When I look inside...

Finally uploading chapter 4! In this chapter I'll start to introduce other characters in the story so it won't get boring, there will be other pairings as well besides Naruto and Sasuke, I hope you like this chapter! Go read! XD

Chapter 4

“N-Naruto-kun!”

“Ohh, hi...Hinata...”

“Naruto-kun...”

“Hinata...”

“Naruto-kun...”

“Hinata...”

Hmmmm, riiiiight, what the hell is wrong with those two?? Sasuke thought while looking at the unmoving forms of Naruto and Hinata.

“Look, Hinata, um…the other day…”

“Um it’s alright N-Naruto-kun…it was…fun…” Hinata blushed furiously at her own statement.

Wait!! What?? What was fun?? Oh my God what did they do in that damn date?? Sasuke glared at Hinata with an I’m-so-going-to-kill-you look.

“Hinata…” Naruto felt embarrassed.

“N-Naruto-k…”

“Oh please will you two shut it??”

Sasuke placed himself in the middle of the two blushing teens. Just what the hell was going on? What a stupid conversation they were having. Wait, conversation, right, they weren’t even able to form sentences. Sasuke looked pissed.

Grabbing the blonde’s hand he strode to the classroom, Naruto could only give a small nod to Hinata as saying goodbye, he wasn’t able to do more, Sasuke was practically dragging him into the room.

Once inside the classroom they proceeded to their respective seats. Naruto was very quiet, it wasn’t normal for Naruto to be quiet, Sasuke figured it must have been quite a thing they both did, whatever it was. Could they have had…sex?? Sasuke quickly glared at the blonde, analyzing the situation, then shook his head. Well, if they did it, who cares? It’s not like he can’t sleep with whoever he wants, I don’t have anything to do with it…Alright maybe I have, I might be in love with the dobe. The room was stupidly quiet, Sasuke glanced around, only both of them were in the room, he pulled up his sleeve and checked the time. I entered the classroom a little too soon, half an hour to begin class…The dobe didn’t even notice it.

“Fuck Narutoooooo!” Sasuke banged his fists on the table waking the blonde from his trance. Naruto pouted and looked away from Sasuke.

“What the hell are you doing?!” Sasuke smacked the blonde. Naruto was really pissing him off today.

Naruto turned his head slowly to look at his friend. “I’m ignoring you.”

Uchiha’s coldness eye stare, Naruto was begging for it, just what the hell is wrong with him?

“What? Why? You stupid bastard!”

“Why?” Naruto stood up and grabbed Sasuke’s shirt by the collarbone. “I’m ignoring you because you’re gonna ask me what happened with me and Hinata and I. Don’t. Want. To. Tell. You. Period.”

“What? You’re being such a jerk just because of that?”

“I’m not answering that.”

That was it, Sasuke grabbed the blonde’s shoulders pinning him down on the table, Naruto struggled fisting his black haired friend on the chin, Sasuke backed up a few steps, a little surprised with Naruto’s attitude, but that didn’t keep him from grabbing the blonde and punch him on his stomach, Naruto bent down with the pain and took the chance to charge at Sasuke, they both fell on the floor, Naruto pinning down the raven haired boy.

“Who’s the seme now?” Naruto looked all but innocent. (AN:Seme is a term used in Man on man sexual relationships, basically, the seme is the one on top, in charge, whatever XD)

Sasuke stared, blushing, and wondering what drug Naruto was on. The stupid dobe, seme? They were having a fight, not a sexual battle for dominance, though Sasuke wouldn’t mind that. Shaking the images created in his mind by the perv side of his brain, Sasuke tried to break loose from the blonde’s grip, which revealed impossible when a few moments later, Sasuke was still pinned.

“What’s wrong with you Naruto, you were alright yesterday.”

“Who says I’m not alright?”

“Your behavior just now.”

“…” Naruto looked away from Sasuke.

“It’s not just the Hinata thing, you wouldn’t act like that just because of it. Could you get off of me please?” I’m beginning to lose my logical thinking.

Naruto complied blushing a little, he went back to his seat, Sasuke followed brushing off some dust on his uniform. Naruto seemed awkward , Sasuke was starting to get worried so he sat next to the blonde and put his hand on his friends shoulder.

