--merry x-mas! = parts of a poem so remember when you see a -- in front of a sentence or a couple of words, that will be the poem!

Present 5. Fly High Winter Sky


--Oh so dark winter night

--Will you guide me up to the sky?

Naruto was walking down the empty streets of Konoha on Christmas night, he had no where to go since his house was just burned and he had no one to celebrate Christmas with, he was alone. When he passed the playground he usually goes to everyday, he smiled before he stopped and looked at the empty place. It was dark but the lights from the Christmas decoration really helped him to see where everything was. Naruto then ran to his favorite swing and started kicking his legs. Since no one ever pushed him on the swing like the other kids, he learned how to swing all by himself.

The little blonde smiled as he swayed endlessly on the slightly frozen swing. He could feel the cold wind blowing on his face, he can see his shadow shrinking and growing as he swung. Naruto started laughing and singing softly as he kicks the ground so that he can go higher.

--So I can fly high

--Higher than a bird, higher than anyone

Naruto realized that he was going slower since his legs got too cold, he can feel the gravity of the earth come closer and closer. But Naruto didn't want to stop swinging, not until he goes the highest than anyone.

--Oh please winds, guide me up

--Up high into the blue sky

Just as Naruto's feet glided an inch over the sand, he felt something push him and the little boy found himself going up again. When Naruto swung back, he was pushed again. The boy smiled as he felt soft warm hands push him. Naruto looked up at the clear sky that holds the stars.

--So everyone can see me fly

--So everyone will know that I really exist

The person then pushed Naruto really hard, making the little boy swing over the iced pole. Naruto felt his whole world slow down as he felt the winds blow him off the seat. His eyes widened as he looked down to see the playground. Just as the boy caught his breath, he started to feel the gravity pulling him to the ground once more. Naruto closed his eyes and prepared to fall to the ground.

--Protect me from the storm

--So it won't blow me away

When Naruto opened his eyes, he found that he was still off the ground and that he landed on something soft. He looked up to see onyx eyes looking back at him. The lights from the houses, shined on the boy's pale skiing, making a colorful glow. Naruto's eyes widened as the stranger leaned in.

--Lift me up with your soft winds

--And guide me through the iced clouds

Before Naruto knew it, the stranger’s lips were on his. This felt weird for Naruto but he didn't know what to do, no one has ever done this to him before. So Naruto decided that he was cold and he wanted to leave. But before the blonde could do anything, the man pulled away.

Naruto looked at the man with a confused face. "Wha-?"

"Would you like to go into somewhere warmer?" asked the man.

Naruto paused before he nodded and before he knew it, he was in the air again.

--Look, look everyone

--I'm flying the highest than anyone has done before

Naruto gripped the man's shirt as he looked down at the houses they were passing by. Itachi tighten his grip on the boy before he started jumping faster. Naruto slowly got use to the speed and height, so he loosened his grip on the fabric and started cheering. He never thought he would go this high!

He looked up at the blurry sky, the stars looked like they were flying with him. Naruto smiled as he reached up to attempt to grab a star. He quickly closed his hand and looked at what he captured. It was only a tiny leaf and nothing more. Naruto let goof the leaf and let it fly. It may not be a star now, but someday he will get a star.

--I'm soaring to the bright stars

--I'll even try to take a star and give it to you all

Naruto frowned as him and the man started going down to the streets. They were still going fast but Naruto wanted to feel the wind in his hair and the clear view of the stars. A few minuets later they both completely stopped and ended up in front of an apartment building. Naruto slipped out of the man's arms and landed on his back in the snow, he played the pain off by moving his arms and legs around to make a snow angle. The boy started laughing and panting as the cold hits him hard like a bag of bricks.

The man picked up the now shivering Naruto and took him inside of the building.

--So please look at me and tell me that I'm real

--For you all have seen my wings

After talking to the landlady, the two boys walked up the stairs until they stopped on the top floor.

Naruto was put down by a big heater. Just then, a warm blanket was put around his shoulders and the man handed him a cup of cocoa. Naruto looked up and smiled at the stranger before he asked. “Thank you, but who are you?"

The man kneeled down to Naruto's level and held the boy's face. "My name is Itachi," he whispered.

"Hi tacky, I'm Naruto!" Naruto smiled as he leaned into Itachi's hand.

"...It's I-ta-chi,"

"I-ta-chi...?" Naruto tilted his head. "Are you an...um...animal?"

Itachi just petted Naruto’s damped hair and took a sip of his hot chocolate. Naruto took a sip of his chocolate.

Naruto found himself looking at Itachi while sipping his drink, "Um...I-ta-chi?"

"Yea?" Itachi said as he turned to the little boy.

"Why are you so nice to me?" Naruto asked as he put the cup down and crawled to Itachi's side.

"No one deserves to be alone on Christmas," he said as he beckoned Naruto to his lap.

--I'm an angle not a monster

--So treat me like an equal

Naruto smiled and with out hesitation he jumped on the older boy's lap. When he looked up at Itachi, his face frowned one more, "Dose it count if you're a monster?"

Itachi petted Naruto’s head and nodded, "No one, deserves to be alone on Christmas, not even monsters, why do you ask?"

Naruto eyes started to water as he looked down, "Because everyone says I'm monster and no one ever plays with me,"

Itachi face softened as he tilts Naruto’s chin up. "You don't look like a monster to me," he said before he leaned down to capture the little boy's lips

Naruto eyes widened before he smiled and hugged Itachi. "Thank you!"

Itachi slightly smiled before he took the blanket that was wrapped around him and put around Naruto's shoulders. "Sleep," he said as he rubbed Naruto’s back smoothly.

Naruto nodded as he yawned and closed his eyes.

--And maybe this time

--You can see that I have wings not claws

The next day, Naruto woke up alone on a couch. He looked around to find no one in sight. "I-ta-chi? I-ta-chi?" he called as he looked around. Just then the door opened to reveal a women carrying a big box.

"Someone told me to give this to you for a house warming gift," she said as she set the present by the confused blonde.

"House warming? But I'm not cold," Naruto said as he looked at the lady.

"...No, house warming is when people greet someone that just moved in," she sighed as she walked out the door

Naruto eyes widened as he looked down at the gift, he then opened it to reveal a nightgown with a dog shape cap with boxes of food in the bottom. He smiled as he got up and explored his new home.

--Fly, fly up to the cold sky

--So you can show me your wings as well

The land lady smiled a the child as she leaned against the door, just then a puff of smoke appeared to reveal a smirking Itachi, "Hn, hope you take good care of your gift Naruto-kun," he said as he turned and walked away. "Because we will see each other again, some day."

--And you'll see that we're the same...

Kiharu-sama- nope! Itachi’s gave Naruto an apartment (That he's living in the series) and paid seven years of rent for him! But your review cracked me up! I wish I used that instead but you know…..the poem and all! But the funniest part of the story is that Itachi gave Naruto all of those nice things and he didn’t get any action!

Yaoiloverclause: That poem sucked! I made just made it while listing to some songs on my C.D and um...drinking something (Naruto :cough:eggnog:cough:). And I'm not sure if you call this chapter fluff...The way Naruto keeps on saying Itachi's name (Chibi Naruto- I-ta-chi?) he says Itachi's name like that because he copied what Itachi said when he was telling him his name! Oh and the thing about Naruto asking is Itachi is an animal is because Itachi means weasel....or mole rat....Hahahahaha! Rat! Hahahahaha!

Naruto:....what the fuck are you doing?

Yaoiloverclause: I think my sister put something in my eggnog!

Naruto:.......this will take a while, well on to the next present!
