He arrived at the ramen bar and looked around. She wasn’t here.
Waste of time, and here I actually thought it would be that easy.
“Hey, Old man!” Looking up he sees Naruto speaking with the bar owner.
“Naruto, What can I get you tonight?”
Naruto? Perfect. He’s her teammate. He’ll know where she is.
Walking up to the ramen bar, he takes a seat next to Naruto. ”Hey Naruto.”
“Huh? Who are you? What do you want?”
“What I can’t say hello?”
“Yeah well it’s not like I know who you are or anything, dattebayo.”
“Heh, true enough I suppose.” he leans back and sighs. “So Naruto. Where are those two friends you hang out with all the time? They dump you for someone cooler?” a smirk forms on his face, knowing it struck a nerve.
Naruto slumps on his stool a little bit. “Why should I care where Sasuke is? He’s a Jerk.”
Like I care where the Uchiha is, where’s the damn girl?
“So don’t care much for Uchiha? Can’t say I blame you.”
“Huh? Why not?” Naruto stares at him intently waiting for an answer.
Why is he staring at me like that?
“Stop staring at me like that, Naruto.”
“Well then tell me why you don’t like Sasuke either.” Now Naruto was grinning from ear to ear, apparently knowing someone else didn’t care for the Prodigy was enough to make him like them.
“Well I’ve seen him around. He treats people like they’re less then nothing. He’s a jerk to you as well. And…”
Sakura likes him.
“And?” He was looking far too intently now making him uncomfortable.
“And he reminds me of someone.” Not the whole truth but not a lie either. Naruto’s face sunk a little. Apparently he was expecting a better reason. ”So what about the other one? The Girl?”
“Sa-Sakura? Well I guess she’s doing….Girl stuff” a slight blush appearing on his face.
Girl Stuff? That’s real helpful Naruto! Wait…Was he blushing?
“Girl stuff, huh? Sounds…Boring. Looks like your better off without either of them.” By now the old man had finally brought Naruto his Ramen. And Naruto not missing a beat dug in with enough enthusiasm to ensure if anyone got there fingers too close they’d lose them.
“So*slurp* why did you want know where they were?”
“Hmm no particular reason.” He gets up leaving some money on the table. “Have some more Ramen it’s on me.” the next instant he’s gone, vanished via the shunshin
“Yeah! More ramen, Old man!”

Hmm a more boring chapter in my opinion. But I think it’s alright. Not sure on how OOC Naruto was though. I welcome comments so feel free to let me know If I portrayed him badly.
