Chapter 41 - Busted!
--------------
Chapter 41
He had missed her.
He missed holding her in his arms, pulling her close to him and caressing her shoulders and back with his hands. He had missed the way she felt and he earnestly reacquainted himself with the little spots along her back that made her shiver and moan.
She was arousing.
He had longed for the taste of her lips and his tongue desperately searched hers out as he drank from her, lapping at all corners and familiarizing himself with the insides of her mouth. He sampled the remnants of a mint-flavoured mouthwash and his head swam.
She was intoxicating.
He had yearned to hear the sound of her voice whispering his name, gasping with pleasure and moaning at his touches, and right now, more than anything, he wanted to hear her panting and screaming while he brought her to an orgasm.
She was driving him insane.
Naruto slipped his hands beneath her cotton blouse and her skin tingled where the pads of his fingertips brushed against her heated flesh. She clutched at his shoulders as they roamed higher to graze along the surface of her ribs and trace the generous underswell of her breasts. He cupped the soft mounds in large tanned hands and when he flicked his fingers over hard, little nipples she squirmed against his lap, causing the boy to gasp loudly when their groins rubbed together.
She was so damned hot.
Naruto tore the shirt off of her in one, swift, upward motion and Hinata shuddered at the rough treatment and the cold air that wafted over her skin, but Naruto didn't allow her to feel cold for very long. His fingers worked tirelessly to bring her to a heat she had experienced just about a week ago and they pinched, fondled and rubbed relentlessly against sensitive, pink nubs.
He gave her lips one lingering kiss before breaking away to lean her backwards and support her with a strong hand against her back so he could dip his head and take one creamy breast into his mouth. Her hands flew from his shoulders and into his hair to pull him closer against her and her hips rocked awkwardly against his lap, trying to simulate the rhythm he had taught to her that night.
The boy moaned at the jolt of pleasure that seared through his aching erection and he gripped her firmly by the waist and yanked her closer against him as he pressed his back against the couch. He really shouldn't be so rough with her but the week long respite had been extremely hard on him. Pardon the pun.
It had been amazing that night and it was honestly the best experience he had ever shared. He had satiated a deep hunger and, like a starving man, bit into the most delicious fruit he had ever tasted, but he had only had one bite and he was famished for more.
Naruto ground his hips into hers, the friction of their clothes rubbing against his hard-on, sending delicious shivers through his spine. He planted his feet firmly on the ground and lifted his hips off the couch slighty to rub himself raw against her. He whimpered loudly, clamping his eyes shut and biting hard on his lower lip when his cock began to burn from the chafing of rough material that was starting to get damp.
He loved this!
He loved to grind his cock against girls, humping them and simulating sex with his clothes on. It was one of his favourite things to do at clubs. He didn't know why he enjoyed such a dirty and pathetic little fetish when he could just as easily have the real thing but for some reason this was just so damned good. He moaned and tossed his head against the back of the couch when his member quivered and jerked wildly.
Like his inner pervert kept telling him; he was a sick, sick boy.
It wouldn't be fair to Hinata if he got off on this and she didn't, so he reluctantly pushed her away and noticed that she appeared disappointed at the loss.
Did she enjoy that as much as he did? He really hoped so because he'd really love to hump her ass sometime. His cock flinched in excitement at the tawdry suggestion but he admonished it. Whether Hinata was into it or not he really didn't want to introduce her to that dark side of him so soon...if at all.
He pulled her into another passionate kiss and hooked his fingers into her long, dark hair. She returned the kiss with fervor and surprised him by shyly sucking on his tongue as it slipped into her mouth.
If she didn't stop that right now he was going to shove something between her other lips as well.
Stifling a deep moan, he broke away from her and held her safely at arm's length but looking into her impassioned face didn't help to quell his raging libido.
Like a moth to a flame, she was drawn to his kisses and was, even now, attempting to press her lips against his but his shaky hands on her upper arms still held enough strength to keep her at bay but they wouldn't be able to resist her for long.
"Hinata-chan wait!" he rasped. "It's going too fast."
She was so cute in her innocence. All she knew was that her body yearned for him to do those wondrous things he did that night and the only way she knew how to ask for it without saying so was moving her body against his the way she knew he liked it.
But Naruto was inexperienced too. He'd never had a virgin before and all the girls in his past relationships had had at least two lovers before him, so he didn't know if she could handle it again so soon. He did know that it hurt the first time but what about the second time?
Naruto cursed his ignorance. If anyone had told him that one of these days he'd fall in love with a virgin he'd have laughed in their face. He had always made an extended effort to avoid them like the plague but fate had a funny way of tossing things in your path that you had no choice but to go through.
