You Belong With Me

Naruto ran around his house, trying to clean the place up before Sasuke came over. He was feeling a little nervous and anxious. Everything had to be perfect tonight. Tonight was the night; he was coming out to his best friend and the love of his life. Naruto grinned at the scenarios that flooded his mind. Naruto would confess his undying love for Sasuke and then Sasuke would confess his love to Naruto. Then Naruto would carry him into the bedroom where they make love for the first time. Or Naruto would tell Sasuke how he felt and then Sasuke would proceed to drag him to the bedroom and Naruto would fuck him hard and relentlessly for hours and hours. Either way, they were both gonna end up in Naruto’s bed and at this point Naruto really didn’t care how they got there. The doorbell rang and Naruto’s heart did a quick jump. He walked as calmly as he could to his front door and opened it to greet his friend. On the other side, Sasuke smiled at Naruto and held up a grocery bag filled with ramen.

“I did promise you ramen, remember?”

“Yes you did. Now hand it over!” Naruto replied with a huge grin on his face and he grabbed the bag and gestured for Sasuke to come inside. Naruto made his way into the kitchen and started preparing the ramen.

“So how did it go with Karin?”

“She cried. It sounded like a donkey dying or something. Then Suigetsu tried to pick a fight with me again for making “his” girl cry. I thought that was pretty amusing.”

Naruto walked into the living room and made his way to the couch Sasuke was currently sitting on. He set the ramen down in front of them before he turned to look at Sasuke. Sasuke glanced at the ramen and then back to Naruto.

“Is something wrong?”

“No…why would something be wrong?” Naruto replied with confusion on his face.

“Well normally you would be inhaling your ramen and then asking if I was gonna eat mine.”

Naruto giggled at Sasuke and then promptly shut his mouth. He couldn’t believe he giggled. Giggled like a 12 year old school girl. The nervous feeling began to take over as he finally grasped the situation. No more fantasies or scenarios to play out in his head. Sasuke was here, in his house, and Naruto was going to tell him the truth after all these years. Except Naruto’s brain was no longer communicating with his mouth. He just sat there, staring at Sasuke, not sure what to say.

“Umm…well…I…Do you want something to drink? Let me get you some water.”

Naruto bolted up before Sasuke could respond. He practically ran to the kitchen and got 2 glasses and filled them up with water. How could that have happened? Why was he such a wimp? Was it really that hard to say? He hit his head against the cabinet and sighed. As he was mentally berating himself for being an idiot, he didn’t hear Sasuke make his way into the kitchen.

“It’s me isn’t it?”

Naruto jumped at the voice and spun around to face his friend. Sasuke stood with his hands in his pockets, staring at the ground and looking ashamed.

“What do you mean?”

“I mean, you’re still freaked out cuz I’m gay aren’t you?”

Naruto’s eyes widened and guilt flooded through him.

“No, of course I’m not freaked out! I don’t mind that you’re gay, I swear?”

“Then why are you acting so jumpy and nervous?”

Naruto stood completely still. He should tell Sasuke. It was the perfect opportunity. But when he tried to say something, his mouth wouldn’t function right and he began to stutter.

“I…you…it’s…we…uhh…”

Sasuke scoffed and turned to walk out of the kitchen. ‘Oh no he’s leaving. I have to stop him, I have to tell him!’

“Sasuke wait!”

Sasuke stopped and stood with his back to Naruto. Naruto took a deep breath and tried to confess the truth to Sasuke.

“The reason I’m so nervous is because I….I lo-“

“Just forget it Naruto. You don’t have to make up excuses. I understand…guess our friendship wasn’t as strong as I thought it was.”

Sasuke didn’t look at Naruto as he kept walking. Naruto remained in the kitchen with his mouth open. How could Sasuke honestly believe that? They had been through everything together and he really thought that Naruto would just abandon him like that? Naruto became angry and stormed into the living room.

“How could you even think that? Our friendship is the only thing that matters to me. It matters more than my music, my school and especially more than your sexual preference. You could want to screw monkeys and I wouldn’t care because you’re my best friend. You are the thing that comes first in my life, above everything else.”

Sasuke glared at Naruto before walking up to him and standing in front of him, their noses barely an inch apart.

“Well if I mean so much to you, why are you acting like this? You’re never nervous around me and all of a sudden, after my big confession, you get freaked out. And I’m supposed to believe that that’s just coincidence? I’m not an idiot Naruto so why not just come right out and say it? Tell me what you really think of your best friend, the faggot!”

