Between Siblings
Kioshi POV
“N…nee-chan? D…dad, wha…what are you t…two doing?” I stammered. I knew very damned well what they were doing! Nee-chan and Dad were fucking making out! And she didn’t have a frigging shirt on!
“Kio…” Sande-Ayame pulled the blanket up to cover herself. “I…uh….” I had seen it all, and she’s still not saying a damned thing!?
“I can’t believe you!” I yelled. “And dad! What about Mama!?” This was sick! Sande-Ayame’s 15, and dad’s 35, not to mention our father.
“Oto-san, please don’t look so angry.” I looked at my sister, she was defiantly pleading, something not very common for her.
“How can I not be!? Your fucking shirtless in bed with our dad!” I yelled. “You slut, Sande-Ayame!” I turned out heel and walked out, slamming the door.
Sande-Ayame POV
I’m such a bad person. I’ve probably just fucked up my relationship with my brother forever! I am a frigging slut, and a home wrecker, and the worst nee-chan ever. I’ve got to talk with Kioshi now! Maybe if I explained everything, he’ll at least talk to me. I know he won’t right now.
“Gaara-tou-san, could you hand me my shirt?” I asked motioning to my shirt, which was just out of my reach on his side. Gaara-tou-san handed me the shirt, and I put it on.
“Sande-Ayame, I can talk to him.” He said.
“I know, but this is really important to me. Kioshi’s my best friend, Tou-san.” I explained. “And, he’s probably more mad at me than you.” Kioshi and Tou-san had never been very close, Kioshi was mom’s favorite while I was Tou-san’s. But, for nearly 6-years, it was just us and our cousins, but they’re idiots and picked on Kioshi (Which lead to their fear of me). “I’ve always stuck up for him, I know he feel betrayed now.” Tou-san nodded, then kissed my forehead.
“Remember, he’s mad and doesn’t mean what he’s saying, my otome.” I nodded.
***
My talk with Kioshi didn’t really go very well. It was nothing but yelling and name calling through the damned door! And, to make things worse, Kioshi had told Aiko! I already had one sibling hating me, do I really need another?
“You never know, the little brat could be happy about this.”
“Shukaku, this is my family and my life, I can’t depend on luck to make it all work out!”
“The little brat-”
“Her name is Aiko.”
“Fine, you’re the closest thing Aiko has to a mother, will she really get mad at you for loving both of yours’ father?”
“Where have you been? Aiko is as possessive as I was with dad when I was little!”
“She can suck it up and share.”
“SHUKAKU!! This. Is. My. Life. I have to fix it, not make people suck it up and deal.”
“Nee-chan.” Aiko’s voice pulled me out of the mental argument with my annoying fucking demon.
“Yeah?”
“You gonna be my new mama?” She asked. Both Gaara-tou-san and Kioshi, who had taken a seat far away from us all, stared.
“But I’m already your nee-chan, Aiko.” I reminded, setting a plate in front of her.
“You don’t seem to have a problem with being Daddy’s daughter and lover.” Gaara-tou-san nearly choked on his coffee, and I think I saw Kioshi smirk.
“Th…that’s sort of different.” I looked down and pulled at a string in the him of my shirt. “No matter what I do, mama will always have her own special place in Gaara-Tou-san’s heart that I can never fill.”
“That’s a load of cock.” I really have to stop teaching Aiko new words.
“No it’s not.” Thank you, Tou-san!
“What do you mean? You can only have one love.” No more playing with Cousin Yoshika.”
“No, most people fall in love more than once.” I paused, trying to think of someone to use as an example. “Like…do you remember Uchiha Tonshi?” Aiko nodded. “Well, he said he loved me, didn’t he? But look at him now, he’s in love with another person.” I wasn’t going to point out it was a boy. Boy was that a blow to my self-esteem! I turned the poor Uchiha boy Gay, according to his brothers at least -I trust the middle one, but not the eldest-.
“You mean the gay guy you dated back when you were 13?” asked Kioshi with a bigger smirk.
“I thought you weren’t talking to me.”
“I had to get the facts straight with Aiko. Uchiha claimed he loved Sande-Ayame, but a month after they broke up, he was found in bed with our cousin!” Kioshi fell off the chair laughing. I would have rather avoided bringing up that detail. Really! Who would want to be with KARASU!!!