“Naruto, you know you can always count on me, I’m here for you, you know that.”

Naruto took a deep breath, his cheeks flushing a little, he faced Sasuke with a determined but still worried look, Sasuke arched an eyebrow, this was getting weirder by the minute.

“Sasuke…I think I have a problem…”

Naruto could have finished his sentence, if Sakura hadn’t strode into the room like her life depended on it, she spotted her precious Uchiha next to the gruesome, blonde haired, blue eyed boy. Damn that hair of his and those eyes. Yeah, Sakura was jealous of the blonde, she wasn’t blind, that stupid idiot was getting hot. She stepped further into the room finding her way to the boys, Sasuke grunted in distaste at the sight of that pink haired nuisance, her presence disgusted him, he made sure she heard that noise, but she seemed not to care as she didn’t stop her trail to meet them.

“Hi Sasuke-kun!” A smile graced her lips, as she practically drooled over the Uchiha. Sasuke stood up trying to get away from that freak but she grabbed his arm.

“Fuck of Sakura, can’t you see I don’t like you? Are you that dense?”

Naruto looked at Sakura narrowing his eyes, it bothered him every time Sakura made her move on Sasuke, was she stupid or what? The fact that she insulted him didn’t help either, calling him dobe and idiot, just who does she think she is? He never did anything to her, and still, she hated him senseless, Naruto figured that instead of a heart she had a hole, she only cared, no, she didn’t care, she only wanted Uchiha because he doesn’t want her, it’s like a prize, she was an irritating pest.

SLAP!! The sound echoed throughout the room, Sakura’s face was turned to the left, her hand covering her cheek, Sasuke stood in the same place, a cold piercing stare looking at the obnoxious green eyed girl. Naruto looked intently at her, it suits her, he was glad Sasuke slapped her. She didn’t move for a while, then, after some time, she straightened up, Uchiha’s hand marked on her face, all five fingers clearly visible, Sakura eyed Sasuke with an angry fuming expression.

“Hn, you’ll pay for this Uchiha, you’ll be mine, and as for you…” She looked in the direction Naruto was in pointing her finger. “…you won’t beat me, I’ll get him first you moron.”

“What the hell are you talking about? Are you crazy??”

“NO! Think I didn’t notice the way you look at him? You can fool everyone Uzumaki, but me, me you can’t.”

“What?? The way I look at him? He’s my friend for GOD’s sake!!” Naruto raised his hands to his head. “You know what? This conversation is pointless, I’m not going to argue with you, you’re demented.”

“No, you’r----“

“Enough Haruno.” Sasuke grabbed Sakura’s wrist squeezing hard. “I won’t admit this, nobody insults Naruto in front of me. Get lost before I send you to hospital, and I mean it!”

Some students started entering the classroom, Sasuke let go of Sakura but kept looking at her with a disgusted stare. She smirked.

“I can’t get lost, I’m in the same class as you at this hour remember? Ice Prince.”

“What a nice welcoming, after all that trouble we went through, Itachi…” Naruto paused for a second. “We come to school and Sakura pisses us off.”

Sasuke shoved the dorm door open remembering the little talk they had with Sakura that morning and Itachi, that bastard. Things were already bad, and Sakura was adding herself to the collection, she can’t take a hint, no, not a hint, Sasuke was through with hints, he now clearly showed her that he hated her. Which obviously didn’t have effect either, that crazy girl didn’t leave him alone. That’s about enough ranting, Sasuke decided to prepare dinner for both he and his dobe. Wait, his dobe? Yeah, Sasuke already admitted his feelings, what’s the point in denying?

“Dobe, what do you want for dinner? And no, there’s no ramen.”

Naruto scowled and pursed his lips, he narrowed his eyes and glared at Sasuke.

“You big meanie!”

Sasuke just rolled his eyes.

“Anyways, Sasuke today I won’t eat here.”

