Chapter 4
*********
Naruto was on cloud nine. He had been all morning. Currently, he was humming a little tune and throwing a steamer mug into the air.
He loved his job.
Moving on autopilot, Naruto made drink after drink, providing showmanship for the customers as well as quality drinks. His smile never faded. Iruka was beginning to wonder what was wrong with him.
After Naruto made the perfect cappuccino for one of their more picky and grouchy customers and delivered it with a warm-hearted “Thank you,” Iruka really began to worry.
‘Naruto hates that old woman. What’s going on?’ Suspecting a life threatening illness, Iruka told Naruto to take a ten.
“But Iruka! I’m just getting warmed up! I got here five minutes ago. What’s up with you?” Naruto was more than a little confused.
Iruka shook his head. “Fine, keep working. But I want to talk to you at the soonest possible moment.”
That ‘soonest possible moment’ happened to walk through the door just then.
“You’re late!” Naruto yelled through the café. There, clad in black slacks and a forest green button up shirt, stood the second owner of Fermé la Bouche. With a black mask covering the lower half of his face, a dark bandana covering his forehead and left eye, and a shock of disobedient white hair, Kakashi walked over slowly; coolly.
“Oh, you think you’re so cool walking in three hours late? Iruka had to call me in early because of the rush!” He had been making out with Sasuke, well on their way to making love again, when Naruto got the call. He had been sorely tempted to ignore it, but once he saw it was from Iruka, he knew he couldn’t. Naruto’s temporary anger vanished rapidly at the thought of Sasuke. A stupid smile crossed his features again as he turned away from Kakashi and began to wipe down the countertops.
Seeing this, Kakashi lifted an eyebrow toward Iruka. Iruka rolled his eyes and tilted his head back, indicating to Kakashi that he wanted to talk to him in the back room.
The two men disappeared into the back, leaving the café in more than capable hands.
“Kakashi, by God, you better have a good excuse for being this late! I even set the alarm clock!” Iruka was furious. “I shouldn’t have had to call Naruto and interrupt his Sunday morning!” Iruka resorted to pacing back and forth across the tile floor, avoiding the round oak table in the center of the room.
Amused, Kakashi leaned against the door frame. His lover looked so cute when he was pissed.
“What’s wrong, Iruka? You’re never this upset when I’m late.” Kakashi smirked. Even at their first date, he was late. ‘But only by two hours!’ Kakashi remembered the near beating he had gotten by the brunette.
Iruka stopped pacing by the table, only to lean on it. A concerned look crossed his features as he told Kakashi what was on his mind.
“I’m worried about Naruto. You saw his behavior. Yeah, he’s a happy kid, but he’s never this energetic after being called into work on a Sunday morning.” Iruka shook his head.
Kakashi watched Iruka and began to chuckle. Iruka’s head whipped up and he began to glare at Kakashi.
“I don’t find anything amusing about this. Care to enlighten me?” Iruka’s voice had dropped down an octave, giving an ominous threat.
“Oh, Iruka,” Kakashi began, still chuckling slightly. “Remember when you and I first started to date?” Iruka nodded, not seeing where this was going. “Remember when we first fooled around?” Kakashi’s voice had dropped to a seductive whisper. Iruka gulped. “Remember when I took you as my lover for the first time?” Iruka blushed deeply at Kakashi’s seductive manner, trying to concentrate on what was going on.
Kakashi walked toward Iruka, seeing the affect his words were having on the poor man. Smirking, he brushed his body against Iruka’s, and leaned lower to whisper into his ear. “More importantly, do you remember what you were like the next day?”
These words made Iruka hesitate and think about the answer. He didn’t like his conclusion.
Kakashi smiled warmly at Iruka. “Yes, you were as happy as a clam. I remember people trying to figure out what happened to you to cause such a dramatic change in personality in less than twenty-four hours.” Kakashi chuckled. “The truth was that you had gotten thoroughly laid. One must wonder; did the same thing happen to Naruto last night?”
Iruka gasped. Then he blanched, only to be followed by a biggest blush Kakashi had ever seen on him.
