The meeting

Four weeks passed before Tsunade called Kakashi back to her office. It had taken this long because she wanted to analyze the scroll closely because she had hoped that she would be able to reverse the effect of the scroll on her own before she would send anyone to negotiate with the greedy Uchiha.

She hadn´t been able to find a solution that didn´t involve Sasuke´s talents, and even though Kakashi had the Sharingan he wouldn´t be strong, or skilled enough to keep the Kyuubi calm long enough for her to repair the damage (if she would be able too at all). She knew that it would be a piece of cake for the last survivor of the fallen clan but she would prefer to avoid his interference as long as possible. His demands were…not something she liked to deal with, but it seemed that she had no choice.

There was no other way left than to ask Sasuke to help out, even though she knew that his demands was something that she legally wouldn´t be able to accept… and that was why this had to be done in secrecy.

“Tsunade-sama, I have picked my team and we have spent these past weeks on training to be at our best. We are ready to take on any mission you want,” Kakashi told her. He was in her office on his own while his team waited outside the room.

This was a top secret mission after all and usually only the team captain was informed about the full extent of an S-Class mission. It was safer that way because the less who knew of the mission objective the less risk there was that something might be revealed if anything went wrong.

“Who did you pick?” the Hokage asked. She paced the room like she had done all night after making the decision that she would give Sasuke anything in her power to give as long as he would come back here and save her gaki.

She didn´t care if she would get fired and banned from Konoha, she was willing to do almost anything to save Naruto´s life. After all she had been the one who had forced him to be sealed in the ice and now it was her duty to ensure that he would be freed again. More than a month had passed since then already…She had promised him that it would only be a month but was a promise that the Hokage hadn´t been able to keep, and it made her feel like she betrayed his trust in her.

“Sakura, Neji and Kiba,” the copy nin informed her. “Kiba´s good nose and combined with Neji´s Byakugan it is perfect to track anyone down and Sakura strength is-”

“You don´t have to explain your choice to me, I accept the formation,” the blonde woman interrupted him. “Your mission will be to meet with Uchiha Sasuke and tell him that I will accept all of his reasonable terms in return for coming back here and save Naruto´s life. I must object to demand number 3, tell him that he has to pick something else.”

“…” Kakashi was a little surprised by this. “What are his demands?”

“…” Tsunade handed the former ANBU captain the scroll that contained the Uchiha´s demands for now.

“But Hokage-sama, all this says is that he wants to meet with you to discuss-” He shut up when she glared angrily at him and he understood that she didn´t like it either but that there was no other way. “As you wish. I will do my best to keep Sasuke-kun´s demands realistic so that none of us will get into too much trouble.”

Hinata knelt in front of the block of ice, feeling too tired to stay on her feet. She had come to tell Naruto what was going on in the city and how Neji had reassured her that everything would be fine before he had left on a top secret mission early this morning.

“You will be united with me again soon, I am sure of it,” she mumbled sleepily. The Hyuuga heir still couldn´t sleep probably at night and she was lucky if she got an hour or two of sleep. She had back rims beneath her pale eyes and she was tired all the time, and as if that wasn´t bad enough she also had been sick this morning.

She hadn´t been able to keep any food down all day and it made her grumpy and long for sleep that wouldn´t come to her.

Her stomach growled lightly in a mix of hunger and nausea and she wondered what kind of flu would last this long. ´Maybe I should see a medic about this if it doesn´t go away soon, I don´t want to look like this when we free Naruto-kun from the ice.”

Sasuke sat at a small table, sipping at his tea when Kakashi and his team entered the restaurant to meet with him. Kakashi sat down opposite his former student while his teammates took a seat nearby to make sure that no one would listen in on their conversation. It had taken them quite a while to find the Uchiha and nearly three months had passed since team Kakashi had left Konoha for this mission.

“I was expecting to see your Hokage,” Sasuke said dryly while calmly studying the four tense Konoha nin. “I am a bit disappointed.”

“She can´t just leave the city to talk to anyone who wants an audience with her, especially not when it is a missing nin,” Kakashi told the younger man while fishing out the scroll that Sasuke had written his demands onto.

“Well if you are going to insult me then I´ll leave, my time is too valuable to waste it on nonsense,” the Uchiha said coldly and rose to his feet but stopped when Kakashi raised his hand, just like the raven had expected.

“…I am sorry, I didn´t… mean to offend you Sasuke. Tsunade-sama sent us here to negotiate with you about your demands for coming back to Konoha with us.” The silver haired nin hated to have to apologize to the arrogant youth but what else was there left to do? They needed Sasuke´s help and it was clear that the Uchiha was very aware of that.

“Hn.” The raven sat back down, a satisfied smirk gracing his handsome features. “What is the Dobe´s current condition anyway?”

