Ch. 4. The Dinner.


Arashi went home to call a babysitter, and it was only a moment of time before there was a knock on his door. He blinked, going over to the door to answer it

“Hai?” he asked in a soft voice. A teenager stood there. Her pale eyes looked up at him.
"I-I'm the babysitter...” she said shyly as she bowed her head politely. Her hair was short around her face.

Arashi smiled. "Hinata? Thanks a lot!"


Hinata blushed and she bowed her head.

"You're w-welcome Uzumaki-san...” she said softly. “W-Where’s Naruto-kun?” she asked him. Arashi looked back to the kitchen, where the said boy was eating some food. He looked back to her with a small smile.

"Well he's eating now...so if you have any questions just call." he said as he went over, getting a slip of paper and writing his cell phone number on it. He set it on the table in the sitting area.
“You can reach me by this number, alright?” he asked her. “And you’re welcome to eat anything and watch some TV. Just make sure Naruto goes to bed, alright?” he asked her.

She nodded her head.

"A-alright." she said softly. "Drive safely." she said smiling a little at him.

He nodded to her with a small smile and he walked over to Naruto, leaning down and kissing his forehead. “Now be good…okay?” he said to him and Naruto beamed.
“Okay!” he said to him. Arashi chuckled and he walked out the front door, getting into his car and left to the dinner.


When he arrived there, Uchiha and Sarutobi were chatting, they laughed a little at some joke. Sasuke was just sitting there, arms crossed over his chest. He blinked when he saw Arashi. He smiled a little with a small nod.
"We didn't think that you were going to make it Uzumaki-san." he said smiling a little. Uchiha stood to shake Arashi's hand.

Arashi shook it smiling. "Ah well I did."

There was a large table with all sorts of food. Sasuke was eating sushi silently.

Arashi ate some rice.

Sasuke pushed his plate away, and he slowly rested his elbows on the table. He looked at Arashi.
"So, Uzumaki-san, I've already asked Sarutobi-san these questions. So…tell me about yourself?" he asked him curiously.

"Well... what do you think about me?" Arashi asked smiling a little.

Sasuke looked a little thoughtful before answering.

"I think that you're a carefree man, but you know when to get down to business, and there's more to you then meets the eye." he said with a small shrug of his shoulders as he looked down at his plate, poking at his sushi.
Arashi nodded his head to him.

"Well there you go." The blonde replied, smiling.
Sasuke blinked, before he laughed a little.

"You're funny...” he said as he ate some sushi. Sasuke was definitely different from his older brother. His brother wasn’t’ one that would laugh so easily. Sasuke then shut his eyes for a moment, touching his temple.

Arashi blinked. "You okay?"
Sasuke was silent for a moment.

"Yeah...just a headache..." he muttered quietly. Uchiha looked to Sasuke and he looked away silently.


Arashi blinked. "need medicine?"

Sasuke rubbed his head.
"Yeah..." he muttered.

Arashi blinked and stood before he dug in his pockets. "......."

Uchiha was silent.
"You should eat healthier." he said to him. Sasuke looked at him with a frown.

"What, just because I'm not a vegetarian like Itachi was doesn't mean that I don't eat healthy." he stated in a quiet tone. Uchiha went silent and Sarutobi was silent as he ate.


Arashi was silent. "......um....well...” he took out Benadryol in little packets. "Here...” he handed them to Sasuke.

Sasuke took it.

"Thanks...” he said. He read the back of the pack, and took out two. He lifted his glass of water, popping the medicine into his mouth, and he swallowed. He let out a sigh.


Arashi patted his shoulder and went back sitting down.

Sasuke looked to him and smiled faintly. He ran a hand through his hair, looking down at his plate and he sighed. He picked at his food. Uchiha and Sarutobi began talking again.

Sasuke finished, and he looked up, calling for the bill. The waitress walked off to get it all up. Sasuke turned his gaze, looking out the window silently.
Arashi was silent.