Hinata stopped moving and Naruto sighed with relief but when he heard the sharp rap at the front door he groaned in exasperation.
Had those two returned already?
It had been roughly and hour and a half since Sasuke dragged away an unwilling Neji and it seemed unlikely that the meeting would have been concluded so soon, unless the Uchiha had forgotten something important.
Naruto sighed again and stood while lifting Hinata to her feet. It wouldn't do to have them barge into a scene like this, but something suddenly clicked in Naruto when he heard two more knocks at the door.
Sasuke had his own key and he assumed Neji had a copy as well, so they had no reason to knock.
Shit! It was probably someone else.
He turned to the girl who had her eyes affixed to the door as well. He gripped her firmly on her shoulders and lowered his head until they were almost eye level. "Hinata, go and wait in my room and lock the door, and don't come out until I tell you to, and whatever you do, try not to make any sound at all." She slowly nodded her head and he could tell that she was a little panicked, he couldn't blame her, he was unnerved himself.
She padded quietly down the corridor just as Naruto called out to the anonymous visitor that he'd be there in a minute and he waited until he heard the bedroom door close before he opened up to greet the person on the other side.
He had been expecting to see Shikamaru or even Shino, since Sasuke had told him they were the only other dormers allowed in his apartment but he was very surprised (and a little delighted) to see Kurenai-sensei standing in the hallway, breathing heavily with a thin film of perspiration on her brow. Had she been running all the way over here?
"Umm...Kurenai-sensei, what are you doing here?"
"Naruto-kun, please let me in."
He was taken-aback by her straight-forwardness and the frown on her face told him that this probably wasn't a social call. "Umm, sure," he mumbled and stepped back to allow the woman into the living-room. As he closed and locked up he noticed her meticulously scanning the room as if she were looking for something or trying to find a clue that may have been carelessly hiding in plain view.
She turned to face the boy and he took a cautious step backwards at the stern expression on her face.
"Uh...c-can I help, Kurenai-sensei?" stammered the blond.
"I need to speak urgently with Uchiha-sama."
So, she had been looking for Sasuke, but that knowledge didn't put the boy at any kind of ease. He opened his mouth to reply but his voice caught so he cleared his throat before making a second attempt. "He's not here right now, Kurenai-sensei."
Her frown became deeper. "Do you know where he is?"
He wasn't sure if he should tell her but everyone already knew he ran a company so it's not like he had to lie to her or anything, but even if he wanted to he could never bring himself to tell her an untruth. "He- he had a very important meeting that he had to go to and that's all I know."
Her shoulders drooped and she appeared very disgruntled. He didn't know why she needed to see him urgently...unless...she was mad that he had skipped classes today...
Naruto shook his head. That didn't make sense. Sasuke was not one of Kurenai-sensei's students and even if she were here on the behalf of a teacher who suspected he was playing truancy then his excuse about Sasuke's business meeting should have been good enough to cover for the boy. But it wouldn't cover for Neji, who he assumed the teachers should also be concerning themselves with but Kurenai appeared to be focused on the Uchiha only.
"How soon will he be back?"
"Umm," he tried to remember what Sasuke had told him. "He said he should be gone in about four hours."
The elegant teacher stiffened and made an agitated noise by clicking her tongue against the back of her teeth. She appeared deep in thought and raised both hands to rub delicate fingers against her temples and that was when Naruto noticed the long, cloak-like fabric hanging in the crook of one arm.
"Uhh, Kurenai-sensei, Sasuke should be back in about three hours so I'm sure you can come back th-"
"No!" she said firmly and her head snapped up to meet his startled blue eyes. He'd seen her serious before but not this serious. "By then it will be too late."
His heart skipped a beat. "T-Too late?" he echoed. "What will be too late, Kurenai-sensei?"
The professor took a deep breath with her lips pursed in a thin line, causing the air to whistle through her nose. "Naruto-kun I need you to listen carefully to me and be very honest when you give me your answer."
He swallowed and his body was starting to feel a little cold and when he nodded her head she opened her mouth to ask the question he was dreading the most.
"Is Uchiha Sasuke allowing a girl into this dormitory?"
Naruto had expected that she would have asked a question like that and he should have been prepared for it and as much as he tried to pretend to be ignorant his body language revealed to the astute teacher that he did, indeed, know something about it. "A-a girl?" he asked stupidly.
Kurenai's eyes narrowed and he knew that she suspected he was trying to play dumb but she didn't immediately confront him about it, instead she appeared to give him the benefit of the doubt.
