That Familiar Feeling of Longing

(A/N: To Golock: *HUGE BLUSH* OH GOSH! I can't believe you said that!!!! Oh, trust me, I'm definitely far away from being the next J.K Rowling, lol! I'd definitely see writing stories (smutty, but good-tasted) stories, lol! Oh, my gosh...*blush*......Thanks everyone for the reviews!!!!!)

"REALLY! The nerve of that guy!"

Temari and Sakura watched as Hinata angrily pulled apart her chopsticks before eating the big bowl of ramen. Both girls had to admit, Hinata had definitely changed. She thanked her friends for the food they were eating that night in the small, quaint resturante. Temari smiled a little bit.

"You know, Hinata-Chan, maybe you were a little hard on him. He IS the father of your child and still, technically, your husband."

"I know..." Hinata sighed.

"Why don't you just talk to him? I remember when I was Rokudaime for a short time. Naruto came to me and challenged me for the title of Hokage..."

Sakura stirred her straw in her lemonade as if in deep thought.

"Man, talk about determined, but he must have had his reasons. Whatever the case to be, he definitely earned the right to be Hokage. So, here we are. What confuses me, though, is that as busy as he was, he always seemed to disappear every single day. For a minute, I thought he was cheating on you, Hinata-Chan." Sakura smiled.

Temari missed getting sprayed in the face by the stream of tea coming from Hinata's mouth.

"OI! Sakura!" Temari glared.

Hinata abashedly wiped her mouth with her sleeve with a small sigh.

"He...he wasn't, was he?"

Sakura shook her head, waving her hand in the gesture not to worry.

"Gomen ne, Hinata-Chan. But, it turns out, he wasn't. I was always busy with my patients, so I never really took a chance to examine it closely enough. Sasuke-Kun knew something, that's for sure, since he's always around Naruto-Kun. I'd be willing to bet Sasuke-Kun becomes Hachidaime, then again, he wants to just live peacefully, I suppose. Oh, but Naruto-Kun is definitely on top of things!" Sakura smiled.

Hinata sighed a little, looking down into her half-empty bowl of ramen. Temari, who was in the process of eating a sweet-bean-bun, looked at Hinata.

"Just go talk to him. I'm pretty sure you two both have a lot to discuss."

"How are we going to be able to be together...?" Hinata barely whispered.

Sakura and Temari's eyes were wide with shock when they saw tears slowly begin to cascade down the Yukikage's face.

"How...how can we possibly be together...? He's a Hokage and I'm a Yukikage...It just...can...can't work..."

She tried wiping her tears away with the back of her hand, but to no avail. Sakura and Temari both looked at one another before looking at Hinata.

"Just go and talk to him..."

Hinata huffed a little, though she had stopped crying.

"If he wants to see me, he should come see me himself."

"Uh...Hinata-Chan...?" Temari said, her eyes staring behind Hinata.

"Mistress Yukikage?"

Hinata turned around only to see a messenger. She sighed and both Sakura and Temari knew she was irritated.

"Let me guess...my husband wants to talk?"

The messenger nodded and said,

"I'm supposed to escort you to the Hokage's office."

Hinata stood up with a sigh. Now she was just angry.

"It figures he wouldn't come and talk to me himself."

"Will you be okay, Hinata-Chan?"

She nodded and half-smiled a little.

"I suppose. I'll see you girls later."

Sakura nodded and let Hinata know that Hikaru would be staying with herself and Sasuke. Hinata thanked them and left with the ANBU messenger. As they walked in the night together, she sighed somewhat.

"Tell me, did he say what he wanted to talk to me about?"

The messenger sighed and shrugged.

"Yukikage-Sama, I'm sorry, but I can't say I do know. Don't worry, Uzamaki-Sama said it was pretty important, though."

Hinata didn't tell him his smile did nothing to calm her down. With a small sigh, they continued to walk in silence until reaching the office. Hinata looked at the messenger, thanking him before heading up the stairs. The entire office was dark, save for a small light coming from down the hallway. Hinata walked until she came to the Hokage's office door. With a sigh, she knocked, entering when he permitted her to. She opened the door, standing there for a second, seeing Naruto put some paperwork in it's respected folder. He looked up at her with a grin.

"Hinata-Chan, there you are."

She closed the door behind her and bowed a little. Her heart was racing a million miles per hour...When did he get so handsome?

"You...you wanted to see me...?"

"Come over here, Hinata-Chan."

Against her better judgement, she walked over to his desk, noticing there were some framed pictures, just like on her own. She smiled when she saw most of them were of their son and her when they'd just started out as an 'official' couple. Her eyes locked on the picture in the center...This was of Hikaru, however, it was taken recently...And in Yukigakure. Hinata picked up the picture and looked at it. Sure enough, in her hands was proof that either Naruto had sent someone to take the picture, or...

"Where did you get this?" she asked, her hand starting to shake.