“If your going to do that, I’d rather you not talk to me.” I sighed.
“I don’t get it!” whined Aiko. “Daddy, what do they mean!?” Poor Tou-san.
***
“Nee-chan, can you read me a bed-time story?” asked Aiko later that night. I was in charge since Uncle Kankuro had come over and dragged Tou-san somewhere. He did this every few week, Uncle K would get in some kind of big fight with one of his kids and come to dad for some advice. They’d go to a bar normally, and dad would come home tipsy. Tou-san never got really drunk, just enough to give Uncle K stupid advice every once and awhile.
“Sure, what story?” I sat on the bed next to my sister.
“Let’s make one up!” I laughed, this was something we hadn’t done in awhile.
“Okay.” I thought for a moment to think of a beginning. “Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess. She lived in a big castle in the middle of the ocean. And she was in love…”
“With the king of her kingdom!” Aiko added, then she paused to think. “But, there was a problem. The King was the Princess’s daddy. She told her brother about this and he got really mad at her.”
‘She’d got an incest thing now, doesn’t she?’ I sighed. “Aiko, can we avoid real life?”
“I’m sorry, nee-chan, I thought it may help you.” Aiko looked down.
“How about we just read Snow White, you love that one.” I used my sand to get the book from Aiko’s small bookshelf. After I finished the book, I tucked Aiko in and kissed her forehead, then went to the study to read.
“Don’t you think you should talk to that bratty brother of yours?”
“I’ll let him cool off tonight and talk to him tomorrow, or try to at least.”
I opened my book and started to read. Soon, an hour passed, then 2, and 3. “What are you still doing up, otome?” I felt familiar arms warp around me.
“Huh…are you back already, Tou-san?” I asked, shutting the book and turning around.
“It’s 1 in the morning, Sande-Ayame.”
“What did Karasu do this time?” The only time Uncle K would keep dad out this late would be if his older son was causing trouble.
“The Tonshi incident is still having it’s effects.” He sat in the chair next to me. “You don’t plan on making me gay, do you otome?”
“Of course not, Tou-san.” I kissed him, tasting the Sake on his breath. “You could just not drink anything, you hate the headaches.” I suggested when we broke apart.
“You know how Kankuro gets.”
“He’s an idiot that thinks Sake will solve all.”
“That’s correct.” He pulled me in my lap. “Have you been able to talk with Kioshi?”
“He needs to chill a little bit more.” I sighed, wrapping my arms around Gaara-tou-san’s waist.
“Very well.”
“Aiko’s happy about this, though.”
***
“Kioshi…” I knocked on my brother’s door the next morning.
“Go away, Sande-Ayame.”
“I’ll break down the door if you don’t let me in.” I threatened.
“Go ahead and try!” I backed up and ran at the door, crashing through it. “Holy shit!”
“I told you I’d break it down.” I rubbed my arm, felling blood through the black cloth of my shirt. “We’re gonna talk, whether you like it or not.”
“Fine, talk.” He got up and went into his closet.
“I’m not trying to replace mom.”
“I know.” What!? I thought that was his problem!
“You do? Then what the hell is your problem!?”
“He’s our father, Sande-Ayame.”
“I’m perfectly aware his our Tou-san.”
“Do you care this is illegal, not to mention immoral!?” He yelled.
“I’ve never really followed the rules, Kioshi.”
“Why dad?”
“I don’t really know. He’s just…” I couldn’t explain it! I didn’t even really understand myself.
“Sis, I can’t completely except this, but I guess I’ll have to suck it up and be a man.” Kioshi looked sad. Why the hell was he sad?
“What else is wrong?” I asked, blocking the closet doorway so he couldn’t walk out.
“You won’t care since you have dad.”
“Tell me. I’m your nee-chan, I’d do anything for you!”
“I love you.” He kissed me.
Great, I’m in an incestuous love triangle.
“N…nee-chan? D…dad, wha…what are you t…two doing?” I stammered. I knew very damned well what they were doing! Nee-chan and Dad were fucking making out! And she didn’t have a frigging shirt on!
