Chapter 4: Sakura's Decision
Chapter Four: Sakura’s Decision
Time: The present
One year after Naruto had fully transformed into the nine-tailed fox Sakura had to make a decision of her own. Should she go in search of Naruto or stay in Konoha and become the mother of the next generation of Uchiha.
“Sakura are you still listening to me? Look if you want to daydream you can leave but I still have things I want to talk to you about” said Tsunade.
“I’m sorry Tsunade-sama I didn’t mean to drift I was just thinking of things that happened a year ago and things that happened just a few minutes ago”, said Sakura.
“Well now that that is over. I told you those things because I need to know of your decision?”
“My decision, what do you mean Tsunade-sama”.
“Whether you are going to stay here in Konoha or go and search after the Kyuubi and Naruto that is what I need to know, Sakura”.
“Truthfully I really do not know what I want to do”
Just then Shizune broke in and said, “What does your heart tell you to do, Sakura”.
“I’m sorry but if you want to go to see Naruto I have a special team assigned for you, but what I need from you is if you really want to go to see him. If you do decide to go let me know”.
“Thank you Tsunade-sama you have given me much to think about”, said Sakura as she bowed and left.
“Shizune do you think that she is going to go see him?” said Tsunade.
Later that night Sasuke came to Sakura’s apartment in order to find out about her decision.
“Hey Sakura, have you decided on whether or not you want to become my wife or not”.
“Sasuke, I am not sure right now. We finally got a message of the Kyuubi’s whereabouts and I am thinking about seeing him. I am reminded of what Captain Yamato had said to me the day Naruto fully transformed that I may be the only one who can bring him back”.
“I see you would choose Naruto over me, the one you have loved for a long time and has never let go of. You would choose that loser over the one you love”.
“I don’t know Sasuke, I really do not know, but Naruto was always there for me and he was always the one who ends up saving me. Now is my chance to save him, I’m sorry Sasuke find someone else to be your wife”.
“SAKURA I want you, not someone else PLEASE Sakura be with me”.
“Thank you Sasuke, for making the decision I was worried to make. You being like this just gave me all the more reason to look for Naruto. Good-bye Sasuke when next we meet things will be different”.
