Hidden Love

The next day Gaara was sitting in his spot again watching Sakura boss Lee around again.



"Sakura-Chan I am sorry.. what does it matter if Kiba saw me take Gaara home and I did not take you home? I was helping him with something..." Lee muttered and sighed trying to continue getting his things out of his locker that he needed for the day, pushing his girlfriend out of his mind for a moment. She was being stubborn and ridiculous.



"Chojis car smells like old food! And my clothes now small like that! Give me my flower spray....and why did you let that...that gaywad in your car?" Sakura asked glaring at him and the redhead snorted. 'That's really the best insult she can come up with? The rest of their group says fag she needs to be more creative.' He thought and flipped to the page he had been drawing Lee and started to work on shading.



Lee could not help it, he had thought a lot last night and did not get much sleep about it and he just snapped. "So what if he is gay! Sakura-Chan, I love you.. but you are being unreasonable, things are changing alright. Being gay is nothing wrong love is love. If you love someone you put up with anything, no matter it be they constantly yell or they are the same sex.." Lee ranted on the pulled her perfume out of his locker and handed it to her. "I am sorry... I just.. I hung out with him yesterday and he trusts me again.. I like friends and I want to have a lot of friends ok..?"



"What?! Yeah there is something wrong with being gay it's not right! He just needs to learn to stop being such a little freak!" Sakura yelled and Gaara frowned and stood up gathering his things. "Wait...he trusts you again...hmm tell me more about him." She said lowering her voice. Naruto suddenly slipped past them and ran over tackling the redhead down onto the grass. "GAAAR!! I missssed you! You didn't walk home with me yesterday I got lonely." The blond said and Gaara rolled his eyes. "Get off me your crushing my lunch." He said.



Lee felt confused why his girlfriend suddenly had an interest but he took it the wrong way. Somehow his mind told him Sakura maybe wanted to know more about him to see he was not all that bad. "Well.." Lee's voice was brought low. "He is pretty smart and is an amazing artist. He drew a cat step by step for me to draw and his looked so life like.. I thought it was going to pop out of the paper.." Lee stated and went to go to rant but Sakura stopped him.



"Ooh so he's a artist...you know we are having a party at my house this weekend you should ask him to come along." Sakura said giving her best fake smile and reached out to run her hand down his arm in a flirty way. Gaara shoved the blond off him then got up dusting himself off. "Can we just go to class already before the hallways are filled up." The redhead said and looked over where Lee and Sakura were and frowned seeing the pink haired girl lean up to kiss Lee.



Lee's heart sunk a little as he watched the pink haired girl lean up to kiss him. Looking at her face he wondered. Just why had he fallen in love with her in the first place? The more he thought about it the more he realized that Sakura was not nice to him, and she always was trying to hurt him. Needless of what it was he just closed his eyes and let the pink haired girl kiss him. When she pulled back he sighed and stated, "Alright Sakura-chan.. I will get him to come.. I have to go to class now.." And he slipped away from her without saying an 'I love you' or a 'good bye' just wanting to get to theater class.



Sakura tilted her head watching him walk away then shrugged not really caring and ran over to Ino and right away demanding she would go buy her a soda. Gaara and Naruto had started to rough house and the redhead ran accidentally into Lee and gasped. "Oh shit!" He said grabbing Lee's jacket to keep him from falling over into the lockers. "Haha nice." Naruto said laughing as he ran over.



Lee was a bit surprised, his eyes widening momentarily and then he set his hands on Gaara's shoulders to support him. "Whoa are you ok?" He asked smiling at Gaara.



The redhead felt his heart beat a little faster and nodded stepping back. "Y-Yeah...let's go to class." He said and looked at Naruto who smirked at him. "What?" "Nothing, I didn't say anything." Naruto replied and walked ahead of them.



Lee let go of the redhead and adjusted his binder in his arms smiling. He chatted a little with Gaara on his way to the theater and after a loud introduction by Anko they continued learning their play in class. But this time, Lee was by far more confident. "Here you are Romeo. I have brought you the flowers Juliet requested..." Lee stated in a calm tone standing in front of Naruto but his eyes kept drifting to Gaara. He liked Gaara's eyes on him, watching him and being there to help if he messed up.



"Good." Gaara said and leaned back in his chair a little, he lifted a hand to slide it under his hood to push it back a little to scratch his head. "My hat is killing me.." He muttered and then tilted his head looking at his script. Naruto grinned at Lee and then laughed a little. "Want to go to the changing room so you can take it off?" He asked.



"Why can you not just take it off right here?" Lee asked tilting his head looking over at the redhead. 'Thinking of it I have not really seen what he looks like since we were kids.. he started wearing stuff to hide himself after I started hanging with Sakura.' Lee thought to himself.



"People give me shit about how I look...so no. Come on Naruto I need to cool off." Gaara said standing up and starting to walk over to the changing room. Naruto looked at Lee then fallowed the redhead. "My binder is lost in there can you help me find it?" He asked his best friend and Gaara sighed. "You lost it in the props again didn't you?" He asked and Naruto rubbed the back of his head sweat dropping.



Lee sighed watching his friends walk away and rubbed his arm. He really wasn't close to Gaara at all anymore was he? 'We will be friends forever, right?' After awhile Lee could not help it and he got impatient. He could hear Naruto's voice and a few noises from Gaara and raised an eye brow walking back into the dressing room. What he met made him turn dark red. Naruto's hand was under Gaara's shirt and the redhead was pinned. It did not even occur to Lee that Naruto was tickling the smaller boy and he turned looking away blushing. "S-Sorry!" He yelled out being awkward.



Gaara stopped laughing and blushed bright red and quickly rolled knocking the blond off him. "W-Wait! It's not what you t-think! He was tickling me." The redhead said and blinked when Naruto grabbed his chin and tilted his head up. "Oh you just want to hide our love." Naruto said jokily and Gaara twitched and slapped him lightly but still hard enough to hurt. "OW!! Your mean." Naruto whined and Gaara stood up pulling his sweat shirt back down. "You pervert stop doing that." Gaara snapped and folded his arms.



Lee was still red and awkward and when the bell rang he was starting to walk away. "N-No I know.. I u-uh.. I am going to our next class.. see you then Gaara.." The black haired male said awkwardly and left the room.
