Inbred

Short chapter, nothing special. A very weak attempt at more humour and I needed something to tie the previous chapter and the next two chapters together. This was the only thing I could come up with in such a short amount of time.

Chapter 40

"Keep your hands where I can see them, Uzumaki!"

Naruto sighed and gave the man on the shore a weary look. It had been almost a week since that day Neji tried to beat the crap out of him for that 'porn' incident and ever since then he'd been breathing down his neck whenever he and Hinata were together.

Naruto gestured to the girl he had in his arms, attempting the breast stroke in the water, as if to remind Neji that his arms were the only thing supporting her and preventing her from drowning.

"Neji, leave those two alone," the Uchiha drawled from behind the paper-backed book he was reading. Sasuke had been on his lover's side for the first few days. He had stood by and watched as Neji throttled his best friend and he had even gone so far as to warn Naruto that if he so much as laid a hand on the Hyuga in defense that he'd have to deal with him. That pretty much left the poor teen with the only option of running around the room like a chicken without its head but Sasuke believed that he had to take the blows like a man.

Hinata wasn't at all happy with the unfair treatment Naruto was receiving and ran to his aid. He was lucky she did that because Neji immediately ceased his assault and Naruto managed to walk away from the entire encounter none the worse for wear, although he suffered minor bruises to the head, a shoulder he swore was dislocated and pain in his spleen even though he had no idea what or where the spleen was.

Unfortunately, the violent Hyuga didn't think he'd been punished enough and banned them from seeing each other but Hinata cried bitterly and he had to change his mind after that. So, instead, he never gave them a moment alone and watched the two like a hawk.

Sasuke eventually got tired of his 'mother hen' syndrome and had put a stop to it, not because he felt sorry for the couple (well, he did) but mostly because Neji was too busy keeping an eye on them that they never got to have sex. Not that he could have sex with him if he wanted to anyway.

Sasuke had done something very stupid. It seemed like a good idea at the time but the consequences of his actions were not worth it in the long run. He had finally got around to cutting Neji's nails while the boy slept but when he awoke the Hyuga was livid and as his punishment Sasuke was not allowed to have sex with Neji until they grew back to their previous length.

That was the day he defaulted to the other team. They were all victims of Neji's terrible wrath so they had to stick together.

When the demanding general was comfortable that the blond-haired pervert wasn't fondling his cousin beneath the water he spread out his towel next to Sasuke and took a seat, leaning back on his arms and crossing his legs in front of him. He sighed and inhaled the cool sea breeze, letting the highs winds and sea spry caress his face and billow through his hair. He was glad he let Sasuke 'talk' him out of skipping classes today.

Actually, it was Naruto's idea but the funny thing was that Naruto was the one that didn't have any classes. Sasuke would have never gone along with it but Naruto knew of his recent celibacy and started putting images in his mind of a topless Neji, swimming gracefully through the water and emerging from the ocean, dripping wet with long beads of condensation trailing down his lithe body and disappearing beneath the waist band of the swimming trunks that clung desperately to his firm ass and delicate thighs.

Those weren't the Uzumaki's exact words but that was how Sasuke imagined it and that image was enough to pound down Hyuga's door demand everyone get dressed then herd them all into his vehicle and drive nearly fifty miles to the nearest beach. He was surprised he had been able to do so and hadn't passed out from the lack of blood that had drained from one head and flooded into the other.

Neji stretched as bonelessly as a cat and Sasuke peeked over the rim of his book to watch the other man raise both arms high above his head and arch his back, jutting his chest out ever so slightly and wiggling his toes at the relieving effects.

Sasuke's nostrils flared and his fingers itched to run themselves over his neck, shoulders and back. Neji sighed contentedly then reached out for the bottle of sun screen that lay nearby and proceeded to drizzle a generous amount along one arm and rub it into his skin.

Sasuke sat up and lay the book by his side, he had suddenly lost interest in it. Neji saw the Uchiha watching him through the corner of his eye and spoke to him even as he continued to massage the lotion into his elbow. "Don't get your hopes up, Uchiha. Remember, you're still on probation," he warned with a flat voice.

"I was only going to offer my help, Hyuga," he replied just as flatly.

Neji flashed him a sweet smile that irritated Sasuke. "I don't need your help."