"Yes! Some of the students are gossiping about Master Uchiha sneaking a girl in and out of his dormitory and this eventually got back to Mizuki-san."
Oh shit! Naruto remembered that guy and even as she said his name Naruto shuddered at the memory of him yelling, screaming and calling his best friend names. He knew that guy would have jumped at the opportunity to get Sasuke in trouble.
Kurenai watched his face carefully when she told him the news and when he just stared back at her she attempted to shake him up to the seriousness of the entire situation. "As soon as Mizuki heard about it he wanted to come here and search the apartment for himself but teachers are not allowed to enter a student's dorm without consent of the student, but he and Master Uchiha..." she paused to think of an appropriate metaphor. "Have a very bad history together and he knew that Uchiha Sasuke would never let him set foot inside his dorm so Mizuki went to Kakashi-sempai."
Naruto gulped. This was getting worse by the second. "Ka-Kakashi-sensei?"
Kurenai nodded once before continuing. "I'm sure you don't know this but Kakashi-sensei is the Deputy Head of this school," and when she saw the disbelief evident on his face she chuckled inwardly. Kakashi never did look the role of the second-in-command and he never liked to be addressed as such either. The only reason he even held such a position was because Yondaime had appointed him but before that there had never even been a Deputy Head Principal of the school.
He, Yondaime and Sarutobi had been very close and Kakashi had been teaching for a very long time and had seniority over most of the other faculty members. Yondaime held a great respect for the man and Kakashi felt the same and a few believed he got the position because he and Sarutobi's son were close. But that couldn't be farther from the truth.
Kurenai had the pleasure and the honour of getting to know a great teacher like Kakashi-sempai and even though she had never believed the gossip for one minute she was glad to see that it hadn't dissuaded the nonchalant man at all.
Naruto shifted uncomfortably from one foot to the next and she knew she had put him on the spot. Her quarrel was with the Uchiha, not his friend, but if Naruto knew anything about what was going on then he would be held just as responsible as the other boy and Kurenai didn't think it would be fair for him to be punished as well.
"What Mizuki-san doesn't know is that Kakashi is quite fond of young Master Uchiha, and although he knows that this is a serious offense he managed to convince Mizuki that he didn't have the authority to grant him permission to search his room. Even as we speak, Kakashi-sempai and Mizuki-san are seeking permission from Sarutobi-sama but while Kakashi is stalling he sent me to investigate and warn Master Uchiha." Her countenance became very stern and she clasped her hands in front of her chest.
"Naruto-kun, we don't have much time left. If you know anything about this at all please let me know because if this turns out to be true then Master Uchiha will be expelled from the school and they will remove you from the exchange programme and send you back."
Naruto's heart sank and he suddenly felt empty. He didn't care so much if he was deported for this but he'd never be able to forgive himself if his friend got expelled for something that was all his fault. Kurenai-sensei saw the anguished look on his face and quickly revealed the second part of her mission.
"Naruto-kun, trust me when I say that the only reason I am here is to give you and Uchiha Sasuke fair warning. Neither Kakashi-sempai or I want to see anything bad happen to you two so we are willing to over look this if you promise not to do it again, but if you know the name of the girl or can at least tell me what she looks like then I can locate her and warn her before someone else confronts her."
Whoever had been spreading that rumour really got the story botched but the disturbing thing was that someone had managed to find out in the first place. He wondered if it was somehow because of Shikamaru but he had said he wasn't the kind of person that spread gossip and as long as Sasuke sneaking in a girl didn't bother him then he'd have no reason to complain.
He didn't want to believe it was Shikamaru but a part of him knew that the lazy punk wasn't responsible.
There was no time to try and figure out who the suspect was because, for all he knew, Kakashi, Mizuki and Sarutobi could be on their way over here right now. Neji was going to kill him for this but he didn't have a choice.
Kurenai watched as the boy stepped away from the door and disappeared down the hall. She heard him knock on a door and inform the person inside that it was him and she wondered for a second if he had lied and Sasuke was really here all along, the two talked for a bit and when he reappeared in the living room with a frightened young woman clutching at his arm she gasped and stared at the girl who avoided her gaze by looking at the floor.
"So...the rumors are true," she whispered.
Naruto looked into her face and nodded sadly. His teacher looked incredibly disappointed, as if she had been betrayed by a very close friend.
She would have berated the two right there and then but not only did she not have the time to do so but she and Kakashi agreed that they wouldn't chastize the boys who were probably doing things boys their age do.
