Truth Be Told

“Do you think I’m weird?” Naruto asked
“No. Why would I?” Shikamaru replied.
“Because of what I did with Sasuke?”
“No, you said you love him right? So it’s understandable, that’s what people want to do when their in love, but….” He trailed off.

“What?” Naruto questioned
“I don’t really know if Sasuke’s truly in love with you. If he was why would he do that?”

Naruto sighed and starred down at the ground. He wanted a deep and true love to share with Sasuke. Naruto’s heart began to hurt again, just the mere thought of Sasuke made it ache. He sniffled and his eyes began to water. Shikamaru could see how much this hurt Naruto. He scooted over to him and put his arms around him. He pulled Naruto close to him and didn’t say a word. He knew just being there for Naruto was enough to soothe him. Naruto buried his face into Shikamaru’s chest.

Meanwhile, back at the Uchiha residence, Sasuke was having a discussion with his fuck hole Neji.
“Came crawling back for more eh?” Neji remarked.
“Shut the hell up, dick, I only use you as a distraction y’know.” Sasuke glared at him.

Why exactly did Neji agree to this set up so easily? Sasuke thought when he went to ask Neji he would have to pay him a lot more than he did, but somehow Neji happily offered his services with no hassle.

“So, what’s it this time? Another alley, school, or should we just screw right on his door step.” Neji scoffed and leaned forward in his chair.
“Actually your services are no longer required.”
“What? Why?”
“Because I’ve given up on that runt. He clearly hates me, so it worked.”

Neji lifted an eye brow “Are you sure?” He licked his lips seductively at Sasuke.
“Stop it.” Sasuke demanded
Neji leaned closer to Sasuke. He stood up slowly and walked behind him. He rubbed his hands over his shoulders and lowered his head to Sasuke’s neck. Sasuke just sat there like a lump. Neji dragged his tongue down Sasuke’s neck and over his ear lobe.

“Come on Sasuke, I know you want it. Just let me do it once and I’ll promise you’ll forget all about Naruto….” Neji whispered into Sasuke’s ear. But no effect, Sasuke just sat there.
“I told you before, I’m not into you. Get over it already.” Sasuke’s words were cold. Neji became frustrated with his insolence. He grabbed Sasuke by the throat and squeezed it hard. Sasuke grabbed his hand and tried to shake him off but Neji’s grip was too strong.

“Look you, I’m going to have you whether you tell me I can or not.” Neji threatened him and pushed him over in his chair. Sasuke fell to the ground hard and glared up at Neji. Neji walked toward the door. Sasuke stood up and brushed himself off. He walked toward Neji and slammed the door shut as he was opening it.
“You’re fucking pathetic.” He muttered and slammed Neji against the door.
“Don’t ever let me catch you doing anything to Naruto, or you’ll be sorry.”

Sasuke let go of Neji and kicked him out the door. Neji sneered and turned away.

Back at Naruto’s place, Naruto was still in Shikamaru’s arms. The sun was setting.

“I’ve gotta get going before it gets too late Naruto.” Shikamaru said
“Oh, okay.” Naruto answered as he wiped the tears from his eyes. “I’ll walk you out.”

The two stood up and walked toward the door. Naruto was wrapped up in a blanket. Shikamaru starred at him. He held his hand out to him. “Hey, Naruto.”

Naruto looked up “Yea?”
“Don’t worry so much.” Shikamaru held Naruto’s shoulder. “I’m sure everything will come together soon.”
“Thanks Shikamaru. You’ve really been a great friend.”

Shikamaru winced for a second. “Yea, well, I try.”
“I’ll see you tomorrow okay?” Naruto said
“Yea, sure”

Shikamaru moved closer to Naruto. He put his other hand on his other shoulder. Shikamaru starred at Naruto for a moment, and then leaned in and locked lips with him. Naruto’s eyes widened. He was frozen. Shikmaru stepped back and ran out the door before Naruto had a chance to say anything. Naruto couldn’t believe what just happened. It was a strange feeling, he’d never felt before. He closed the door and sat back on the couch with a bewildered look on his face. “Shikamaru….kissed me.”

That was Naruto’s second kiss, but it wasn’t anything like the first one he had with Sasuke. It felt just like a kiss, nothing more. When he kissed Sasuke, he felt every nerve in his body get weak and his heart raced. So, why didn’t it feel the same with Shikamaru? And why did Shikamaru kiss him in the first place. Was it possible Shikamaru was….in love with Naruto?
“In love with….me?” Naruto thought.