“Okay, Okay, fine!” Iruka huffed. “Let’s just get back to work.” With that, Iruka left Kakashi chuckling in the back room.

Sasuke found himself walking down the street towards the café, armed with his backpack which was full of study materials and homework. He had no idea why he was going to the café to study when he knew full well that he would be distracted by a certain blond employee. As he entered the café, he began to understand his reasoning.
He was addicted.
Last night was raw, lustful, sexy, hard, and beautiful. He had never had such great sex before. He knew that part of the reason it was so fulfilling was because of his growing connection to Naruto. He could only wonder what it would be like later when that connection was strong and true. He was a little afraid and miffed that somebody could get under his skin like Naruto was.
The first thing he saw inside the café was Naruto throwing that steel steamer mug up in the air. It seemed as though the world narrowed down to focus solely on Naruto. He watched the concentration furrow Naruto’s brow, the small bead of sweat at his temple slowly making its way down his whiskered cheek, and the slight shift of muscle under his t-shirt as he caught the mug.
Sasuke’s mouth went dry and to his astonishment he began to grow hard. Cursing under his breath, he quickly snagged his spot next to the window.
In an effort to distract himself, he opened his pack and grabbed his Calculus book. He had already completed the homework assignment within 5 hours after it being assigned, but there was an exam that he needed to finish preparing for. He also grabbed his binder, pens, pencils, and his TI-83 Plus.
Looking at his study sheet, he started to work out the first problem. He was doing a pretty damn good at ignoring the distraction of his lover. However, when a big tan hand placed a Chai Tea latte on his study sheet, thoughts of rumpled bed sheets, sweat, and moans filled his head.
“Hey, handsome.” Naruto grinned. “Didn’t expect to see you until tonight.” He winked.
Sasuke couldn’t stop the smirk or the glint of want from entering his eyes. “Hi, dobe.”
A flash of irritation flew through Naruto’s deep blue eyes. “Why do you call me that, teme?”
“That’s for me to know and you to figure out… dobe.” He added after a pause.
Naruto rolled his eyes and sat down opposite Sasuke. “Here’s one of those Chai Tea lattes. I made it this time.”
Sasuke lifted the cup and toasted Naruto in thanks before taking a sip. “Mmm, pretty good.” He couldn’t take his eyes of Naruto. He looked so delicious in that tight black t-shirt. “What’s your schedule like today?” He asked in between sips.
“Eh, not too shabby actually. It sucked getting called out early this morning, but the good part about that is that I get out earlier today. Kakashi is taking over my evening shift, so I’m out of here by 5. Did you want to do anything with me after work? I have some Theory homework to finish up and I’d like to get some practicing in, but other than that, I’m free.”
Naruto could be long winded when he wanted to be, Sasuke thought. “Sure. I have to study for this Calculus test, but I’ll probably do that here then walk you home at 5. I’m sure we could see each other again at 8 or something.”
Naruto smiled. “I’d like that. Enjoy that tea. I have to get back to showing off. See you!” With that, Naruto winked again and sauntered off. Sasuke’s eyes were drawn to Naruto’s hips and ass, clad in loose blue jeans that rode deliciously low.
Feeling himself get aroused again, Sasuke inhaled more tea and went back to studying his Calculus.

5 PM
********
Sasuke had finished his studying several hours ago and moved onto his Physics. That exam was later on in the week, but it never hurt to start studying early.
He watched Naruto make his last drinks of the evening and wipe down the counters and espresso machine. Giving Kakashi a pat on the back, he slipped into the back room and clocked out. Shouting his goodbye to Iruka over his shoulder, Naruto emerged from the back room and made his way toward Sasuke’s table.
“Ready?” Naruto smiled. Sasuke nodded and gathered his things quickly.
Not even a minute later, they were walking down the street. Close, but not touching. Naruto wanted more than anything to grab Sasuke’s hand and hold it, but he wasn’t sure how comfortable Sasuke was with that part of their relationship. Given his reaction last night at the party, he figured it wasn’t a good idea to start showing the world that they were a couple.
Were they a couple? He knew a lot of people got together frequently, hooking up at parties and whatnot, yet they didn’t attach themselves to anybody else. He wondered what Sasuke thought about the matter.
