*Dog Days*

Kiba watched out the window frowning as he pulled at the metal cuff link around his arm, he couldn’t believe his sister went as far as handcuffing him to a solid oak desk just to keep him in this room.

He wasn’t doing anything either and calling the dog catcher a heartless son of a bitch that could go die, defiantly was not something to hit him over and lock him up in here.

He yanked at his arm again, he didn’t see why his sister was letting those bastards take those dogs just because there owners abandoned them here, they could have taken them home, 26 dogs was not to many.

He kicked the wall, how could that bastard be smiling at her and laughing when he was going to kill those dogs; it was not like his sister to just let it go either, if anyone should be yelled at it was her! Just letting them go like that!

With his free hand Kiba lifted, his middle finger with a glare as the male looked at him threw the window, his anger wheeling up when the tall man just smiled/smirked as him and waved.
It was bullshit, complete bullshit and tonight he would be calling up his best friend and partner in crime, Naruto, for tonight they would be pulling a rescue mission... again, this time though he would be smarter about it, and not get stuck in the fences.

This was far from over, and he would get those dogs back...


Kankuro sighed scratching the back of his head as he watched two younger men cut the fence in the back, he rolled his eyes at how hard they were trying to be sneaky, did they know how much noise they were making? He was sure they did, it made him chuckle when they started yelling at each other followed by a brief wrestling match before they were calling it a truce and continuing onwards.


They defiantly did not have breaking and entering in them; they really shouldn’t have even tried. However, it was lucky for them that he was a good person and well it was excessively funny to watch instead of busting them... Though that would be funny too, na, he would just watch a bit longer…

It was 30 minutes later and he was on the verge of laughing so hard he would be crying. As they finally made into the back door, and the shocked looks on there faces were priceless, well mainly Kiba’s face when all the kennels were empty his laughing coming to a light chuckle.

"Where the hell are they you heartless fucker!" Kiba yelled.

"Who?" Kankuro pushed himself off the wall with a smile, as Kiba growled at him. ”You fucking know who.”

Oh.” Kankuro grinned. "If your looking for the dogs there at the new facility outside of town." And that look was even better. "You’re welcome to go by it during work hours though we ask for donations before you take any of the animals."

"W-what?" Kiba’s arms fell to his sides. "B-but you guys were full."

Kankuro laughed, earning a glare. "Yes we were full hence why we moved, and put what down? Like I told your sister, we're a no kill shelter.” The male angry was fun but the shocked expressions were even better.

Kiba’s arms dangled at his sides as his mouth hung open.

"Uh, well this was a waste of time I could have been eating my ramen..."Naruto mumbled. “Hey, where’s the exit I’m going home."

Kankuro chuckled again pointing behind him listening to the grumbling blond leave, while Kiba still stood there still in shook.

"So then if you would like to go there tomorrow you can volunteer to play with them too since you like dogs so much. Come on I’ll give you a ride home." Kankuro turned from the male smirking, as he started moving.

"Huh?" He made an ass out of himself? Then... Kiba coughed slightly. "Hey my bad, uh, sorry about jumping to conclusions and you know all the name calling and threats and plotting of your demise." Out of everything, he made himself into the asshole. "So..." Oh, man this sucked.

"Don’t worry about it though you’re the first to ever freak out like this instead of just asking if we put them down or not." Kankuro mused internally laughing again. "I’m surprised though; your sister said she would tell you."

"She’s evil." He mumbled following the other out. She did it on purpose so he would make a fool of himself. Oh, he would get her back for this; his sister really was a cruel woman. "Still though I’m sorry man... for ya know assuming things." Kiba mumbled he would plot her demise now instead.

"If your really sorry tomorrow night go out with me."

Kiba looked at the smiling male. "Your sister told me you were single." Kiba’s eyebrow’s raised as Kankuro‘s smile turned into a cocky grin...

“You both set me up didn’t you?” Kiba stopped in his tracks lifting an accusing finger at the other male, his mouth hanging open when the older male just chuckled darkly as he continued walking.

“Jackass I’ll go with you but only because it’s a free meal and I need to know what kind of man is taking care of those dogs.” Kiba yelled as he ran to catch up with Kankuro who was grinning.

“So you wanna skip the date and just go to my place now?”

Kiba stopped again his eyebrow twitching. “As if I’d do you!” He looked up when he felt an arm wrap around his shoulder, wondering how in the hell this guy next to him so fast.

“Now who said anything about you doing me? It’s the other way around baby, your ass is mine.” Kankuro grinned licking the shell of Kiba’s ear. “It sounds like an interesting challenge though, shall we get started?”

Kiba gulped slightly, shit why didn’t he just stay in bed today… no better yet why didn’t he just ask that simple question that would have saved him from the trouble that was soon to come…
