Ch.4
On the way to Naruto's apartment Tsunade decided it was time Naruto should know about his past and and his origins as the prison of the Kyubi.
"Naruto, stop, wait"
"Yeah, Granny Tsunade"
"I need to tell you something.. It's something that you should have been told ages ago but weren't because of a decree by the Third Hokage, though he had good reasons. You see, The Fourth hokage was the one who sealed the Demon within you."
"Actually mam, I knew that already that the fox told me during our first meetings while I was training with Jaryia."
"Ok but here is something you probably didn't know the Fourth was named Minato Namazaki, and his fiance was name Kushinna Uzumaki. She was your mother and the Fourth was your father." At this point Naruto's jaw had hit the floor.
"Wha...Wha...Why would he do that to me? To his own son!Why would he bind this demon inside me?!"
"Because, he knew he wouldn't be here to protect you," Tsunade screamed, "Because he realized he would have to do something that sickened him. He would have to leave you alone, to protect you and the village he loved. Your father was fighting Kyubi when he got the message that you had been born, and your mother had died giving birth. Some believe that's when he knew what he would have to do. You see your father used a very powerful jutsu known as "The Reaper Death Seal." This technique can be used to kill anyone in an instant, no matter their strength, but that kind of power comes at a cost. The person who uses the jutsu loses their life as well. Minamoto modified the techique to bind the demon to you to give you the strength to protect yourself after he was gone. The Third also thought that your father wanted you to be seen as a hero. But the villagers couldn't look past that inside you was the beast that almost destroyed the village, and couldn't dishtinguish between the two of you. So the Third decreed that no one should talk about the incident under strict punishment, hoping that you would be accepted by the other kids your age. Unfortunatly that didn't happen because the kids picked up their parents animosity for you just because of the way they acted. I'm sorry things didn't work out the way the Third or your father wanted. But I think given the choice again they wouldn't change their decisions. They made the right choices and that is the type of decision you will have to make when you become hokage."
Naruto seemed like he was going to break down when he said, "Why now? Why tell me this now?!" Then the tears that had been threatening to come burst from his eyes.
"Because you deserve to know! Because, I think you are ready to hear this, and you deserve to know the whole truth so you can tell that girl, who you claim to love, the whole truth. Because she deserves to know the whole truth about who you are." At this point both Tsunade and Naruto were crying. Naruto was crying because he finally knew just how much his father truly loved him. While Tsunade had been overwhelmed by the sheer emotional roller coaster she had just put this boy, that she had taken in as one of her own, through.
"Listen I want you to go and get some sleep and before you go see Hinata tomorrow stop by my office. I have something I need to give you." Some how Tsunade and Naruto had made their way from the hospital to his apartment, and were now standing just outside. "Now get in there before I knock you out."