".......It’s none of my business...but..." he looked up. "....when ...did you discover…Itachi was missing?" the blonde male asked.

Sasuke was silent for a moment.

"The day..." he started off, only for Mr. Uchiha to look at him with a frown. Sasuke looked to him.

"Stop Dad, he's just asking an honest question." he said.

"I noticed two days prior to his death...” he said slowly. "Itachi was always secretive...so he never really told us what he did, or where he went..." he said.

"All I know is that he tried calling me, and that he told me that he was at a club...” he said, looking up at a ceiling.

"He said he met this guy...but that's all he said...and that he was most likely going to be home late..." he said.
"....that was the last time I spoke with him...” he muttered quietly.


Arashi was silent. "...I see...” he lowered his gaze. "I'm sorry for asking...”


Sasuke was silent as the bill was placed there. He put his card on it and the waitress picked it up. He sighed and when the receipt was giving he signed it. He ran a hand through his hair silently.

"We used to share an apartment..." he said smiling to himself weakly. He rubbed at his eyes quickly.
"Enough of the past." he muttered, smiling weakly at them.

Arashi watched him silently before sighing and stood up.

Sasuke stood.

"I'm going to call the car." he said slowly as he took a step outside. Uchiha was silent.

"Forgive my son's attitude...he's still a little touchy...Itachi and Sasuke were like twins...so he's taking it pretty hard." he said softly.

Arashi was silent. "It’s fine…I understand...my wife was murdered." he said softly.

Uchiha looked to him.
"Oh...she was?" he asked him. He bowed his head a little.
"I'm sorry for your loss." he said softly.


"It’s fine." he said weakly. "I’ve....took...therapy...to get over it...." he still wore a ring on his fingers and sighed. "Well...I guess I should go now. Don’t want to take up your time."


Uchiha smiled weakly at him.
"That's alright...” he said softly, nodding his head slowly. Sasuke came in. "The cars here Father." he said as he walked over to them.

"Well we'll be seeing a lot of each other during these weeks." Sasuke said as he shook Sarutobi's hand, and shaking Arashi's hand. Him and Uchiha bowed their heads.

"Have a nice night Sarutobi-san, Uzumaki-san." he said in a business like manner. Sarutobi bowed his head.
"Alright then." he said. Uchiha and Sasuke turned, walking out of the restaurant.

Arashi looked at Sarutobi. "Well...that didn’t go too bad."

Sarutobi nodded his head in agreement.
"Yep." he said. "And Sasuke looks like he may be a promising head of the Uchiha Corps." he said smiling a little.

Arashi nodded. "yes." he smiled at Sarutobi. "Well...I have to call it a night. Thank you Sarutobi...I'll see you tomorrow." he turned bowed his head and left.

Sarutobi waved, going his own way.


Arashi went back home, and pulled out his keys to unlock the door. His hand rested on the knob and he slowly opened the door. "Hinata?" he called.
Silence was all that answered him. The television was still on and he sighed, walking over to it to shut it off. He walked further into the house, looking around. He checked Naruto’s room and he smiled faintly at the sight.

Hinata was sitting in Naruto's room. She had fallen asleep in the chair. She was holding a book of bedtime stories. Naruto was tucked in his bed, sleeping with a smile on his face.

He watched the two, smiling a bit He slowly turned and went into his room and shut the door where he took a shower. Uchiha Sasuke....was a very...beautiful being...just like his brother was...he wondered...if Sasuke was just as beautiful inside as well.

The memory of Itachi's pained cries rang through Arashi's head, and he tilted his head back a little with a small moan. But a thought also ran through his mind, something that he had to remember. There was one thing to worry about when it came to Sasuke. His boyfriend. Hatake Kakashi was an officer.

Arashi sighed. He remembered that. But a smirk came to his lips. It would only make the hunt more exciting. If he was really determined...he could cause the two to break up...and he could sweep Sasuke off his feet in a time of need.

There was silence in the bathroom.

Arashi touched himself at the thought of...torturing Sasuke.
