The Fate's Finisher.

Naruto had awoken later in the afternoon to Gaara's calls that more enemies were in the village. Lee was holding them up, but he needed help. Naruto was ready in an instant. He made his way to Gaara's side and Sasuke was there as well. These foes were like the others, they attempted to draw out the ninja and spread them throughout the woods. It had almost worked the first time, but this was starting to piss both Naruto and Gaara off.

"Why do they keep attacking this way?" Naruto growled angrily. "They must realize it's stupid." Gaara was equally perplexed, though he was begining to wonder something. However he put his thoughts aside and focused the sand spirit to see if he could pick up who they were dealing with. His face would have shown disgust if it wasn't so stoic. "Naruto, eleven." Naruto slammed his fist into his palm as he continued to fly through the trees. "Damn, the least they could do is give me a challenge." He said grinning.

"Naruto!" Gaara said sharply. Naruto, looked innocent as usual. "What?" He looked indignant. "Shut up, we're here." Naruto's face turned serious. "Gaara, be safe ok?" Naruto said in a worried tone. "Naruto, you too." Said the sand ninja stone cold. "Right." Sasuke just hung back and watched the two interact and was amazed by the fact that Naruto didn't seem to be doing anything stupid.

They landed in an open patch of trees and the three fanned out as Lee arrived, looking tired but unhurt. "Fuzzy brows, you allright." Naruto asked firmly. "Yes." Lee answered quickly. "Sakura is on her way back to the Village from her mission. Somehow she got word that Hokage-sama was diverted to the sound village and attacked by the same type of warriors we are.....??!" As he finished he saw Sasuke and stopped in suprised. Gaara intervened. "We don't have time to explain right now Lee." He said quickly and firmly. Lee obeyed, it didn't mean he could focus on the task at hand with someone he believed gone to be less than five feet away,

"Here they come!" Naruto Cried. "Kage bunshin no jutsu." Several clones of Naruto appeared. Sasuke tracked the real Naruto, he was amazed that Naruto seemed so focused alot of times he would let himself get confused or tricked and Sasuke would have to step in, it didn't that way right now. He just watched as all the shadow clones took on an enemy and then something amazing happened. "For you Lee!" Naruto cried and it seemed that all his clones started to preform level one Taijutsu.

"Very good Naruto, Master Gai will be impressed." Gaara kept his sand shield on alert incase other foes might be lurking as he watched Naruto work. Having lived with Naruto, Gaara knew how hard he had had to work to just get to level one and he was glad that his love's hard work had paid off. But just as he got sucked into watching Naruto, he heard the boy scream.

"Gaara, behind you!" Before he could react however, the mysterious ninja had thrown three Shirkens one caught Gaara on the arm and two caught Naruto in the top of his left shoulder. "Damn it." Naruto swore as he fought to control the pain. The dark ninja had vanished along with Naruto's clones and Gaara bent down to a kneeling Naruto. "Are you ok." A inaduble hint of concern on his voice. "Yeah, I just gotta stop...doing....ahhhh..." He ripped out the sherikens. "That." Gaara looked apologetic. "Sorry, I didn't even sense him. "It's ok, I'm fine." He said as blood continued down the arm of his jacket.

"Naruto." Both Lee and Sasuke called at the same time. He held up his hand the let them know he was fine. He turned his attention the the ninja all dressed in red and grinned angrily. "Lucky shot, now what the hell are you doing in my village!?" The ninja who's face was masked seemed to smile. "I am here for Sasuke." Naruto looked in suprise at this. These warriors had attacked the last six days. How could they have known Sasuke was here. Naruto looked at Sasuke who looked equally surprised by the idea.

"I'm sure he thought he lost us, but Orochimaru has a hefty reward for his return and I intend to collect. Sasuke, how could you return to the most obvious place in the world we would look for you. You're such a fool."

Naruto could tell this was getting to Sasuke. "He's not a fool, you're the fool for challenging his friend Naruto Uzumaki! He came for his friend's help and I'm not going to turn him away." Sasuke stood silent. He was in disbelief. "I will protect him with my life." The ninja seemed to smile again. "Even if you defeat me, there are others. I have attacked this village for the last six days to gain information on it's defenses. All that information has already been sent back to Orochimaru. Though I was distressed to learn that you hadn't changed much since he attacked you last."

Sasuke was overwhelmed. He didn't know wether to scream or cry or attack or run away. He just stood motionless. "We sent false mission letters to the Hokage and a sound village treaty once we felt Sasuke would make his move. You all have been trapped."

"Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!" Naruto yelled and then all the many hundred clones yelled "Shut up!" and pummelled the red ninja who apparently had no idea this was even possible and was defeated quickly. Naruto decided it was best not to try and persue him because he didn't know the extent of his shoulder injury. He ridded the area of his clones and went to Sasuke's side.

"Naruto, you are so different." Sasuke said softly almost sad. Naruto blushed and rubbed the back of his blonde head letting a chuckle escape. "Not really." Sasuke was devistated. "I lead them here, you're all in danger. I should go." Naruto put on a stern face. "You're not leaving again Sasuke, do you here me?! Where else will you go? Don't be stupid."
Sasuke wanted to shout at Naruto, but he couldn't bring himself to.

"Look, we're all friends here, that means that we take risks for eachother. Besides, it does us no good if you just get caught by Orochimaru again." He placed his hand on Sasuke's shoulder. "I won't let anything bad happen Sasuke, I will make a plan."

Later as everything calmed down. Gaara and Naruto went to their home and Sasuke agreed to stay with Lee because Sakura would probably have to visit Naruto and tend his wounds when she returned. Gaara did his best to patch up Naruto, but with no medical training he always felt unsure of his work nor wether Naruto was being honest when he said it felt fine.

"Is it ok?" Gaara asked softly. Naruto Nodded. "It will be fine Gaara." Gaara stared at the bandaged shoulder as well as the bare chest of his love. He was still worried. Naruto could tell.

"Gaara, it's fine." and he lifted the boy from his knees and brought him to his lips. Gaara softly ablidged and returned a kiss, which soon turned passionate. Naruto laid down and Gaara slipped on top of him. Slowly they removed their remaining clothes. For Gaara, sex was the most emotional he ever felt. It was yeilding to uncontrollable passion, something he did rarely. As he entered Naruto and started the slow build up of passion in Naruto and himself. He felt alive, human, beautiful

"Naruto." Gaara Panted.
"Gaara." Naruto returned.

Naruto's Moaned softly as Gaara's pace quickened. Naruto's Nails scratched Gaara's back as he felt himself come. His love soon joined him. It was always in the after glow that Gaara seemed the most open and as Naruto snuggled up on his chest, he kissed the boys head and rubbed his hair.

"Love you Naruto" Gaara said in a whisper
"Me too." Naruto replied sleepily. Gaara knew what he meant and smiled a bit. Dreams soon took them both.
