Dance, Float Like a leaf on the breeze
4: Dance, Float Like a leaf on the breeze.
Ino slipped out of the house with an amazing lack of noise. The biggest problem with living in a ninja village was that most of her friends, and her included, had ninja parents.
Though a lot of them stopped doing missions once they had married and settled down, once a ninja always a ninja.
Ino’s parents always knew when she was home and the moment she left. Her most recent trick of being excessively noisy so they wouldn’t expect her to be quietly slipping out her window had gotten her three full lectures, the third being for the broken pot found a week later.
So, she had practiced stealth. Silent activities that drew them to her room for continual checkups for two weeks, then only occasionally for another week.
Now, they hardly bothered her, and she had managed three nights out in the last month without their detection. It was a major accomplishment for her. Here she was seventeen and they still treated her like a child.
She smiled to herself as she latched the door behind her and crept down the walk. Once she was several houses away she slipped on her sexiest shoes and assuming an air of confidence, strolled down the street.
He would be waiting, and tonight Yamanaka Ino would be very grown up indeed.
Bright lights filled the street as she turned a familiar corner and walked confidently up to the door.
Before opening it, she adjusted her hair in its usual ponytail, and shifted the tight black mesh tank top that she wore over a lacy black bra with a fuchsia vest and miniskirt. Her thigh high black fishnets stockings came two full inches below the skirts hem and showed her pale thighs to an advantage.
She looked hot and she knew it. The door swung open at her shove and she stepped in.
The bar, decked out with mosaic mirrors tiles, glittered in the flashing lights and she moved directly to it.
“Sake” she ordered and the man behind the bar eyed her.
“Ino-san, are you sure you should be drinking this?” he asked as he placed a small bottle on the table next to a wide shallow cup.
“Tobio, if you can serve it, I can drink it. We are the same age and you know it. We graduated the academy together.”
“Fine, just keep that to yourself. He’s in the bathroom, he'll be back real soon,” he said, trading the bottle for another. He moved down the bar to another customer, “What’ll it be tonight sir?” he asked, but Ino had turned away and was ignoring him.
From her place with her back to the bar, Ino could see anywhere in the joint including the alcove that led to the bathrooms. She sipped at her Saki, smiling to herself that, thanks to her threat, Tobio had given her the good stuff not the watered down slop he fed to most of the under aged guests that came in.
She downed the cup and put it back on the bar, as she saw the door open and watched a figure emerge. Ino smiled as she saw the recognition in his eyes when he saw her there and hurried over.
“I was almost afraid you wouldn’t be able to get out tonight, Ino-chan. How did you manage?” he asked, his brown eyes running up and down her body assessing her choice for an outfit.
“Never worry about it, Iyashi. If I want out, I get out. And after that last mission I needed a lot of out. Can you do that for me, Iyashi? Can you take me out?”
The medic ninja leaned closer and ran his hand over her bare arms, “I think that what you need right now is more in the lines of In. You in my room and Me in you. What do you think, Ino-chan?” he breathed on her shoulder before kissing the exposed skin and nipping gently at it.
Ino pushed him back, “Not so fast. I just bought a bottle of sake and I intend to drink all of it. And I’ll be doing some dancing tonight. I may dance with you or someone else, but I will be dancing.”
“Oh, all right. So, drink some more, then let’s dance.” He agreed, reluctantly as she turned to her cup and refilled it.
Once that cup was emptied, Ino followed Iyashi out to the floor and began moving to the music.
Genma had dropped his students off at their homes and gone home. He was tense and not ready for sleep.
He took a quick shower and stood before his closet, a towel draped sloppily around his hips. He grabbed out a pair of pants that Kakashi had talked him into buying and a decent shirt and tossed them on his bed. Once he had shaved and brushed everything that needed brushing, he pulled on his clothes and headed out the door.
When he entered the bar, he wasn’t sure what he had planned. He shifted the toothpick from one side of his mouth to the other as he headed for the bar.
The bartender was busy with another customer when he stepped up to the bar, but quickly came over and offered to help him
Genma ordered a beer, and turned to look down the bar. The other customer was the blonde Chuunin from that morning. She was watching the crowd as she drank her drink and by the way she downed the cup, Genma knew she was no stranger to strong drink. He tipped his beer, idly watching her and the direction she was looking when a medic-Nin started for her. Genma knew this guy. He was okay at his job and the special Jounin would trust him with the members of his team, but the guy was a player and, if Genma had one, he wouldn’t trust him with his sister.
He chuckled to himself, as the man pawed at the girl and she pushed him away. He recognized the look she had on her face, and knew full well that he did not fool her, in the least.
Yeah, he might see some action, but she would make sure he jumped through a few hoops to get it.
Genma watched them moved to the dance floor and decided he would put the man through his paces a little, also.
Finding a table was easy, as the patrons were not here for relaxation of that type. He sat and watched the dancers and sipped at his beer. When he had finished it, he stood and worked his way to the gyrating couple and tapped the medic on the shoulder.
“Butting in, dya mind?” he drolled, and the surprised man stammered something and stepped away. Genma took hold of the girl’s hand and began to move along with her.
She was shocked by the sudden change and was about to protest until she noticed the look on Iyashi face and stifled a laugh. She looked up at her new dancing partner and realized it couldn’t hurt to dance with him, and she’d get him back for embarrassing her, later. So, she danced.
Genma had a lot of experience on the dance floor, though it was not well known about him. He had a distant relative in the Village of the Rain and she loved to dance and had taught him everything she could force him to learn. For the purpose of having a partner, of course. He moved fluidly and those near couldn’t help but notice that he had a presence. He caught a few looks and by the end of the dance, two very pretty and scantily clad young ladies stepped up to him and invited him to partner with them. One was a redhead, the other a brunette. Genma was, if nothing else, a gentleman. He ignored his first partner and moved away with the girls.
Ino was left standing alone and becoming furious. The brazen Jounin had butted into her dance and then just walked away as if she was nothing more than a piece of furniture.
Oooh, the punishments she could put him through.
Iyashi found her and tried to get her attention, but she was too angry. She moved back to the bar and finished her bottle of sake in one long gulp.
Genma saw her from where he danced with the redhead, and smiled lightly. That was interesting. He vowed to see if he could get under the girls skin a little more, and by the way she was drinking and pushing away Lover-boy, he had obviously gotten in, this time.
::: Sparks fly off of a blonde ponytail. And I duck to avoid character to author massacre. How do you like them so far???
Yes, I did promise some Genma/Ino action and it's coming, but right now I doubt I could talk Ino into even speaking to the bastard. Be patient.
Serenia - Yeah, I love giving everyone a past, it's more fun than researching the names of their parents and just how old each character is, but hey its all part and parcel. I figure that Asuma was busy and left the boy in the care of Ebisu. My research brings up the fan-based arguments that Sarutobi is Sandaime's given name but not his family name. I doubt that Masashi Kishimoto is foolish enough to use the same name for one family and another personal name. Get real. Also, I am assuming that the mother is dead, so I don't have to name her and stuff. Okay? There are some more pairings coming up and a few big surprises so keep following me, I am taking a round about trip here.
Oh, and before anyone maims me. I know that the three new genin are actually under the guidance of Ebisu, but really, that guy is disturbed. I think Genma will do a better job.
Ruka - Glad to see your still with us. I hope you like it all, and here you go - Another update.