“…” Kakashi drew in a deep breath and told the Uchiha how the council had demanded that Naruto was to be sealed in ice till a permanent solution would be found to repair the broken seal. “…And that is why we need your help to control the Kyuubi long enough for the Hokage to repair the seal. You will be well paid and compensated for your effort of course.”

Sasuke leaned back in his seal and gave his former sensei a thoughtful glare. He realized that they knew a little about the Dobe´s condition but not enough to save Naruto. They still believed that they could just “fix” something that was broken even though the Kyuubi´s gate wasn´t really damaged at all, it had just been cracked open and just needed the right skills and jutsu to be closed again.

“Well paid and compensated you say?” Sasuke leaned forward, resting his elbows on the surface of the wooden table and laced his fingers like he always did when he was thinking. “Does this mean that my demands will be accepted no matter what they are?”

“What did you have in mind?” Kakashi asked his former student and Sasuke handed him a scroll. “We have been authorized to offer you something else in return,” The Jounin answered before he even took a look at the contents of the scroll. His visible eye grew wider and wider with each demand he read.

“I want all of these demands granted and I will only return to Konoha and save your precious Dobe if the Hokage signs it, she can make a copy if she likes,” the raven said emotionlessly and sipped at his tea. He knew that he was asking for a lot, but then again he was Naruto´s only chance of survival.

“Are you even sure that you can repair the seal?” Kakashi asked and fought back the urge to kick his former student in the balls for smirking like that. Sasuke was way too confident, way too sure that they would give him whatever he wanted and it made the copy nin fear that this was only the beginning of a shitload of trouble.

“Oh I know that I am the only one who knows what is really wrong with the Usuratonkachi, and I am the only one who can save his ass,” the raven said and crossed his arms in front of him while smiling smugly at the older nin who frowned as a result. He knew that he had the advantage here and he could see that Kakashi was aware of that too.

“What do you really want Sasuke?”

“I want all the things I listed on that scroll or you can leave the Dobe where he is, I bet that the city has become a nice and quiet place after he´s gone,” the raven said even though he didn´t want to leave Naruto in a block of ice longer than necessary. He needed the blonde to be healthy so that he could play with him. “But I´m not unreasonable, I´ll give your Hokage the opportunity to set up some rules so that she still feels like she is in a little bit in control.”

Hinata sat down in front of her family doctor and asked the gray haired woman to examine her because her condition had worsened during the past week. The Hyuuga heir threw up every morning and the lack of sleep made her really cranky.

The medic smiled at her and began with taking the young´s woman´s temperature which was slightly higher than normal.

“Well your throat looks fine, no sign of an infection there Hinata-sama, may I ask how long that you have felt like this?” the old woman asked.

“A little over four months and it is only getting worse. I thought that I had caught the flu… but that usually only lasts for a week or two,” the Hyuuga heir muttered.

“Hm, maybe you caught a viral infection,” the medic told her patient. Quite a lot of people had gotten infected by a virus or the flu but thankfully it was easily treatable. “I will give some antibiotics and something to make you fall asleep, oh and I must ask you to stay in bed. It might be contagious, so wear a mask when you go outside. Come back in a week and I´ll examine you again.”

Hinata nodded and took the prescription note before she left the medics office. Maybe the old woman was right; maybe this was nothing but a stupid viral infection.

Kakashi stared at the smugly smiling Uchiha. The raven was too satisfied with their reaction to his new demands in the Jounin´s opinion, but no matter how much he disliked Sasuke´s demands he had been given instruction to give him anything he wanted if Sasuke returned to Konoha with them.

“So?” Sasuke asked when his former sensei didn´t say anything. “What will it be? Can I have what I want or not?”

“You ask for a lot,” the silver haired man said and sighed.

“I know but you ask a lot in return,” the Uchiha said casually before sipping at his tea. “If I accept to return to Konoha then I´ll have to stay there, and I really treasure my freedom. I won´t accept to live in the city without ensuring that I can be as comfortable as possible.” He wasn´t going to let anyone double cross him, and if anyone as so much as went anywhere near him with chakra suppressing devices after he returned to that shithole he would burn the city of the hidden leaf to the ground, and save Naruto without their interference.

Naruto would be angry with him, very angry for sure if he destroyed the city, but then again he would have to power to control the Dobe´s body and his demon… Naruto also wasn´t one who could stay angry or vengeful for too long so Sasuke wasn´t really all that worried. The Dobe would forgive him eventually… though things would be so much easier if the Hokage would just give him what he wanted.

“…I have to talk to Tsunade-sama about this,” Kakashi said in defeat and noticed that the Uchiha knew something about Naruto´s condition that they didn´t.

“I am not going back to Konoha before your Hokage has accepted my demands,” Sasuke stated as a fact.

“But that will take even longer!” Sakura barked from the other table which made Kakashi sigh. “Tsunade-sama promised Naruto to free him as soon as possible.”