"Oh no?" he grinned widely. "Then who's going to do your back?"

Neji returned the grin confidently. "I'll get Hinata to do it."

Sasuke seethed as the other boy stood and shouted to his cousin. Naruto helped her to her feet and she abandoned her lessons to rush to her cousin's side. The blond sighed his disappointment and headed over to an equally disappointed and sexually deprived Uchiha Sasuke.

Both men watched as Hinata liberally applied the sunscreen on Neji's back and Naruto was willing to trade anything to be in Neji's position while Sasuke wanted to be in Hinata's.

The dark-haired Uchiha sighed. "Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all," he muttered more to himself.

"Pfft! Tell me about," his friend concurred and locked his hands behind his head and laid back against the sand. "You're not the only one suffering."

Sasuke made a sound of dry amusement.

Naruto turned his head to look at him. "How are you holding up, man?"

"I've gone three months without it, a few days can't kill me," and he shrugged a shoulder as if to say 'No big deal'. But it was.

Naruto scoffed. He thought his friend had it easy. All he had to do was wait until Neji's nails grew back then they'd resume fucking like minks but as long as the Hyuga boy had breath in his lungs he wasn't going to allow the two teens one minute of privacy to themselves.

Both men thought the other didn't know how bad they had it.

The rest of the day progressed well enough and everyone managed to have fun and even Neji lightened up a little when Naruto started goofing around as usual. They had started to play tag but Hinata was much too slow so she just ended up watching, but the boys became much too violent and the little taps on the shoulders became hard slaps on the back and shoves in the chest.

Naruto hit Neji a little too hard for his liking and they broke into fight. Sasuke had to intervene and pulled the boys apart while Hinata stood at a safe distance and begged them to please stop fighting. They obeyed, but the second Sasuke released Neji and the second Hinata's back was turned they were back at each other's throats.

Sasuke lost his temper and picked Neji up by the waist then tossed him over his shoulder like a bag of flour, kicking and screaming.

"I think you need to cool off, koi," he said with an aggravated tone in his voice as he carried Neji out to sea.

The older man gasped and beat against his back with hard fists when he realized what Sasuke was going to do. "Uchiha, don't you dare."

With one swift motion he flung his lover into the air to send him hurtling backwards into the ocean. Neji shrieked with surprise just before he hit the water with a loud splash but when he surfaced he was mad as heck.

Sasuke watched him sputter and comb the hair away from his face with long fingers. It was almost like that fantasy he had earlier but only this time he probably wasn't going to live very long to enjoy it.

"Sasuke, I'm going to kick your a- Hey! Naruto! What the HELL do you think you're doing?"

Uchiha turned to see what he was referring to and saw the tanned blond, who had become a little darker under the scrutiny of the sun, lifting a frightened Hinata high into the air before releasing her to plop into the water below.

"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR FUCKING MIND, UZUMAKI?" the Hyuga boy roared, but before he could wade through the waist-deep water to shove a fist down the boy's throat, Sasuke picked him up again to toss him back into the ocean once more.

This too became a little game they played where they tried to dunk one another into the sea, but Hinata was much too weak to participate so she ended up suffering most of the brunt of it from the blue-eyed teen. Sasuke even got into the act and dunked her too but immediately after that he was jumped by her cousin and held under the water for an unhealthy length of time.

Naruto came to the aid of his friend and body slammed Neji into the water and the little game evolved into a wrestling match of sorts where each boy would try various moves like the fireman's carry, 'The Rock Bottom' and the samoan drop. Hinata had managed to scramble to the safety of the shore and watched in abject horror as Neji and his boyfriend subjected Naruto to an alternate version of the 3-D.

She jumped with a gasp when she heard a loud ringing and when she turned to investigate the source of the noise she noticed Uchiha Sasuke's cellphone vibrating on his towel.

She couldn't get her voice loud enough to reach them so she cautiously waded out to the boys with his cellphone outstretched in one arm. They stopped when they saw her approaching and she bit a thumb and blushed while stammering that the phone was for him. Sasuke thanked her and reached out to take it from her shaking hand and it slipped but he managed to catch it before it dropped into the water.

She apologized profusely and he assured her it was okay but it unnerved him to no end that she was always so uncomfortable around him. Even when he had dunked her earlier she had stiffened and made no attempt to struggle as opposed to when she squirmed and begged Naruto to let her go.