Shrugging it off, Naruto just focused on the moment with Sasuke. The sun was setting, casting its glowing rays of orange over the town, as if caressing everything in a final goodbye before reappearing in the morning. This was Naruto’s favorite time of day. He was filled with nostalgia and comfort, almost suffocating in its strength.
Before he thought twice about it, he grabbed Sasuke’s hand and ran off toward the same park they had visited some nights ago. He felt romantic and wanted to share the moment with Sasuke in a secluded place where they didn’t have to worry about people and their opinions.
Once they arrived, Sasuke tugged his hand out of Naruto’s, grumbling and frowning. He realized that they were in the park and looked at Naruto with a raised eyebrow. Naruto grinned at him and tossed his head to the side, indicating that Sasuke was to follow, but Sasuke found himself stuck to the ground. He couldn’t move, and his breath was stolen away by the image before him.
Naruto had tossed his head, and his golden hair caught the remnants of the sun’s rays, giving the blond an ethereal aura. Naruto was now looking off toward the horizon, toward the setting sun. It framed his face, with such a strong profile, and bathed his tan skin in an orange glow. His stunning blue eyes moved again and caught Sasuke’s gaze, smiling warmly. Sasuke knew that he would never forget this moment for as long as he lived.
Naruto rolled his eyes and sighed at Sasuke’s apparent thick-headedness, and grabbed his hand again, pulling toward a far corner of the park, closer to the setting sun.
Not many people were in the park enjoying the remaining minutes of daylight. Sasuke felt the strongest urge to pull his hand out of Naruto’s grasp, but decided to amuse Naruto for a while longer. Soon, they were isolated; the closest people wouldn’t be able to see who they were without binoculars.
Satisfied, Naruto turned to Sasuke. He didn’t drop his hand, and Sasuke didn’t let go. The second their eyes met, they were in their own world, one with the setting sun. Sasuke lifted his other hand, and threaded his long fingers through Naruto’s golden tresses, enjoying the softness and the warmth of the other boy. Naruto’s eyelids drifted to half-mast, gazing at Sasuke with warmth and a hint of lust. There was something else there, but Sasuke couldn’t quite figure out what it was.
With his hand clasped in Naruto’s, his other hand caressing the blond locks, Sasuke felt his heart leap and stutter, and finally, it fell. Sasuke was lost in those deep blue eyes reflecting the last rays of the sun. With a weightlessness that he had never felt before, Sasuke leaned toward Naruto and claimed the blond’s lips with his.
It wasn’t like other kisses they’ve shared. This was soft, this was comforting, and this shared warmth unlike anything they’ve ever experienced. Languidly, they discovered each other’s mouths again, wallowing in each others unique tastes and textures.
Time stood still for them. For that one moment, it seemed that the earth had stopped moving. It was that moment when Sasuke realized that he had fallen in love.
The kiss ended, with them wrapped around each other, but the moment did not. They looked toward the setting sun, holding each other. Sasuke did not want to let go just yet, with his newly discovered love. He was vulnerable; he didn’t know he could ever love somebody like this. He was nuzzling Naruto’s hair with his lips, enjoying the sent and nipping at his ear. Before he could think to stop them, the words came out in a hoarse whisper.
“I love you, Naruto.”
Sasuke froze. Here was the moment where Naruto would shove him away. Naruto couldn’t possibly want to be with somebody so cold and so harsh.
Naruto, who had been relaxed and peaceful, who had been enjoying the nuzzling of Sasuke’s mouth, also froze. Then it seemed that the door burst open in his heart and love came tumbling forth, nearly drowning him.
He turned his head, looking straight into Sasuke’s dark eyes. He saw the fear, he saw the astonishment of his actions, he saw the hope, but more importantly, he saw the love that Sasuke claimed he had toward Naruto.
“I love you, too, Sasuke.”
Sasuke’s heart stopped, his lungs seized, and, to his embarrassment, he felt tears enter his eyes. He squeezed his eyes shut, hoping to push back the tears, but the tears were relentless, pushing past and leaving small trails down his cheeks. He felt the words all they way into his cold heart, breaking the ice away and filling it with warm love.