“Well I am not doing anything before this deal has been sealed and it´s not like the Dobe is going anywhere-” Sasuke caught Sakura´s fist before it connected with his face, and he continued to talk as if she had never tried to hit him. “But since I like the Usuratonkachi better than the rest of you I am willing to follow you as far as four days travel from Konoha where I will wait for your return with the signed scroll.”

Kakashi motioned to Sakura to return to her post before he said anything. “We can accept that. We would like to leave right away, it´s a long way back to Konoha.”

“Give me half an hour,” Sasuke said and glared at Sakura who still seemed shocked that he had blocked her powerful punch that easily. He had caught one of her hardest hits as if her move had been light like the touch of a butterfly´s wing.

Kakashi noticed the pink haired girl’s distress and decided to show his more human side by giving her a quick hug. “Don´t worry, everything will be fine.”

“How?” she asked and looked up at him in disbelief. Kakashi had let her read the scroll because she hadn´t stopped nagging him about it. “You have read his demands, how can Tsunade-sama ever accept something like that. I want Naruto to be free and healthy again as soon as possible… but isn´t this too high a price to pay?”

“…Maybe it is a bit much to sacrifice three people’s lives in return of saving one man, but then again, those three deserve it for what they did.”

“What do you mean?” Sakura asked because she was too young to know what the three people in question had done.

“I will tell you some other time,” Kakashi whispered when he saw the last surviving Uchiha reappear. “Are we ready to go home?”

Tsunade was pissed and once more she found herself pacing her office while trying to calm down before she would end up killing someone. Homura had taken a liking to the idea that Naruto was better left where he was at the moment. He had the nerve to suggest to the council that they should create a new jinchuuriki. Apparently Danzou had gotten his hands on another Bijuu, though she hadn´t stayed around long enough to hear which one he had caught.

How dared they turn their backs on Naruto, to give up on his life that easily after all that her gaki had done for Konoha… and who had they in mind to become the next jinchuuriki? No one inside Konoha would give up their newly born child to become a living breathing tool, a protector of the city, no, the idea alone was crazy.

She had to find a way to stop those old fools before they would create another unhappy child like Naruto, a child who would be hated, abandoned and shunned for something that he or she had no influence on. She wouldn´t, no couldn´t allow it, just like she wouldn´t allow them to keep her gaki trapped in a chunk of ice forever.

They reached a small civilian city less than 4 days travel from the huge forests that surrounded Konoha and was giving the city its name as the city of the hidden leaves. Sasuke gave them a bored glare when they left after he had reassured him that he would stay in the small town for a month and then he would leave because he hated to waste time. The raven told them that he would head towards Ame where Suigetsu had settled down after the fall of the Akatsuki.

The former Kiri nin had found a place that offered the perfect environment for his obsession with water. Ame was the realm of eternal rain and it made sure that he would never get dehydrated. Sasuke had always liked Suigetsu even if the blue haired nin could be annoying as hell…. Just like a certain blonde Dobe… Hm maybe that was why Sasuke liked Suigetsu, because he somehow reminded him of Naruto.

Sasuke didn´t know where the other two were, and he didn´t really care… Well that wasn´t entirely true because he hadn´t mind to have Juugo around, the big man was very quiet and calming to be around when he was in control of himself. The Uchiha suddenly wondered how Juugo was doing now that there was no one around him who could make him calm down if the cursed mark took over.

Karin, the ass grabbing redhead was somewhere in the country of the Rock, searching for some distant family that might have survived the war. He wasn´t really missing her at all, well other than her healing skills… even though he always suspected that she liked it a little bit too much that he had to bite her to activate her powers.

She was a kinky one… but so was he, and biting was good.

He had used her as long as she was useful to him, and why not? She had hit on him all the time, so why not take advantage of it? Not that he had ever slept with her, only a selected few had been so lucky to get that honor, and she wasn´t amongst them. Not that she wasn´t nice looking and all… but she was just way too clingy and desperate to turn him on.

Sasuke had long ago learned that he had no special preference for females. Male partners were just as attractive to him. The thing that triggered it for him was a certain exotic look, emotion filled eyes and of course their behavior along with the strength. If they hadn´t spirit and a strong will they would never become his bedmate.

There was no fun about it if they just bend over for him right away, no, the sex was so much more fun if they didn´t give in to him too easily.

Nothing turned him on as much as a good challenge, and of course if they liked it as rough as he did.

Biting and leaving visible marks, the feeling of nails digging into your skin, and the never ending the battle for dominance. Such intense and almost ferocious love making that you would be forced to scream in raw passion when your mind exploded into an incredibly strong orgasm.

But sadly such partners were hard to find, but hopefully he would find that in Konoha… the Dobe had always had that certain ability to make him feel all the right things.

Oh well, there was no point in thinking too much about the past right now. He rolled his shoulders to get rid of the tension before he began to search for an Inn where he would stay for the next two weeks.

´I hope they won´t let me wait here for too long, I really do hate to waste my time. `
