Beast and Beauty......

I woke up to light streaming into a window. I opened my eyes and felt the warmth on my skin, before turning and running my hands over a large fluffy dog. I smiled, knowing that Akamaru would always keep me safe, just like his master. I sat up and felt someones presence in the room, knowing it wasn't Kiba. I jumped up and started to do a simple hand symbol when she heard the person scream and drop something on the floor. I stopped my hand symbol and said "who's there?" A sharp intake of breath came before the reply "I....I am....the housekeeper. Master Kibas housekeeper. I..I wanted to bring you breakfast." I sighed and apologized for scaring her. I pointed at my face and said, "can't see you know?" She must have nodded because she gasped and said "sorry, I mean...I understand." I sat back down on the bed and asked what kind of breakfast. I felt her smile and say "eggs, bacon, orange juice and carpet apparently." I laughed and suddenly another presence came into the room. It was my Kiba and I smiled before deciding to just cuddle with Akamaru. "You know he's not supposed to be in the bed" said Kiba. I just smiled and buried my face into his fur. It smelled like clean laundry from some reason. Kiba must have shooed the housekeeper because he came and sat beside me and said "be ready for six o'clock ok? We are taking everyone out to dinner." I just nodded and he kissed my forehead. He handed me a small bottle and told me that if I wanted to, I could drink it. "It is a solution to your 'bad eyesight' that the medical nins came up with" he told me. I smiled and downed it. It was like breathing for the first time. I blinked a few times to get into focus, but sure enough, I could see. "what about my jutsus?" I asked. He laughed and told me that was my chakra, and not my eyesight that made it work. I smiled and looked at his face for what have been like five minutes before he cocked his head in confusment. I just hugged him onto the bed and breathed in his sweet and sour musky scent. I held him and he me, as I pondered what we were going to do now. I knew I was banished from my house, and unless I was his wife, couldn't stay here. I decided to let things take their natural course and just let it go. He got up and I decided to walk around his "complex" of a house to get my bearings. Having sight was new to me after all. When I passed by a mirror, I gasped. I had thick lashes and lovely, crystal clear, blue eyes. They looked like sapphires before they were cut. I smiled and continued on my walk, knowing my friends would be surprized of my new found sight.