Naruto saw the flash of complete happiness in Sasuke’s eyes, the overwhelming joy, before Sasuke shut his eyes. Seeing the tears fight their way through the eyelids, Naruto smiled softly before gently leaning forward and kissing the tears away.
After a few moments, when Sasuke pulled himself together, and Naruto basked in the joy of love, they separated. They still kept their hands clasped together and said goodbye to the sun as they walked to Sasuke’s room.
Their plans had allotted them a few hours to complete homework and for Naruto to practice, but at that moment, neither of them cared. Their new found love was wrapped around them, shielding them from the rest of the world and the responsibility it held.
Upon entering Sasuke’s room, Sasuke realized that Neji had come and gone again, which made him exceedingly grateful. He led Naruto to his bed, then grabbed a Post-it, hastily scribbled “busy” on it, and taped it over the key pad on their door. Neji would get the message.
When he turned back around, he saw his love stretched out over his bed covers, looking at him with such love and lust that Sasuke thought he’d melt right there. He felt himself grow impossibly hard and walked over to his bed.
Reaching the bed, he sat on the side, looking at Naruto. The blue eyes met his gaze and he was drawn down to cover Naruto’s mouth with his.
It was soft this time. Gentle, comforting, and loving. Sasuke didn’t know he was capable of such tenderness in bed.
The clothing came off slowly, almost teasingly. Skin started to glow with sweat and the remaining red rays of the sun. Groans, moans, gasps, pants, and sounds of sucking and kissing became the standard repertoire of the room.
When Sasuke slipped his mouth over Naruto’s cock, they both let out a simultaneous moan, Sasuke with the joy of pleasuring his lover, Naruto with the wet heat enveloping his cock and soon with the vibrations added by Sasuke’s moan.
While sucking Naruto, Sasuke slicked his fingers with lube and gently started preparing Naruto. It didn’t take long, and soon, with the added stimulation to his prostate, Naruto was cumming into Sasuke’s mouth.
Swallowing it all, Sasuke cleaned off Naruto’s cock and raised himself to kiss Naruto deeply, sharing the taste of Naruto’s essence.
He quickly slicked his cock with lube and positioned himself at Naruto’s entrance. He looked at his lover, who was panting, glistening with sweat, and had an intoxicated look in his eyes. He smiled reassuringly and began to enter slowly, loving the instant when Naruto’s outer muscle would allow Sasuke in, nearly sucking the rest of him in.
Sasuke set a slow and loving pace, brushing his hands all over Naruto, caressing his hair, his shoulders, his chest, and his hips. He noticed Naruto’s growing length and wrapped his hand around it, adding the pressure Naruto wanted.
Bowing his back off the bed, Naruto crowed with pleasure. He begged for Sasuke to move faster, harder, while desperately trying to shift himself so Sasuke would hit that wonderful place hidden deep inside him.
After Sasuke finally hit it, Naruto almost blacked out with delight. He was tossing his head back and forth, lost in the intense pleasure. Sasuke couldn’t hold on any longer and quickly dipped his head down to Naruto’s ear.
“I love you, Naruto. Oh God, do I love you!” And with that, Sasuke moaned long and low as he came deep into Naruto.
Hearing Sasuke’s words of love laced with divine pleasure, Naruto moaned his love to Sasuke as he came hard.
Sasuke collapsed onto Naruto, snuggling his face into Naruto’s musky neck. Completely and utterly relaxed, Sasuke basked in the afterglow of amazing sex. It was different with love, he mused. It was wonderful and fulfilling. He knew that he would never find anything like it for the rest of his life.
In sudden desperation, he clung to Naruto. “Don’t ever leave me, Naruto. I love you. Please…” he stopped. He was begging, and he realized that he didn’t care. Love really was a vulnerable feeling. He almost hated it. But it was also very liberating.
He felt Naruto’s hands rub his back and caress his hair. “Shhh, I’m not going anywhere. I love you, Sasuke. I’ll love you forever.” Naruto realized the truth to his statements. It was amazing how quickly love acted. And it did last forever, even when separated.
Comforted, both men relaxed and fell into blissful sleep.