Naruto responded without thinking and pressed his lips to Sasuke’s. He barely heard anything Sasuke had just said but when Sasuke got in his face, all he could concentrate on were those lips. He saw them moving and he felt the warm breath on his face. He couldn’t hold back anymore and claimed Sasuke’s mouth in a kiss.
Sasuke stood in shock as his best friend kissed him. He defiantly had not expected this. He felt Naruto lick his bottom lip as a request to enter his mouth. That gesture pulled Sasuke out of his shock and he opened his mouth. His eyes closed as Naruto’s tongue met his and he moaned in ecstasy. Sasuke wrapped his arms around Naruto’s neck and laced his fingers through golden hair. Naruto’s tongue was tracing over every part of his mouth in a slow and sensual movement.

Naruto placed his right hand on Sasuke’s hip and pulled him closer until there was no space in between them. Naruto took his left hand and placed it on the back of Sasuke’s neck, tilting the man’s head to the side as his tongue plunged further into the welcoming mouth. He felt Sasuke respond with his own tongue. It flicked across his before pushing back against it. Naruto’s tongue retreated back into his mouth as Sasuke’s followed and continued to play with it. Both boys stood holding each other, total bliss and happiness surrounding them.
Naruto pulled back and slowly opened his eyes. He smiled as he saw onyx eyes gazing back at him. Naruto leaned in and kissed Sasuke’s lips and then moved to his nose, his check, his jaw and down his neck. Sasuke moaned as Naruto scraped his teeth lightly over his Adam’s apple. Naruto pulled back and looked deep into Sasuke’s eyes.

“I love you Sasuke. I’ve loved you for years and I meant what I said earlier. You are the most important thing in my life. You are my world and I don’t ever want to lose you.”
Sasuke’s eyes glistened with tears as he heard Naruto’s confession. He tried to look away but Naruto placed his hand on his check and turned his head to face him.

“Are you ok?”

“Yea…yea…I just…feel silly for crying, you know?”

Naruto smiled and wiped away Sasuke’s tears. “I hope these are tears of joy and not sadness.”

Sasuke took Naruto’s hand and kissed his palm. He laced their fingers together and looked into the eyes of his
best friend. He saw love, devotion, desire and longing.

“I am happy…beyond happy…I love you too Naruto.”

Naruto’s grin spread even wider across his face and he lifted Sasuke into the air and spun him around. He had never been so happy in his entire life. He put Sasuke down and kissed him again. Their tongues collided once again but this time it wasn’t slow and sensual. This time it was passionate and heated. Both boys were breathing heavily through their noses, their hands roaming over each other’s body. Sasuke let his hands run down Naruto’s chest. He felt Naruto’s heartbeat under his hand and ran his hands back up until he was wrapping his arms around Naruto’s neck. His fingers laced through blonde hair as his tongue played with Naruto’s.
He felt weightless and amazing. Feeling Naruto’s tongue playing with his, his hands as they moved across his body, it was the best feeling in the world. Naruto’s hands floated down his back until they reached the back of Sasuke’s thighs.

“Hold onto me” Naruto whispered against Sasuke’s lips. Sasuke barely had enough time to tighten his hold around Naruto’s neck before Naruto picked him up and wrapped Sasuke’s legs around his waist. He started walking down the hall to his bedroom. Once they got inside, Naruto dropped Sasuke onto his bed and crawled on top of him. He broke his lips away from Sasuke to look into his eyes. This was it; he was going to have sex with the love of his life, right here, right now. Before he could say anything, he heard his phone ringing. He sat up and looked at the phone sitting on his night stand.

“You have got to be kidding me?!?!”

Sasuke sat up and kissed Naruto. “Just answer it and then we can pick up where we left off”.

Naruto sighed in frustration and grabbed his phone. He looked at the caller ID and recognized the number as Sakura’s. She knew Sasuke was here, why would she call him?!?! He flipped open his phone and put the phone to his ear.

“WHAT!?!?”

“Naruto, I am so sorry! I know Sasuke’s there and I wouldn’t even be calling you if this wasn’t important.”

“What’s going on?”

“Well Ino convinced the principal to let us play at the dance and we are going on in 20 minutes. I really wanted you and Sasuke to be here when I play the song. It would be so romantic, please?”

Naruto sighed and looked over at Sasuke. He covered the mouth piece of the phone with his hand.

“Sasuke, Sakura has a surprise for us at the school dance, do you think we could stop by for a minute and then we can finally be alone?”

Sasuke sighed in frustration before replying, “I guess. If we don’t, I’m sure Sakura will hold this over our heads for forever. Ok we can stop by, but we better hurry back. I really, REALLY want to spend this night with you, not with the entire school.”

“Don’t worry Sasuke, It’ll be worth it, I promise.” Naruto said with a grin on his face. He uncovered the phone and gave Sakura the go ahead. Tonight really was going to be perfect.