He shook his head. Why did girls always act so strange around him?

"Uchiha! ...Yeah...yeah...uh huh..."

The two boys that had frozen mid-battle watched as Sasuke made his way back to shore but when he suddenly became irritated they released each other and all three of them waded after him.

"Alright I'll be there as soon as I can," he growled then angrily slammed his phone shut without so much as a 'farewell' to the person on the other line.

"Something wrong, Sasuke?" his friend asked with a worried frown.

He ran an agitated finger through his hair and his lips quivered when he exhaled a particularly loud puff of air. "Yeah! Something's come up at the office and they're having a board meeting so I gotta get down there."

It was disappointing since no one was ready to leave yet but even if he had been in classes he'd have to be excused so he'd still end up making that sacrifice anyway.

They headed back to campus so Uchiha could bathe and get dressed and when he stepped into the living-room wearing his black business suit he was met with approving stares and cat-calls.

"Very nice, Sasuke," Neji complimented with a nod of his head and Naruto surmised that this was the first time Neji was seeing him dressed like this also.

Sasuke threw him a very annoyed glare as he buttoned the cuff at one wrist.

"Aww, why do you have to work today, Dad," and Naruto crossed his arms over his chest with a very convincing pout on his face. "We were gonna play catch today, you promised."

"Sorry sport," he replied while fastening the cuff at the other wrist. "But if I spent the time goofing around with you then I couldn't afford your video games, your sister's dolls or the lovely house we live in," and Naruto laughed at his impersonation of a workaholic father.

"Now, now Naruto," Neji cut in with that motherly voice of his. "I've told you before that 'Daddy's' job is very important, so give him a kiss then go outside and play with your sister."

Sasuke thought they were enjoying this way too much, and at his expense to boot.

Naruto jumped off of the couch and went over to 'dear old Dad' but instead of locking his arms around him in a hug he lightly rested his hands on his shoulders to avoid creasing his perfectly starched Armani suit.

He frowned when the boy planted a loud peck on his cheek then tried to push him away when he started sniffing around his neck.

"Dude! Are you wearing 'Hugo: Boss'?" and when Sasuke shifted uncomfortably Naruto broke out into a wide grin. The title of the fragrance suited the mighty Uchiha. "Seems, like there's a little hanky-panky goin' on at the office Ma," he teased while directing his observation to Neji.

"As long as he's coming home to me I could care less," replied the Hyuga boy and the two of them broke out laughing.

"Ha ha, very funny," Sasuke said with a roll of his eyes and a very sarcastic voice. "Are you two asses quite done yet?"

They exchanged a glance, looked at the Uchiha then looked at each other again and broke into a fresh round of hysterics.

"Yeah whatever, just fuck you both," and his childish comment just started the two boys all over again.

"How long will you be gone Sasuke?" the blond teen asked while wiping away a tear with his fingers.

He answered with a shrug. It was an hour and fifteen minute drive to the corporate headquarters and Tatami Iwashi, one of the board members, seemed pretty unsettled by whatever the problem was and if anything perturbed the usually complacent business man then it had to be something big.

"I dunno, maybe three, four hours. Will you two be alright by yourselves?" he asked motioning to Naruto and Hinata.

"Don't you mean the 'three' of us?" corrected his lover.

Sasuke grinned, "No, because you're coming with me."

"No I'm not!"

"Yes, you are."

"I'm not leaving these two alone again," he replied defiantly and crossed his arms over the grey buttoned-down shirt he had changed into.

"You can't play Hinata's body-guard forever," he added wearily. "Besides, I need to talk to you on the ride there."

"It can wait 'til you get back."

"No, It can't."

They exchanged an electrifying glare as if trying to make the other concede defeat but when Sasuke walked over to him and gripped his wrist firmly in one hand Neji swore and allowed the taller man to pull him to his feet.

"You two have fun now," he said as he led his partner towards the main door and into the hallway.

"But not too much," the Hyuga boy yelled back over his shoulder as the Uchiha locked the door and escorted him into the car park leaving a very amused Naruto and a very concerned Hinata behind.

This chapter didn't end very well. And it's short because I didn't want the serious mood of the next chapter and the comical mood of this one to mesh.