Did he heard right? Naruto wasn’t going to eat there? Then where the hell was he going to eat? Sasuke didn’t like this at all he hid his surprised face and put on a blank stare, like he didn’t care at all, which was obviously a lie, he just didn’t want Naruto to notice his huge concern, and irritation too, when he thought his voice was calm enough to speak he asked the blonde where he was going to have dinner.

“Neji invited me to go at Ichiraku’s ramen. He knows I love ramen so he invited me!”

Sasuke wanted to rip that Neji guy apart.

“W-When did he invite you? I didn’t notice anything.”

Naruto looked at the ceiling after a few seconds his face brightened up.

“Ah! It was when I went to the bathroom, I accepted right away, I kinda like him, he’s cool and nice!” Naruto giggled.

Sasuke didn’t think that was funny at all, he clenched his fists, what’s the Hyuuga boy trying to do? Everyone hated Naruto at that school, except for a few people, he was no exception, what was he planning, there’s no way Sasuke would let him hurt Naruto. The blonde didn’t even think about that, he was clearly excited to go out with the Hyuuga boy, Naruto turned to blink at Sasuke and made his way to the bathroom to take a shower before Neji went to pick him up.

Sasuke was walking around in circles, he was too worried. Neji came to pick up Naruto half an hour ago, when he answered the door he almost jumped to kick Hyuuga’s ass, but contained himself, the other boy looked at him with the same look in his eyes, they didn’t get along well. He could swear Neji’s intentions weren’t good, they couldn’t be, he hated Naruto why would that change now?

“Thanks for inviting me Neji!” Naruto thanked while looking at the menu to see what he wanted to eat.
“You’re welcome, your friend Uchiha didn’t seem very pleased though.”

Naruto handed the menu over to Neji and put his elbows on the table, his hand supporting his head. “I know, Sasuke is overprotective sometimes, but, I like him just like that.” A faint smile formed on Naruto’s lips, but he didn’t notice. Wonder what’s he doing now…Sasuke…

Neji however did notice it, that didn’t leave him very happy, Naruto was thinking about other people while on a date with him “Say Naruto, do you Love Uchiha?”

Neji’s question shot through the blonde, what kind of question is that? Sasuke’s his best friend, he can’t love him “What? No, why are you asking that??”

“You’re always with him right?” Naruto nodded in confirmation “When you’re not around him you think about him right?” Naruto nodded once again, curious as to where this conversation was going. “You love him.” Neji crossed his arms leaning on his chair.

“What?? It’s normal that I’m always thinking about him, we have a very strong bond, but not all bonds are love Neji!”

The pale boy didn’t answer, the conversation died there, the waiter asked what they wanted to eat, they made their orders, Naruto glanced at Neji, the silence was to awkward, he sighed, maybe Neji isn’t that cool like he thought he was.

Their food came and they ate in silence. This is the strangest thing, Neji doesn’t even look at me. Why did he invite me?

Sasuke ran like crazy down the street. Naruto!! With all the hurry he forgot to bring his car keys, as he was running he glanced around the street. Where is a fucking cab when you need one?? He put his hands in his pockets, he also forgot his cell phone, calling a taxi was out of the question, he would just have to run to the hospital. Sakura spotted Sasuke running like mad down the street, she wondered what was going on. The pink haired girl exited the restaurant and entered her car, she went after Sasuke.

“Grab him!! We’re losing him! Nurse!!!” The doctor shouted desperately.

“Oh my god, his heart is racing up!!”

“Give him something to calm him down!!”

A nurse grabbed Naruto and injected a substance in his veins, the doctor was trying desperately to calm him down, it took five nurses to hold Naruto, he was in shock, his eyes very wide staring into nothing, he didn’t respond to anything the nurses did, his eyes didn’t respond to the light of the flashlight, his body didn’t respond to any touch at all, he was in complete distress.

“I need something stronger!!” The doctor shouted once more, Naruto was still moving like crazy even though his heart slowed down a bit.

“But doctor we just gave him—“

“NOW! Or his heart will explode, it’s starting to accelerate again!!”

The nurse did what they were told quickly, they injected Naruto with a substance again, this time it made affect, Naruto was slowly stopping his struggle.

“Thank God! That was a close call. We almost lost him. We need to find what happened to this boy, do some analyses to his blood.”

