I squeaked when I realized where I was. Yes, you heard me. I 'squeaked.' Not a very brave noise to make or even a very dignified one but then again it isn't every day that you get transported into an anime world with four of the main characters. I think I deserved to make that stupid little noise after all I had been through. Kakashi didn't. He raised his one visible eyebrow at me and I could tell the bastard was smirking at me. What an ass.
Luckily, not many people were out this late. A few ninjas on patrol and the occasional late night worker. I was saved from total embarrassment.
"Let's go. We have to report to the Hokage," said Kakashi.
I refused to budge in that direction. Meeting the leader of this village was not something I wanted to do. I might be expendable and be executed or something like that. I liked to live, thank you very much.
So, with a little bit of theatrics on my part just to piss off Kakashi, I sat myself down properly, crossed my arms in front of me, and raised my chin in defiance. That lasted maybe three seconds before I was forcibly hauled off my ass and down the street. I really hate this man. He thinks just because he's stronger than me that he can drag me around and make me do whatever he wants me to. I'd show him.
Doing my best to catch up I brought my hand up to my face. He had a hold on my wrist so that made his hand raise, too. Trying not to think of the fact that he could easily kill me with just one finger, I bit down on his hand. He cursed and let go, giving me that split second advantage. I kicked him in the shin like a little kid and took off running down the street. I think I shocked everyone becuase nobody chased after me for a few seconds until I heard him yell for them to help him find me. Oh boy, did I run then. Four ninjas . . . like hell I had a chance.
It was a good run though. I managed to dodge them for about a minute before Sasuke decided that fun time was over and tackled me. He landed on the ground and I landed on him. I fought, of course, but that only pissed him off and soon I had a kunai to my throat and a very pissed off ninja pinning me down. I smiled up at him sheepishly, hoping that I looked innocent enough to be let go.
He smirked at me and leaned forward to whisper in my ear, "Don't try that with me. We all know you aren't the little innocent. Keep it up, I like my women to have a wild side."
I froze up instantly, too shocked for words. Well, maybe not that shocked, but shocked enough that Kakashi had time to catch up to us and grab me from beneath Sasuke. Then I exploded.
"Why you . . . stupid little . . . I can't. . ."
Yeah, okay, you couldn't understand what I was saying and neither could the others but I'm sure Sasuke understood me. He smirked again and I tried to throttle him but Kakashi held on.
"Stop trying to hurt my students. I happen to like them and I can't be a teacher if I don't have someone to teach so just calm down."
I pointed a finger at Sasuke and tried to make a coherent sentence but that didn't go very well. I was livid. Kakashi shook his head at me and rolled his eyes. I hate when people do that. Treat you like you are just so stupid and don't have a thought in your head.
I was quiet the whole time we walked. Sasuke walked directly behind me and I kept glaring over my shoulder at him. He just smirked and tried to talk to Sakura without her flinging herself at him. Naruto was walking on my left and Kakashi on my right. Kakashi had no choice but to walk directly beside me because he had a death grip on my waist to keep me from lunging at Sasuke again.
"So, we still don't know what your name is. You know us but we know nothing about you," said Naruto as he studied me. He looked really sweet.
"Aris. My name is Aris Mesaharu," I said. I noticed that Kakashi looked my way when I told Naruto my name. Probably because he felt stupid for not thinking about that first.
"Aris? I like that. Sounds pretty but cool at the same time. Kinda like you. You've got spirit but you're really pretty."
It felt nice to have someone say that. I knew I was good looking, with a model's body and waist length reddish black hair. My eyes were a stormy silver color that was very unusual, but I've been told they give me this exotic look. I didn't spend that much time in front of the mirror because I either got the look I wanted fast or got annoyed and gave up. I don't have much patience with my looks and if I can't get the make-up to look right or my hair to stay the way I want it then I just go without.
"Thanks, Naruto."
"You're welcome. Too bad I love Sakura or I would definately go for you!"
I looked behind me at said girl and saw her clasping her hands together and praying towards Heaven that that would happen. Kakashi chuckled and I whipped my head around to look at him. He hadn't said much the entire time we'd been walking.
"We're here! I wonder what baba-chan is doing?" said Naruto as he ran ahead of us a few paces.
"I told you not to call me that, Naruto!"
And there she was, showing off her attributes to any who dared look, Tsunade. The Fifth Hokage of Konoha Village. Boy did I feel small right then. That woman was bound to squash the self esteem of even a lingerie model . . . with breast implants!
"So, this is the girl they were after? Doesn't look like much of a fighter. Her chakra readings are low and she doesn't have any skills," said Tsunade, circling me like a hawk.
"After? Kakashi! You never said anyone was after me!? You just said you were in a fight! Damn you!"
"He was under orders not to say anything. Their mission was to capture you and bring you back with them. Things got complicated and they met up with some resistance. You should be happy that they even thought about completeing the mission with such extensive injuries."
I glared at the woman. What else could I do? If I attacked her I was pretty much declaring war on Konoha. They would kill me without a second thought. Damn this whole situation. I wasn't used to controlling my temper.
"Well, now that we have you . . . what to do with you? I hadn't thought they would actually get across to your world so I hadn't thought this far ahead."
"If you didn't think we could do it why send us?" asked Sakura with a frown.
"There was always that slim chance you would. You guys always manage to do the missions no one else can. Now, I think the best thing to do would be to train you. You have to know how to defend yourself. I can't have people guarding you all the time and I'm sure you want to go home. I'll have Iruka give you personal academy training and then if you graduate you can train with Kakashi."
I was not pleased. True, it would be great to be a ninja but I did not want to have to learn. I hated schools of all forms and this was going to be hard from what I had read and seen. This totally sucked. Not to mention that eventually that hard headed moron would have to teach me eventually. And I couldn't go home until I learned how to defend my self from whatever was after me.
"And you can live with Kakashi until you can afford your own place!"
Kakashi and I spoke at the same time . . .
"NO!"
"OK!"