He sighed, standing up. Hinata could hear his bones pop slightly. He walked around the desk, standing directly behind her. He took the picture out of her hand and smiled.

"I...actually came to Yukigure a while back. Which reminds me,"

He lowered his voice, whispering into her ear,

"How did you like those flowers Hikaru-Chan gave you?"

The feeling that consumed her body, if only for a moment, sent chills running down her spine. His breath was warm against her ear and she tried ignoring the feeling pooling in her stomach. Turning around, her blue eyes met with his own.

"Are you stalking your own son?!"

He grabbed her wrist and for a second, she thought he might attack her. It was quite the contrary when he raised the back of her hand to his lips and kissed her knuckles. He narrowed his eyes and sighed a bit.

"I have no reason to stalk my own wife or son. I was just giving you little clues...to know I was watching over both of you."

"N...Naruto-Kun..." Hinata blushed.

Setting the picture down, he began undoing his red and white cloak, leaving him in only the white undershirt and his red pants. He wrapped it around her shoulders and smiled.

"I know you're used to living in the cold, but that doesn't mean you should dress so lightly here. It DOES still get cold here at night." he smiled.

Hinata blushed, clenching the cloak around her shoulders. She inhaled deeply...it was almost like being wrapped up in a blanket of him. The thought of being held by him again...He'd definitely grown stronger physically, but there were still some things unsaid by him as well. She could see it in his eyes...Looking down at her feet with a blush, she sighed.

"Naruto-Kun...I..."

She bit her lip, refusing to cry.

"Why did you just leave us like that?! We needed you SO much!"

Naruto had expected that question, surprised she hadn't asked it sooner. He walked over to the window near the right wall and inhaled deeply. It smelled like summer; sweet, mysterious and yet, just like him, summer nights often had things to hide.

"It's not like I didn't suffer as well. I just...realized that with you and Hikaru around, I couldn't protect you both."

"What?! Why not?!" she turned, looking at him.

"Your father. It's been three years and nobody has heard a word from him. Not since he left Chikyugakure. I kept trying to figure out what was it that he was looking for? What does he want with both Byakko AND Kyuubi if not revenge against someone?"

He looked at his young wife. God, how beautiful she was. He'd definitely heard his share of how wonderful a Yukikage was and how amazing her powers had grown. More people wanted to live in Yukikage and would be willing to brave the cold, if only to see Hinata. He was confident that no one even held a grudge against her, save for her father. He walked over to her, putting his hands on her shoulders. Hinata looked up at him, realizing he still towered over her by a few good inches.

"I became Hokage to find this out myself and here's what I learned: Byakko and Kyuubi were lovers."

Hinata blushed, looking down at her feet. She recognized the familiar feeling in her heart, yet she kept telling herself there was no way...

"Byakko and Kyuubi 'had' a son. Gobi No Houkou, the five-tailed-dog demon. If Byakko represented the aspect of the Moon and Kyuubi the Sun, Gobi was indeed the medium, protecting Earth. Yet someone angered Gobi a long time ago and Earth was forced to feel the wrath of his vengeful parents."

Hinata knew this part of the story, but interjected nonetheless.

"E...eventually, Gobi was sealed away, right? Into the Earth by a talisman so strong, it was said to be destroyed and it's pieces hidden among the earth..."

Hinata's eyes widened and she quickly grabbed Naruto's shirt out of panic.

"You...you don't think my father is trying to revive Gobi, do you?!"

So, she'd figured it out. Naruto sighed, keeping his hands firmly on her shoulders.

"But, he can't do it with Byakko and Kyuubi summoned at the same time AND during the time when all of the planets align as one. Nevermind the fact it would take an entire lifetime to find the pieces of the talisman, but it was broken into four pieces, if I understand."

Hinata understood very well. Each major village had one. Hell, even Yukigakure had one, however, that was hidden and beneath her protection. She'd discovered it when she went to pray at the temple of Byakko her first time. Her piece was shaped like a golden cat's eye and could fit right in the palm of her hand. She was certain both Gaara, Naruto and Temari possessed the other pieces, keeping them well-hidden.

"So...where is yours?"

Naruto was a little surprised at the question, knowing, that even though they held the same position in society, only those Kages who possessed Gobi's Talisman never revealed it's secret to any of the other Kage's. He shook his head, a smile gracing his lips.

"That's for me to know and you to find out."

Hinata pouted and he commented on how cute she was. She blushed and told him now was not the time for jokes. So, he leveled with her.

"I believe that your father intends to use Gobi for SOMETHING, though I'm not quite sure what. At anyrate, he's on a fool's journey. There's no way he'll find the pieces of Gobi's Talisman AND be able to locate Byakko. I am one-hundred-percent sure he doesn't know that YOU, Hinata...are in some sense, Byakko herself. As long as he doesn't know this, he'll keep scouring the globe and I don't know of any alternative situations to raise Gobi, so, for the time being..."