The hospital door burst open, Sasuke strode down the hall making his way deeper into the hospital, he spotted Neji.

“Sir, you can’t enter the Hospital like this! Sir!” The receptionist shouted.
Sasuke didn’t give a damn. He grabbed a fistful of Neji’s shirt and yanked him forward making the long black haired boy hit the wall.

“What the hell did you do to him Hyuuga??”

Neji glared at him with a disapproving look on his face.

“I didn’t do anything Uchiha, he just started having pain after eating one bowl of ramen.”

Sasuke smashed Neji harder into the wall.

“Sir please, stop this instant or I’ll have to call security!” The receptionist shouted going for the phone when she noticed Sasuke wasn’t going to obey. She was about to pick up the receiver when a hand stopped her, she looked up.

“There’s no need for that.” Sasuke stated going to sit down on a couch nearby. He traded glares with the Hyuuga, he wasn’t convinced that he didn’t have anything to do with Naruto’s sudden burst of pain. He was going to put more thought into it but he saw the doctor heading towards Neji, he immediately stood up and walked the same way.

“He’s alright now, we had a very hard time controlling him, we almost lost him.” Sasuke’s heart gave a squeeze, just the thought of losing Naruto made him terribly miserable. “We discovered something bad. He was poisoned. His analyses show a dangerous substance in his blood, that’s what caused the pain and the heart attack.” Sasuke’s eyebrows shot up in astonishment, someone poisoned Naruto? He glanced at Neji, his expression was blank. The doctor continued. “We cleaned the substance out of his body, but he needs to stay here for at least 3 days.”

“May I see him?” Sasuke asked.

“Yes, but don’t wake him up, he needs rest.”

The doctor gave Sasuke the room’s number and he immediately ran there. He opened the door and sighed in relief, Naruto was alright now, he walked to the bed and pulled a chair sitting down. He looked at Naruto, his hand caressing a tan cheek.

“Naruto, you scared the hell out of me dobe.” He spoke softly remembering the doctor’s words about not waking him up. He smiled down at the blonde and placed a chaste kiss on his forehead. He sighed again, but this time, he was worried, he couldn’t imagine what he would have done if Naruto had… He didn’t even want to think about it. He shook his head slightly sending that though away, Naruto was alright now.

“I love you idiot.”

“Sasuke…” Naruto moaned his name, Sasuke’s eyes shot wide open, was Naruto awake? Did he hear what he had just said? He calmed down after a few seconds when he noticed the blond was asleep. He didn’t want Naruto to know, he was afraid he might lose his friendship. Sasuke leaned over the blonde putting his head on top of Naruto’s chest hearing Naruto’s heartbeat. He leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms on the bed putting his head behind them. He heard Naruto moan some incoherent words before slowly drifting to sleep. He was tired.

“You creep!! You almost killed him!!” A slim figure shouted to a taller man in the dark.

“Calm down, nothing happened right? It was just to scare the brains out of Uchiha.” The taller man smirked not worried a bit about the concern in the smaller boy.

“Whatever man, just count me out of your stupid sick plans.”

“I don’t think so…” The taller man spoke in a threatening tone. “…Hyuuga.”

The pale boy stared at the frightening figure in front of him, how the hell did he get into this mess? A figure approached from behind him, the person was smaller than Neji.

“Back already Kaiya?”

“Yes Itachi-Sama, I bought what you asked me.” A blonde girl answered back.

“Good, let’s get inside, and Hyuuga, if you tell anyone of my whereabouts, or that you talked to me…” There was a small cold pause. “ …You’ll regret it deeply.”

Neji was merged in fear, he ran to the only place he could feel comfort in, his best friend Kiba’s house. He knocked at the door, he didn’t care it was already too late, he needed to talk to someone, a few seconds later the door opened and a very sleepy Kiba stood there rubbing his eyes.

“Neji?”

“Please let me in, let me stay for the night.”

“Hey, what’s wrong with you man?” Kiba asked standing aside to let Neji in his house.

