To Die Young
*Author's Note: I'm still sick! Keep comments coming and I'll respond as much as possible <3
Sai took his seat gracefully back down on his bench, picking up his book that he left behind, sitting it back in his lap. Naruto came stomping soon afterwards, about to sit back down next to Sai, but huffed, electing to sit next to Sakura instead. He put his arm around his female companion, making the pink-haired ninja squeek. “Naruto! What are you…EEEP!” she screamed as Naruto grabbed her tit so freely. “…Naruto…”, she growled, making her right hand into a tight fist. Naruto was too busy glaring at Sai as Sai watched emotionlessly at the scene in front of him. Sakura’s arm came up and down as her tightly balled fist made contact with Naruto’s former erection. “OUF!” coughed the boy, grabbing Sakura’s fist that was between his legs, and boring down still as she tried to push his ball into a prepubescent, non-descending state. Sai cracked a small smile, turning his eyes to look back out of the window.
“NARUTO! YOU PERVERTED IDIOT! WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE GRABBING ME LIKE THAT?! DO YOU WANT TO DIE YOUNG, FOOL??!” Naruto looked like he was about to faint as Yamato sighed, standing up from his seat and walked over to his underlings. He looked over at the scene, rubbing the bridge of his nose as he shook his head. He didn’t say anything, instead he just grabbed Naruto by the ear like a child, pulling him back to sit with the teacher because he was in trouble. Naruto limped without any objection, holding his sack the entire time. “…My balls….She broke them…”, he muttered over and over again, tears in his eyes. “Indeed she might have”, Yamato said, sitting back down with his newspaper as Naruto sat on the seat in front of him, falling to one side like a wooden puppet. “I’m dying…Sensei…I’m dying…”
Sakura had to huff, calming herself down as she blushed from the invasion of privacy. She looked over at Sai, who was entirely to calm and collected, it was almost eerie. “He..hehehe…”, she giggled nervously. “Sorry about that…Sai….Hey, um. Are you okay?” Sai moved his eyes to look at her, then sat up straight, putting on a smile. “Yes, I’m fine. Thank you.” The way he spoke sounded more like a brush off to her conversation starter, so she tried to change the subject. “Are you excited about going to the festival? I know we are suppose to be guarding, but Yamato-sensei assures us that it’s nothing more then some fans getting out of hand. It’s still like a little vacation for us. Have you every been to a festival before, Sai?” she asked, smiling friendly. Sai turned his attention back to the window, nodding. “A few times. The people are usually distracted and thinking a public place won’t make them easy targets, but it does.”
“That….That’s not what I meant…”, she said nervously, forcing another smile. “I mean, not to kill anyone. Just for fun…you know…sweets, games, fireworks….” Sai looked at her again, raising his eyebrows. “Hm? Well…no. I guess I haven’t done really anything for fun…”, he smiled thoughtfully. “Fireworks, you say? That does sound nice…” Sakura sighed in relief, giving a nod. “Yeah, you really like art so I bet you’ll love the fireworks and the kimonos! You can play games to win prizes and stuff too like masks, toys, foods, drinks, stuffed animals, candy…lots of stuff! We’re gonna have a really good time~” Sai only smiled more at that. “Naruto likes those things.” The female ninja huffed, crossing her arms “Who cares what that idiot likes. We can go have fun without him…I brought some money, but it’s not a whole lot…”
“I have money.”
“Eh?” she asked, looking up at him as she dug in her back pouch for her wallet. Sai opened his backpack, reaching inside and pulled out a pretty fat money clip. “Is this enough?”
Around that time, Naruto had come back, sitting next to Sai again. His and Sakura’s jaw had dropped at Sai’s cash wad. “WOW, Sai! Where did you get all of this from?!” they both asked in unison. Sai was a little confused, looking at it. “It’s not a lot. I just took some for supplies…”, he shrugged, tucking it away in his backpack and shoved his book inside before zipping it up. Sakura looked at him for a minute, then had an idea. “Oh, that’s right. You’re with ANBU. You get a salary like Yamato-sensei and you live alone right?” Sai gave another nod, looking at Naruto. Naruto looked back at him, raising an eyebrow. “What?”
“Will you watch take me to watch the fireworks?” Naruto blinked, feeling his face heat up, so he started to laugh. “What? We’re all going to see them, stupid. You can’t really miss them! I’ve been here lots of times before so I know this one place where you look up and you see EVERYTHING!….SAKURA! You’re gonna watch them with me too right?!”
