Truth Be Told

“Hmmm…” Naruto moaned. He slowly opened his eyes and saw Sasuke’s face starring at him. He jumped for a moment; he was excepting to see that traitor’s face first thing in the morning.

“You!” Naruto yelled. “What are doing here, get out!” he demanded.

Sasuke moved his hand over to Naruto’s face, but Naruto raised his hand back and swung it straight across Sasuke’s face, hard. He felt a big red hand print on Sasuke’s left cheek.

“Don’t you EVER touch me again, you asshole!” Naruto commanded. “Get away from me and leave me alone!”

“That’s a nice thing to say to somebody who found you unconscious in the floor.” Sasuke said sarcastically.

“You should have left me there!” Naruto shouted back.
“One of your neighbors called the school and told Kakashi-sensei you were lying on the floor.” Sasuke explained.

“So why did you come here and not him. I would have much rather seen him then you!” Naruto sneered at Sasuke and turned his head.

“Because it’s my fault you were laying there, dobe.” Sasuke said as he looked down at the floor.

“Yea, that wouldn’t have happened if you weren’t fucking around with Neji you whore!” Naruto barked back.

“I wasn’t fucking around, I was fooling around. They only person I fuck around with is you.” Sasuke said “And stop yelling, you’re giving me a headache.”

Naruto growled “Get away from me, get out of my place and don’t talk to me!” he demanded.

Sasuke sighed, stood up and walked toward the door; he knew talking to Naruto now was a waste of time. He turn he knob and slowly closed it so it wouldn’t slam. Meanwhile, Naruto was lying in his bed sobbing. He couldn’t believe what he just said to Sasuke, the person he thought he loved. Naruto’s heart hurt so much he felt like he was dying. He’d never experienced this kind of pain before, and he was starting to wonder if it was really worth all this pain and suffering just to love Sasuke.

“This is all his fault. That lying bastard.” He wiped the tears from his eyes and walked into the bath room to take a shower.

Meanwhile, Sasuke was walking away from Naruto’s apartment, and who should he see waiting at the corner for him? None other than Neji. He slowly strolled over to Sasuke.
He looked at him with a smirk. Sasuke reached into his pocket and handed Neji a wad of bills.
“Here.”

“Thanks.” Neji said with a smile. “Don’t be a stranger now….” He casually turned and sauntered away. Sasuke scoffed.

“Don’t worry; I’ll be seeing you again.”

Sasuke was heading back to his place when Shikamaru happened across him.

“Yo, Sasuke!” he called
Sasuke shifted his eyes to Shikamaru and lifted his head.

“Did you get to talk to Naruto yesterday, he was looking for you.”
“Yea, I saw him.”
“So who won?”
“Won what?”
“I thought he was gonna have a fight with you?”
Sasuke paused and smirked, “Yea, I’d say I won this time.” He gave a devious laugh.

He lifted his hand and waved to Shikamaru and he continued to head toward home. Shikamaru knew something was right about this and he hadn’t seen Naruto since then. Usually he’s somewhere around town. Shikamaru wondered, “Hmm, something happened.” He walked toward Naruto’s apartment to check on him. He reached the front door and knocked 3 times.

“Naruto? It’s Shikamaru. Are you in there?” No answer. He tried again, but still nothing. He tried turning the knob and it was open. He pushed the door open quietly and peeked his head in. He didn’t see Naruto right away so he walked in and looked around. He heard the shower still running so he looked around the corner to see if he was still in there. He wasn’t, actually he was curled up in a ball on the floor with his back leaning against the wall and he was crying. Shikamaru was shocked to see him like this. He was wearing nothing except the towel around his waist. Shikamaru ran over to him and knelt next to him.

“Naruto?!” What happened? Are you okay?” He was really worried about him. He had no idea of what was happening between him and Sasuke.

Naruto was shaking and sniffling. “Shika….maru…” he quietly said. He looked up at him. He quickly threw his arms around him. Shikamaru was slightly stunned for a moment; he wasn’t excepting that. But he could tell Naruto was just scared so he put his arms around him too. He rubbed his back and tried to get him to calm down.

“Its okay, it’s okay. What happened? Did you get hurt?” Shikamaru asked.

“Kind of…”
“Did Sasuke do something to you?”
“Yes….he took something away from me….”
“What did he take?”
Naruto paused, “…my innocence.”

Shikamaru’s eyes widened. Naruto clenched onto him tighter and turned bright red. He couldn’t believe what he just told Shikamaru. Shikamaru held him closer. He felt compassion for Naruto, so much that he too began to get teary.
“It’s gonna be alright Naruto.”

That’s when Naruto had to explain everything that’s happened between him and Sasuke to Shikamaru. Shikamaru rubbed Naruto’s back and reassured him everything would be okay.
“Don’t worry Naruto; everything’s gonna be okay….I promise.” Shikamaru smiled at Naruto and he smile back.

“Thanks.”