"Young lady, do you have any idea how much trouble you're in?" The young girl whimpered at the woman's harsh voice and huddled closer against Naruto.
"Please don't be mad at her Kurenai-sensei, she's not a student here and it wasn't her fault."
The teacher's crimson eyes flashed from the cowering girl to the guilt-stricken boy. "Then who is she, Naruto-kun?"
He rubbed the back of his head awkwardly. "She's Hinata Hy- Yamanaka," he managed to correct himself in time. "Hinata's the person that the comb had belonged to and when I returned it I found out that she was...a homeless orphan and I begged Sasuke to let her stay here. It wasn't Sasuke's fault either, it was my idea and I take full responsibility for it."
The older woman was touched by his brave confession and her ire immediately melted. The boy had a big heart and while she couldn't say outright that she approved of the way he handled the situation a part of her was still proud of what he did in his kindness.
"Naruto-kun, I'm going to ask you to leave her with me."
Hinata clutched him tighter and he looked down at her and sent her broad smile while giving her hand a soft squeeze. He didn't want to be separated again either but he didn't have any other choice. "Hinata-chan, it's okay. Please go with Kurenai-sensei, I promise she'll take good care of you." She still didn't let him go after that and he ended up having to pry her fingers free. It was one of the most painful things he had to do in his entire life.
Kurenai-sensei watched as the young girl looked up with tears in her eyes into the face of the boy who was gazing at her lovingly and something suddenly dawned on her. "This is that special someone, isn't it Naruto-kun?" The boy nodded and escorted Hinata into Kurenai's outstretched hand.
His head suddenly snapped up and he held up both index fingers. "Just hold on a second," he said and dashed down the corridor and into his bedroom once again. He was gone for just a few seconds before he returned just as quickly with a beautifully wrapped rectangular box. He tore the colourful wrappings to shreds and clumsily removed the lid to reveal that lovely necklace Kurenai had seen him with that day in the store.
"I forgot to give this to you," he muttered apologetically as he picked it up carefully from its cotton bedding and let the worthless container fall unnoticed to the floor. The girl's pale eyes widened at the valuable item and she looked up at him with consternation, not really believing that he had got that just for her. He fumbled with the clasp and wrapped his hands around her neck to affix it to the pale column, Kurenai lifted the girl's hair to make his task easier and once it was secured he brought his hands up to cup her face and pressed their foreheads together.
"Hinata, I know you're scared but I want you to be brave for me," he brushed away the tears that started to trickle down her face and rubbed his nose against hers. "Don't cry Hinata-chan, it's not like this is good-bye forever and even though we'll be apart, as long as you wear that necklace I want you to think about me, that way I'll always be with you even if you think you're all alone."
She choked on a loud sob and and attempted to say something but the words broke off when her voice cracked. There was a comforting arm on her shoulder and she looked into the compassionate face of a beautiful woman.
"Hinata, please don't resent me for what I am doing but I'll explain everything to you on the way home. It's not my intention to keep you and Naruto-kun apart and I promise you can call him as often as you like and Naruto-kun can visit as often as he likes."
The young female nodded and her cries became soft hiccups. Professor Kurenai wrapped the large coat around the girl's tiny frame and led her towards the front door. Naruto unlocked it and watched with a heavy heart as they started to depart down the hallway but the shorter woman stopped suddenly then sprinted back towards the boy. She stopped in front of him and stood on her tiptoes while placing her hands on his chest for support, and the much taller boy had to tilt his head so she could give him a quick farewell kiss on the cheek.
She slowly pulled away from him and flashed him a brave smile and waved one small hand even as she walked backwards to Kurenai's side.
"Naruto-kun," the older woman spoke as she took the girl's hand in hers. "I'll give you my home number and address when I see you in class tomorrow."
"Thanks, Kurenai-sensei and...I'm really sorry about all of this."
She beamed at him. "Naruto it's alright, I understand. You were only doing what you felt in your heart was right."
The boy smiled at this and waved again to the little girl and didn't stop waving until she completely left his sight. He sighed deeply and stood in the doorway for a pregnant moment as he played back the scenes of the event that just took place. There was no way Neji was going to like this.
Naruto closed the door and started to clean up, removing any and all traces that might tip of a suspicious eye of there ever being a girl in the apartment. He tried to contact the Uchiha on his cellphone but when he got no answer he assumed his friend had it turned off during the meeting. There was a loud and aggressive knock at the door just as Naruto put the receiver back in its place.
They were here already.
Naruto took a deep, steadying breath and alerted the men on the outside that he was on his way.
'Sasuke,' he prayed. 'Please get back soon.'
