Naruto POV
They where walking down the street toward him, he almost flinched when Kori grinned at him. He looked around to see Naji still argueing with the Ramen vender. Crap! He thought in a hurry, he didn't want to see Naji get hurt, nor did he want her to see him being a coward.
"Hello Naruto! I wanted to talk to you, but you seem to be busy pigging out on Ramen, as usual!" Some of the others laughed.
"I hope you don't get girls to fight your missions for you!" They laughed even harder.
"Naruto! Want to go to the stream?" He saw Naji run up, her strange red outfit flowing behind her. Some of the boys flinched, Kori and Vera grinned. They watched Naji walk up and stand beside Naruto.
Naji POV
Hello, Kori, Vera.........." She went silent and glared at them. Naruto looked scared and she didn't like that. She had just made a friend, for the first time in a long time and she didn't like it when her friends felt threatened.
"Naruto, lets go to the stream now....I want to go swimming!"
Naruto seemed startled, he looked at her with wide eyes and she giggled. Kori was also watching her, his grin if possible went wider and more malicious. She saw him out of the corner of her eye but payed it no mind. She slowly dragged Naruto toward the woods and soon, with the boys far behind them, he began to ease up.
"Do you even know how to swim? i thought you came from the village of Fire?"
She smiled in understanding.
"Many people think that because we are the Village of Fire that we don't have any water at all. Wich isn't true, we are called the Village of Fire for the volcanoe that is close to us." When they got to the stream she wasn't surprised to see Kori and his gang.
"What are you doing here?" She asked in a polite yet sarcastic tone.
"I've come to make you my new wench!" He laughed when she shivered.
She watched his eyes and new instantly that what was happening to him was what had happened to the men of her village.
Naruto POV
he saw her eyes grow with fear and he got angry. He didn't know why but he wanted to protect her with heart and soul. When one of the boys grabbed her from behind, in a way that she couldn't escape, and run his fingers over her neck he was furious.
"Let Her Go!" He whispered savagely.
"What did you say Baka (idiot/moron)?" Sneered kori.
"Let Her Go Now!" He yelled even more savagely. When Kori looked at him he knew something was different. He watched Naruto's eyes get colder and his nails grow wider. Now the boys where scared.
"Naruto....your a Demon?" Naji half whispered in awe. When naruto turned to see her in the arms of the other boy he moved like lightning and attacked the boy from behind. When she dropped to the ground he helped her up gently.
"Are you alright?" He stated worridly. He didn't know what was happening to him, usually when he went demon he had no control over it. How did Naji have that effect on him?
"I'm fine Naruto, just don't hurt them please...." She was nearly begging him....but he felt that they needed to be punished....but for what? Why didn't he attack them when they beat him? Why hadn't he attacked them earlier? Then it hit him.....the Kunai i mean. But insteadof it sinking into his flesh it just bounced off of him. Vera grabbed Naji around the neck and held her there.
"You attack us...and I'll break her neck....." Vera looked like he would die of fright at any minute, Naruto wanted to have fun with that....one problem though, he held Naji.
"oikisenzou.....(made up word)" Vera seemed to fly backwards and Naji landed on the ground safe and sound. Naruto glanced left and right. Who had used the juutsuu?
"It's nice to have back up juutsuu and defence juutsuu aint it!....Let's leave Naruto!" This time it was begging.
Naji POV
She hadn't seen anything like it in her life! Naruto was a demon, that meant that there was a person similar to her..... being what she is and all.
"Naruto....i have to go to a council meeting with the Hokage.....i'm sorry you can't come but it's about my schooling so....." She smiled when he pouted.
"But Naaajiiiii! it's the day before we have to go to school! You should take this day off!" She just giggled and waved goodbye. Then with the flick og her fingers she disappeared.
Walking down the street she thought she felt eyes on her back, but when she turned around it was nothing. She continued on toward the hokage's household when somone grabbed her and placed a cloth over her mouth.....the first thing she thought was: this ninja is more skilled than me....the second thing was i can't breathe...i feel drowzy.....
then she was gone.
