The New Otokage

Chapter 4: Dinner with the Otokage:

Naruto felt pain in his heart as he saw that his friends clearly had something important to tell him but that Gaara had difficulty to find the right way to say it…. That was normally a very bad sign.

“Gaara…? What is wrong with you… did I do something wrong? Damn… Please answer me!”

Their eyes met and Naruto could see that the Kazekage was troubled and it made his heart ache. He’s in pain… but why? Was it something I said or did?

Warm lips suddenly closed in over the blonde’s. Naruto´s azure eyes widened at the unexpected touch.

He’s kissing me?

Why?

This… actually…. feels….. Kinda… good!

Naruto felt the other male began to withdraw from their kiss. No…. don’t stop! The blonde thought and grabbed the red-head by the waist, dragging him closer. I don’t want this to end just now, even though you are not the one I whished to kiss like this.

The blonde trailed his tongue against Gaara’s lower lip, silently asking permission to enter his hot mouth.

A small smirk appeared on the blondes lips as he felt the other male part his lips in response. Tasting the Kazekage’s soft pink tongue with desire filled swirls of his own tongue…. He tastes a bit like cinnamon, Naruto told himself.

“Ah…”panted the Kazekage as he desperately craved for air. His blood was boiling his mind filled with longing for more of the tanned blondes caresses and kisses.

“Naruto-kun…..I…”

“Are you all right, Kazekage-sama?”

“Please don’t….. Call me that… right now!” Gaara frowned.

“Huh?” Naruto tilted his head slightly to the side and looked at the re-head with a raised brow.

“I know you love someone else…. But I love you so much Naruto-kun…. You are important to me as a friend and a….”

“….You want more than friendship…. Right?” the blonde bluntly asked with a small grin.

“You knew?”

“Hell… It´s not like you are hiding it very well Gaara-sama” He grinned and gave the Kazekage a bear hug that nearly pressed all the air out off the red-heads lungs.

“You always look at me in that certain way with a cute little smile on your lips…. And as we hugged before… you kissed me on the neck didn’t you? He he….so cute!”

The color on Gaara’s face was matching the color of his curly hair.

“But if you don’t…. feel for me…. then?”

“Who says I don’t feel for you like this? I do….. The other thing…. Well It´s never going to lead anywhere with him anyway.” The blonde signed deeply as his thoughts trailed of to a certain raven-haired male that had been classified a missing-nin for almost 5 years now.

“I like you too, Gaara,” Naruto smiled at the young male in front of him and felt his heart bloom as he saw the red-heads growing smile.

“Will you…. Ehh…. would you be my…. Be mine?” Gaara asked insecure, still smiling like a love sick idiot at the grinning blonde.

Naruto leaned towards the slightly quivering red-head and kissed him passionately, their tongues swirling smoothly together… tasting each other… sending shudders through their bodies in anticipation for what was going to happen between them later on.

Knock…. Knock.

“Sorry for my intrusion…. Dinner will be served in 30 minutes…..I will have an escort to pick you up in 15 minutes,” Kira told the Otokage´s guest’s from outside their room doors.

“I wonder why Sasuke-sama accepts her as his right hand…. She is a very friendly and warmhearted woman… so not like him,” Hinata stared at the mirror to see if she looked ok in the cream white dress that she wore.

“Well… she does look a lot like Naruto-san,” Neji kissed his lover on her tender neck. “You look stunning tonight my love,” he whispered lovingly in her ear that caused her cheeks to blush.

There was another knock on the door before Kakashi entered the room.
“Since when do you knock Kakashi-sensei?” Neji asked, looking up from Hinata´s shoulder.

“Just didn’t want to barge in on you two turtle Dows…. “He gave them a lazy smile.

Neji snorted and assembled his long black hair in a ponytail.

“So what do we tell him…? About Naruto-kun I mean?” Hinata played nervously with her hands.

“Hmmm… I think we are better of with the truth,” Kakashi said with a counseled smile.

