in to Sasuke’s chest, at this moment everything was perfect, not worries, there was nothing except the two of them.

The night passed quickly, and they could see the sun rise outside the window. Naruto looked at the sun, it was not the first time he had resented the rising sun. He knew he had to leave, he knew that after today he might lose everything.

“You okay Naruto” Sasuke could see the worried face on the blond.

“Hmm yeah I am fine, just don’t want to get dressed just yet” Naruto said gently kissing Sasuke. The raven haired boy did not want to get dressed either; if they had been at home he would have spent the whole day naked in bed with Naruto.

“Yeah, but it can’t be helped.” Sasuke shifted a little trying to reach the shirt Naruto had tossed on the floor, but as soon as he moved his right arm the pain was shot through his body as the morphine had begun to wear off.

“Here I’ll help you” Naruto said smiling and got out of bed, exposing is naked ass, much to Sasuke’s enjoyment.

After they had gotten dressed a nurse came in to check up on him and handed Sasuke some breakfast, which he frowned at. Hospital food was not exactly a five star meal.

“Morning Naruto-sama, Sasuke-sama” Gaara put his head in the door.

“Morning Gaara” they both said in unison.

“You’re up early” Naruto said tasting the hospital breakfast, frowning at the tast.

“Yeah I though you might want to go out today” Gaara said handing Naruto his own sword “I picked it up for you”

Naruto took the sword and smiled, Gaara had saved him the trouble of going home first to pick it up before he was going to The Park. Sasuke looked at the sword with fascination; the handle was shaped like a dragon and the edges were of silver. The black holster had imprinted a imagine of a dragon painted in silver, the contrast between the black and silver made the sword look beautiful as the sun reflected in the silver.

“Morning” they all turned to see Haku and Momochi in the door, Sasuke noticed they were all carrying swords.

“Well Gaara you want to come with me and get some decent breakfast, this hospital crap taste like dry dust.” Naruto said standing up.

“Yes Naruto-sama” Gaara walked up to the door waiting for the blond boy

“Any special orders?” Naruto asked but nobody answered. “Ramen it is then.”

Sasuke was not to happy seeing Naruto leave, the what if though was still lurking around.

“Don’t worry he will be back, Gaara will make sure of that” Haku said smiling his gentle smile.

“Yeah I know, I just can’t help but worry” Sasuke said poking his food

“We know the feeling” Momochi said sitting down at the chair next to him, Sasuke looked at him and then looked at the sword he was carrying, it was the same as Haku’s.

“Can I ask you something” Momochi and Haku looked at him, they both knew Sasuke would ask.

“Sure, I guess we can’t keep it a secret anymore” Momochi laughed a little.

“Why is everyone carrying sword, I mean guns is a better weapon isn’t it.”

“Well that depends, guns easily jam. But long story short we carry swords because it is a Sumiyoshi-kai tradition. The sword Naruto is carrying is the Kumichou sword; it is handed down from the old Kumichou to the new one. We have all different swords, depending on our position or skills.” Momochi held up his sword

“Haku and I are known as the double edge sword, which is why our swords are the same. We might be two but we act as one sword when we are fighting. Gaara is a ninja of some sort, which is why his sword is so thin and the blade is black. Nobody is better than him as a bodyguard; he can follow some one with out them even noticing. And he can since things nobody else does; his senses are like an animal”

Sasuke listened with fascination to what Momochi was saying, but their conversation was interrupted by Gaara and Naruto coming back from.

“Breakfast is served” Naruto said pulling out five ramen bowls, Haku had to laugh; Momochi and Sasuke lifted one eyebrow each, ramen was not exactly what they wanted for breakfast. Gaara just sat down on the floor and began eating his bowl of ramen.

With each hour that passed Naruto got more and more aware that he had to leave. Naruto looked at the clock hanging on the wall, ten to ten. Only two more hours until he needed to be at The Park, the only problem was that Sasuke was still awake. He looked at Haku, Momochi and Gaara before looking at Sasuke.

“What?” Sasuke looked at him

“Nothing” Naruto smiled and kissed him, ‘sorry Sasuke I have to do this’ he though before moving his hands at a point on Sasuke’s neck and pressed.

“Narut …” the raven haired boy fell a sleep

“Sorry Sasuke” he kissed him and left the sleeping boy in the bed.

“I guess I am not allowed to follow” Gaara said as Naruto walked passed him

“No, all of you stay here and watch him.” Naruto stood in the doorway “It is my last order for today”

“Please Naruto don’t say last so easily” Haku said with an angry voice, he really did not want to let the blond boy go.

“Sorry, but please until I come back just watch him. I … I” Naruto had problems forming the words he wanted to say.

“Just come back to us” Haku said turning his head, not wanting to see Naruto walk out that door.

“I’ll try” was the last thing Naruto said before disappearing out the door.

All of them just stood watching the doorway, as if Naruto was to come back telling them it was a joke. But they knew better.

“He has really grown” Momochi said.
