A Foxes Love

“Well this is your Graduation day people” Iruka said in front of his class with all the band of the leaf on his desk picking one up and looking at the list in his right hand.

“Haruno, Sakura.” Sakura just smiled bouncing down the stairs to meet Iruka, bowing then taking her head band, bowing and returning to her seat.

“Hyuga, Hinata” Hinata walked timidly down bowed, took her head band, ad when back, and so it went on, from Sasuke to Kiba, all except Naruto.

Iruka watched with sad eyes as they all left, with happy faces, Naruto, the last one out, dragging his feet, the invisible Kyuubi In toe glaring at the others in front of him.

(“All because of one failed jutsu. Should have tort him, but he has to do it by himself.”) Naruto took his place on his swing all alone, Kyuubi heard whispers of demon, kill, and better off with out him. Kyuubi just glared at all of them eyes blazing.

“(Fools they fear what they do not understand, and seeks to get rid of it anyway they can (looking at the Hokage) only you, third, with your law, but even that can get him killed, when you do not look.” He turned to see Mizuki land up and glare up at him, and then turned back to Naruto with concern.
“His aura is one of, deceit and betrayal, to everyone except himself. Even demons have honour, yet this human has none…thinks it’s time to call in the family.”) With that he disappeared.


Kyuubi watched from the shadows of the trees, watching Naruto practise his techniques and smiled to himself, is hands behind his back, he didn’t turn when he felt the familiar aura behind him. It was low as an ant’s but he could sense it easily.

“Where you followed?” Kyuubi said, not having to turn towards the shadows to know who it was.

“No my lord….it’s hard to believe it’s been twelve years…brother.” Kyuubi turned to see a youthful woman with long silver hair came out. She wore a silver head band upon her brow, to keep her hair out of her blue eyes. Her skin was a very slight tan compare to the darker shade of her brother’s. She had a slim feminine figure that just oozed sexuality, she wore a one strap of cloth that hung from her right shoulder and covered and lifted her breasts at the same time, and her slim waist was exposed. The dress hanging from her waist was a pale silvery blue colour that was in a split design on the left side, this reached her knees, with the right side slightly longer than the other, and finally she wore no shoes, just going bare foot. She walked seductively over to her brother.

“Indeed it has Kyu-ni.” He turned back towards Naruto who was sitting in the clearing near a run down shack, scratching his head, in frustration; Kyu-ni just smiled rusting her left arm over her chest, while holding her elbow up to rest below her chin.

“So…is this human the reason you haven’t returned to us my lordly brother?” Kyuubi nodded.

“Yes…did you hear that they tried to seal me?” Kyu-ni just burst out laughing clutching her stomach.

“Yeah…no human can seal or kill us…they can seal weaker demons, but at the level we are at dear brother…” Kyuubi nodded still looking at Naruto with concern, and Kyu-ni stopped and looked from one to another.

“When I broke free, the leader, the Hokage, of this village… used his son as a medium to seal me…” Kyu-ni then turned her expression from shock to fury.

“How dare he…using his own kit *snarls*…humans are prideful fuckers…only caring about themselves” She stopped when she saw a stay tear run down her brother’s cheek and calmed hr expression.

“If I had not stayed by the child’s side, then he would be dead, such is the fate of a demon vessel.” Another stray tear dripped down his cheek. He caught it on a clawed hand and looked at it, with a sorrowful expression.
“He was attacked when he was only five…five years old…people hate and fear what they don’t understand, well the people who hurt him, die slowly and painfully. That when he saw me. He hugged me for dear life Kyu-ni. I told myself he deserves…” Kyu-ni put a hand on his shoulder.

“Better…I know I fell in love with a human once…now his family sees me as a sacred guardian, to call on in time of need…do that for his memory…yet I still have my own will, as do you, my one regret is no giving him the choice (Kyuubi looked at her then nodded in understanding). Are you intending to make him your heir? Mate even? He will have to go though the change if that is to be my Lordly Brother.” Kyu-ni smiled at him then they both looked at the clearing. Kyuubi’s eyes flashed with pure hatred and fury at what he saw.


“The law was. That the nine tailed fox is sealed inside you and that you should never find out. So you are the monster.” Kyuubi’s hair began to fly around him, and his sister took a step back eyes wide, she had never seen her brother this angry.

“What, it’s sealed in me…” Naruto fell to the ground in shock. Mizuki just walked over to him, Iruka tried to help but Mizuki just stepped back and hit the back of his head knocking him out.

“I have nothing against you Iruka; I am just going to kill the nine-tailed fox brat, now.” He said with a smile, pulling out a kunai from his pocket and threw it at Naruto “To easy” But it never hit its target it bounced off a barrier, immediately Mizuki drew another Kunai and Naruto looked up.