He smiled and kissed her forehead. Hinata felt her heart just leap into her throat.

"...You're safe. Both you and Hikaru-Chan. I'm sorry I lied to you, but...I didn't want to take any chances. If something had happened to you and Hikaru..."

He blushed when she wrapped her arms around him, hugging him tightly. All the things she wanted to say came out in the form of tears and small whimpers. What was wrong with her? Had love played her for such a fool?

"I'm sorry, Naruto-Kun! Please, forgive me for saying you haven't been a father to Hikaru! I'm sorry! I was just so lonesome without you, Naruto-Kun...!"

Hesitantly he raised his arms to wrap around her lower waist. He released a deep breath and hugged her so quickly and tightly, it felt as if he were trying to make two separate beings into one.

"Hinata...! Hinata!" he whispered.

"What will we be able to do...? I can't give up my position in Yukigure!"

He froze as if the thought hadn't crossed his mind. Had he just expected her to come back and abandoned all she worked so hard for and to build and even rebuild in a sense?

"And...I can't give up mine, either."

"What are we going to do?" Hinata said, looking up at him on the brink of tears.

Naruto sighed, wishing he could tell her. Wishing he could tell her everything was going to be alright. He didn't want to be away from her any longer and while he was glad to make the trips up to Yukigure, he didn't want to chance anything happening. He felt his body start to get warm, what with her own delicate one pressed against him.

"Just forget." he whispered.

"Wh...what? What?" Unsure of what she'd heard, she parroted when she didn't mean to.

His grip on her became tighter as he looked at her soft blue eyes. He just wanted to make her forget everything...To return to a time where it was just them and their friends. To happier days...

"I said just forget everything...if only for a moment. Forget your a mother, forget I'm Hokage...forget about everything and just..."

Hinata clenched his shirt in her hands as she slowly closed her eyes. Against her lips, she felt his breath warm against them as he whispered,

"...Remember me."

She lost herself in the soft kiss. How long had it been since she'd kissed a man? She knew it wouldn't stop with a kiss, she just knew it. Yet, she couldn't stop herself from falling under the spell of his touch. Soon, his lips left her mouth in favor of the side of her neck. She blushed, whimpering a little bit. God, he could still awaken that fire she began to feel pooling between her legs. Just with a kiss or two, nonetheless. He removed his cloak he'd placed around her shoulders and threw it over the desk. Hinata's body had matured beautifully, more so than before. Her breasts which peeked out of her mini-kimono were full and round, both beautifully and perfectly shaped. He eyed the pendent, feeling a soft power coming from it, but ignored that in favor of busying his hands with the silk sash around her waist, keeping her kimono closed. Her eyes widened and she grabbed his hands, stopping him.

"C...chotto matte, Naruto-Kun...!"

"What is it?"

Wait? She wanted to him to WAIT? After not having her body pressed against his for damn near three going on four years...he wanted her to wait. She blushed, clenching the top of her kimono shut.

"Maybe...maybe we should...find somewhere else to do this. Someone could just walk in and..."

"So what?"

He reached up, pulling her kimono off of her sleeves, watching as she turned red and tried to cover herself up. He blushed as well, his eyes a bit wide. She was by far...the cutest thing he'd ever seen. She looked at him with pleading eyes, saying, begging him not to take her right here in the office...Yet, he still remembered something about his blushing bride...Reaching up with one hand, he yanked the front of her kimono downwards, causing it to open slightly, revealing her breasts more fully this time. He ignored a startled squeak from Hinata, taking his other hand and untying the sash around her waist in one, smooth motion. Her kimono would have opened all the way had his body not been pressed to hers. He grabbed her breasts, enjoying as the pink nipples began to turn to hardened nubs. He couldn't resist running his tongue over them either.

"Ah...! Naruto-Kun...! Please, I...!"

All coherent thought? Gone right out of the damn window. She clenched her eyes shut, focusing on his tongue tracing circles around her breasts, all the while switching between gentle bites and hard sucks. Had he remembered? Had he remembered her weak point? When the tables were turned when she found herself backed up to his desk, before sitting on it, reality filtered into her mind and took over for a moment.

"W...wait! What about the photos and paperwork...!?" she panicked.

With one arm, he pushed it all backwards into the large chair behind the desk. She blushed when he backed away a little, looking at his amazingly sexy wife. Her kimono hadn't opened all the way, while her breasts were out, he realized he could see her cute, little white panties with ties on the side of them. He could easily see the stain forming in between her legs and speaking of, let his gaze roam down her curvy thighs, where the black laces of her strappy sandals began. How many men had wished to have her for their own? Hinata Hyuuga exemplified two things: Innocence and natural sexual essence and what with her sitting on his desk the way she was, trying so hard to fight of his adavances...Naruto knew he was going to have a hard time controlling himself tonight.
