The Apartment

Hinata was supposed to visit her cousin, and bring him a meesage from her father. Actually, since she was good friends with Tenten and because Neji had _somehow_ mellowed out over the years - and mellowed out a whole lot more recently - she didn't mind the excuse to go visit. She'd been over to the Apartment (as most of their group had begun calling the place....it was the only apartment any of them owned, excepting Naruto's tiny place, and he was hardly there anyway) before, but recently she'd been too busy to visit; her team had taken on a lot of long outland missions lately.

She knocked softly on the door, then again, more loudly, when no one answered. She'd thought Lee-san had said Neji and Tenten would be home...? Automatically she turned on her Byakugan to check if anyone was inside.

And immediately turned so bright red that she looked like a tomato. Neji and Tenten _were_ home - but otherwise preoccupied, she immediately saw.

They were on the couch - a writhing, rocking heap of tangled limbs, Neji's paleness contrasting with Tenten's darker skin, both glossy with sweat. Tenten was below her cousin's insistent body, her legs hooked over Neji's shoulders and her knees being shoved almost to beside her ears as he pounded her hard into the couch.

Tenten was known as the most flexible of the kunoichi, even beating out Ino in a display of gymnastics that had every male in a two-hundred yard radius drooling. But still, didn't that hurt? Hinata wondered, then decided against it hurting at the sight of the utterly blissful expression on Tenten's face as Neji penetrated her deep and hard and fast.

She just stood there, gaping, until she realized she was watching her cousin make love - no, FUCK - that was the only word for it - watching Neji-niisan fuck Tenten-chan into the couch.

Then she squeaked in utter mortification and fled.

The next day, when Hiashi learned she hadn't delivered the message, he ordered her to try again. Hanabi and Hiashi stared as Hinata turned completely red before mumbling a horifically stuttering "H-h-haiiii, oto-to-to-tousama...."

As she bowed to her father she almost dropped her cup of tea, squeaked in surprise, and hurried away - almost running into the door. In years past, Hiashi might have punished her for that. Years ago, that had been the norm for her - but he had thought she was getting better? Now he just stared in puzzlement after his eldest daughter.

"Hanabi? Has your sister seemed -- off to you lately?"

Neji and Tenten weren't home, this time. Hinata would have gladly written a note for them and scurried away, but Kiba had insisted on accompanying her to the Apartment. And since there was no way she would - could - tell Kiba about why she was suddenly so leery of spending time in the Apartment, she had no choice but to sit with Kiba on the very couch Neji-niisan had been...with Tenten-chan...on - but only after examining it carefully for any telltale stains. It looked freshly washed, but still...


Kiba was making himself at home, as he tended to do in everyone else's. He helped himself to a can of soda in the fridge, getting one for Hinata as well after a moment's thought.

"Hey, Hinata-chan," he called out, "D'you want lemon-soda or cream...." He trailed off as he noticed Hinata looking down at her fingers and blushing furiously. He cast his eyes around for what might have caused the blushing, but saw nothing.

"Hinata?" he called again.

"O-oh, Kiba-kun!" Hinata said, startled, looking up. "....cream-soda, please." She ducked her head. "Thank you!"

Obediently, Kiba grabbed a can of cream-soda for her. As he sat beside her on the couch, however, he had to wonder - what was UP with Hinata?

Sorry about the complete lack of updates, but the ShikaIno muse just DIED. Whereas the Kiba muses have been sitting up and barking lately.

After this KibaHina arc, I want to make it ShikaIno but I have no inspiration. *sulks* Anyone have any ideas they'd like to share?