“Yeah, I took Sasuke to the hospital, seems like Naruto had something, well, doesn’t matter, the important thing is that now, Sasuke will be forever grateful to me!” Sakura squealed into the receiver.

“Really?? You’re so lucky Sakura! But, I wonder what happened to Naruto…”

“Who cares Ino? Sasuke’s all that matters, I’m gonna be all over him tomorrow!”

“But…I’m still worried, what if it was something serious? I know you don’t like him, but Naruto’s not a bad person.” The blonde girl said sounding a little concerned.

“Argh, you’re being so boring Ino, gotta go, I’ll see you tomorrow.”

“Gonna tell me what happened?” Kiba asked handing a glass of water to his friend, Neji just nodded no with his head, he was about to question further but his door bell rang again.

“Fuck, who the hell is it at this hour?” he cursed opening the door and rolling his eyes to the sight in front of him. Right before him stood a very drunk Shikamaru along with Gaara, Lee, Chouji, Haku, and Shino. He didn’t even have to stand aside to let them enter, they did it for him making their way into his house and sitting on the couch, chairs, whatever was closer.

“Guys what the hell are you doing??” Kiba shouted.

“C’mon Kiba, don’t be an ass, let us stay here, your house is damn big, there’s room for everyone!” Chouji stated between hiccups.

“Haku and I will use the bathroom if you don’t mind” Shino announced.

“Just make sure you don’t fuck up the bathroom with your vomit! Geesh!” Kiba rubbed his face going back upstairs to his room.

“The guys are here, it’s going to be a long night, they’re gonna be completely dead tomorrow at school. Want something to sleep in?” Kiba opened his wardrobe grabbing two pairs of pajamas, Neji nodded catching the pair Kiba tossed him. Kiba was about to undress his shirt when noises where heard.

“Haku!! H-Harder!!”

“S-Shino…y-you’re…so…tight!!”

Kiba’s mouth shot open in shock, he headed out of his room at speed of light, Neji blushed as the sounds were still audible, it didn’t surprise him though, they were drunk as hell, it would happen sooner or later with those too. He heard Kiba bursting the bathroom door open.

“OH MY GOD!!!”

It was morning, Sasuke made his way into his first class, he wanted to stay with Naruto at the hospital, but he needed to come to school. He slid the door open and immediately arched an eyebrow, in the front row of sits where Kiba, Neji, Haku, Shino, Shikamaru, Chouji, Gaara and Lee completely asleep, they even snored. Sasuke made his way to Shikamaru, he and his gang where the only ones that didn’t hate Naruto, except for Neji, he was sure about it. He shook the pony tail haired brunette. Shikamaru slowly opened his eyes and blinked a few times before noticing who it was.

“Oh, Good morning Uchiha!”

“What happened to you guys Nara?” Sasuke smirked.

“You don’t want to know, we got so fuckin’ drunk last night, the last thing I recall was landing on Kiba’s couch. Where’s Naruto?” He asked noticing that Naruto wasn’t there with Sasuke. Sasuke sat down beside the boy, the others were slowly waking up, he shot daggers at Neji who responded the same way.

“Naruto is in the hospital. He was poisoned” The last word spoken firmly while he stared into Neji’s eyes. The pale eyed boy looked away and Sasuke narrowed his eyes. Gotcha!

“What the fuck?? Poisoned?” Shikamaru asked incredibly dumbfounded. The others widened their eyes as well and directed their attention to Sasuke, except for Neji, who already knew details no one else knew.

“Yes, your friend Hyuuga should know more details, he was with him.”

Neji’s muscles tensed, he turned around, damn the Uchiha bastard, he didn’t know anything, it was not like he did that because he wanted to, he had to do it, or else.

“You went out with Naruto?” Kiba asked completely taken aback.

Neji just nodded.
“Anyway, class is almost starting, I’m going back to my seat, listen, I’m gonna visit Naruto at the hospital today after class, if you guys would like to come with me, I’m sure that he would like that.” Sasuke stated, he normally wasn’t this talkative, but he wanted Naruto to be happy, he wanted him to forget about all the bad things that happened.

“Sure we’ll go!” Kiba answered for everyone. Sasuke got back to his seat and a few moments later class began.