“Sasuke is a bright kid with only a small amount of patience … he wont appreciate it if we would lie to him!” and with these words he left the room to meet the waiting escort outside the door.

“Otokage-sama.” Hinata bowed deeply towards Sasuke who politely bowed back. Neji bowed but not as deep as his lover and never removing his keen eyes from the raven-haired male.

Kakashi just waved at Sasuke with a smile. He looks funny without his mask, the raven-haired Sound-leader thought with a smirk.

“Thank you all for accepting my invitation…. And please… you don’t have to be so formal here… we are in private after all.” Sasuke said coolly. “Please have a seat and enjoy some of our delicious specialties.”

They all sat down at the ornamented oval table on the very comfortable chairs. In the middle of the table there was a large carved fan on the table… the symbol of the Uchiha clan. The fan was decorated with a purple snake on it to symbolize the Otokage´s connection with the Sound and of course in the end Orochimaru and his snake-jutsu.

“…Sasuke-sama… We are happy that you are well… and at good health,” Hinata smiled.
“…Thank you… It´s good to see that you are all well too,” Sasuke replied, “but I ask myself why only the three of you that came…. I requested someone to come along… I wonder why you haven’t brought him along?”

“Straight to the point as always eh Sasuke-kun?” Kakashi looked up from his almost full plate.

“You know me Kakashi-sensei…. No talking around the subject,” the raven-haired smirked at his former sensei.

“Uzumaki Naruto has gone missing….. He has been gone for more than a year Otokage-sama.” Neji bluntly told the Sound-leader.

“He never did fully recover his psychical pain from your brutal attack on him back then,” Neji smiled at the frowned expression on the Uchiha´s face.

“Neji-san!” Hinata glared angrily at him.

Kakashi shoke his head… this wasn’t going the way he had planned it at all.

Sasuke had almost dropped his fork as he heard Neji´s comment. The Dobe was a missing-nin?

“Have you heard anything about his where-bouts?” he managed to ask.

“Sadly no,” Kakashi said sadly, “but we are searching for him as we speak Sasuke-kun....”

“Why did he leave?”

“…..He…” Hinata started but was cut off by Neji.

“He and his team got in a fight with your brother and Kisame… Konohamaru nearly died in one of Itachi´s genjutsu´s and Naruto-san ended up blaming himself for it, even though he managed to kill Kisame and save both Konohamaru and Kiba. He carried them home on his back even as he had severe wounds himself.” Neji leaned back and crossed his arms over his chest.

“Oh god…” Sasuke frowned as he recalled his brother’s words before he had killed him.

“I had a little meeting with a friend of yours a few weeks ago…he he”

“The Kyuubi kid did put up some what of a decent fight though”

“You know what Itachi said to him?.... He told him that the Yondaime was his father and that no matter how hard Naruto-san would train… he would never be anything like him, because of the monster inside of him… “

Sasuke was overwhelmed with a feeling of defeat. All his family had ever done was to bring pain to others…. And now both he and Itachi had driven the blonde away from the only place he had ever called home.

Where could he possible be? Was there any place in the world that the blonde loved? … A place where he could feel safe? Sasuke had a very thoughtful look on his face.

“We are using the Inuzuka family to sniff him out as well as the Aburame family’s bugs… but so far there has been no useful leads… he is a very skilled shinobi…. If he wishes not to be found… well….” Kakashi took the last bite of food on his plate and stuffed it in his mouth.

Sasuke raised his gaze to meet the visible eye of his former sensei.
“Mind if I offered my assistance?” The raven-haired asked.

“Not at all Sasuke-kun… but why are you so set on seeing him again?”

“It´s a private matter Kakashi-sensei please don’t expect me to give you an answer!”

“Yare… Yare...” Kakashi waved his hand at the Otokage with a smirk. He still likes the blonde, he thought to himself.

“So… why don’t you tell us about your little fight with the snake-dude” Kakashi grinned.