“That’ not ever nice Mizuki…” Then Kyuubi shimmered in front of Naruto, his arms folded against his chest, his tails and ears hidden. Mizuki looked back in shock.

“Just get out the way; I don’t have business with you.” Kyuubi raised an eyebrow his eyes glowing red.

“Oh…but I think you do.” He said softly, and gently, and with that he revealed his ears and tails, and Mizuki stepped back eyes wide with fear, but through all the weapons he had at Kyuubi, who just sighed inspecting his finger while humming, as Mizuki’s weapons bounced off his barrier with pinging sounds.

“It’s you.” Naruto remembered when he was nearly killed and this person now standing in front of him, had saved him, he hugged his waist, at which Kyuubi brought a tail round him lovingly while giving Mizuki a death glare, and bowing mockingly.

“Let me introduce myself, I am Kyuubi, Demon lord of foxes, and known as the nine tailed fox.” He smiled at Mizuki, who took a step back, while Naruto stared up at him, with surprise.

“But…but how? You’re not real.” With that Kyuubi unfurled his tail from Naruto and was done Mizuki looked all around fear in his eyes, then Kyuubi was in front of him and grabbed him my his tail holding him tight.

“Oh but I am real. The 4th jutsu worked but…no human can ever seal me, I broke free, and found Naruto next to his dying father….yes he is the 4th hokage’s son…is that a shock?” Mizuki just stared at Naruto

“Then why haven’t you killed us all you monster?” He spat in Kyuubi’s face and his face turned from one of amusement to one of annoyance.

“ Simple…I am not as heartless to leave a defenceless child to mercy of a hating people…I am the only one, who has stood by him, protected him…cared for him, loved him while all of you wished to kill him. I’ve been the only true family he has ever had.” Mizuki looked at him in fear.

“What are you going to do?” Kyuubi looked at Naruto who was looking at him with happy eyes, then turned back to Mizuki.

“I will…not kill you, that would place blame on Naruto…and that I will not have, instead, I will, beat you to an inch of your pathetic life, erase your memories, and leave you to be found.” His demon voice breaking through his normal voice. Looked to Naruto “Close your eyes Naruto…or watch if you want.”
Naruto just nodded then Kyuubi wrapped the rest of his tails around Mizuki slowly smothering him, and his screams of pain, then dropped him. To the ground.

“Is he ok?” Naruto said, Kyuubi nodded and walked to Iruka and waved his hand over him.

“I am only creating memories so that he will think you beat him up with the shadow replication jutsu you just learned right?” Naruto nodded at the gently smiling Kyuubi. He walked over to Naruto and knelt down. “Are you frightened of me?” Naruto shook his head.

“No I remember when you saved me all those years ago, without you I’d be dead…you aren’t as evil as they say, you cared and protected me.” Kyuubi smiled at him and brought him into a hug.

“You’ve never been given a give…so I’ll give you one.” Kyuubi picked up some stones held them in his hand there was silver light, when that faded, held his hand forwards/

Kyuubi opened his hand and inside was a silver locket with the sign of fox on it, and attached to it a silver chain, and tied it around Naruto’s neck.

“This is for you, Naruto.” Naruto just looked from the locket up at Kyuubi and flung his arms around his neck, tears streaming down his face, Kyuubi just rocked him gently

“No…one has ever, given me…anything before.” Then Kyuubi began to hum to him, and as Naruto fell asleep Kyuubi kissed the top of his head, and pause when he heard Naruto say.

“Thank, you Kyuubi…you’re the only one, who ever…” But before he could finish he fell asleep. Kyuubi smiled, kissing him on his head again, placing him at the base of a nearby tree and stood up, picking some stone holding in his fist, there was a silver light, then faded.
He opened his hand and there also sat a silver locket on a chain but instead of a fox sign it bore the sign a fox resting near a young boy, and he placed it around his neck, locking it in place.


Kyuubi walked off after making sure Naruto was sound asleep, and that Iruka would find him as well as that fucking bastard who dared to hurt him so.

Kyuubi walked a bit ways out of sight of Naruto his sister in toe a worried look on her face

“I know what you’re going through” she thought as she watched him. He dropped to the ground his right hand above his heart opened the locket around his neck and as it began to play it’s sad yet beautiful melody, the lord of the foxes began to cry he threw his head to the sky above tears still streaming down his face and let out a cry full of sorrow, anger and pain.

“ARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!” His voice echoed throughout the land then and as the demon lord cried the sky grew dark, and rain began to fall.

Meanwhile Naruto slept in his bed, silver locket by his bedside, started to play. It lay on its side and on the back in lovely handwriting there was engraved:

(My heart will always belong to you.)
