I do not own Naruto, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
4Page Letter
Author's Note: Written before the death of my computer and my inability to go on-line.
Hiddy Ho NarutoYaoi Neighbors how's it shaking. Thanks to Yaoicon I will be updating on time (six days on a train will do that to you), in addition nothing motivates like meeting some of you great writers there. I met the chick who writes Fox eat Dog and she was a gaser, she and her friend were blazin as Itachi and Kakashi (and Itachi was on a leash by the way), Kakashi and Sasuke, and the two dudes from the Go show (of course I got mad pictures with them in different sexy positions). I think that everyone should at least do one cross country train trip whereever you are from just for the experince. If you are traveling in the states however keep these important things in mind. Make sure to have a good battery for your notebook because the older cars do not have any individual outlets except in the lounge or the snack car. Unless you have a couple of bills to your name then I would suggest getting the roomettes which does not have any of those problems you can have a shower and breakfast lunch and dinner is included. When I saw the country from the ground I was in awe and learned to appreciate it's simple surfaaacebeauty and yet it's ability to be so muchmore complex underneath. Plus it has the benefits of allowing to meet your fellow passengers at a much slower and chiller pace then if you were to be on an airplane. Plus looking down on everyone from a plane will give you a superiority complex and I already have a really big head (it goes with the rest of me but oh well). There is nothing like going across country to see sexy men in dubious situations (or women dressed up as sexy men) to get the creative juices flowing (they even had a host club although it was wicked late the guys were really good looking) and as scantily clad as one could wish for especially that sexy raichu (because when you are that sexy looking there is no way to think that guy is the unevolved form). You can still put your vote in for the inattached people but if not while I was at the convention Ipicked up these really cute magnets from the fanart room and they even have cute little hearts in between them. If no one else has any suggestions I am going to throw them at the door and see who sticks together (obviously that must mean they were meant to be). I would also like to apolijize about the late update but my computer has died and I am now imposing my will on my mother so that I could get this and then hopefully another chapter out by this weekend. I don't have anything else to say except thanks to the people who read and rate this story.
With all my nervousness and insecurities you reviewers rock. Now on to the reviewers:
Snoopy I have to be honest and say I had a true "Sally Fields Moment", and was so pumped. I was so stoked saying "you like it , you really like it". I am reallyg lad because I was a little worried about the pace of the story and wondered if perhaps I was taking it to slowly. And never worry about your language skills because as you know my spelling is way way worse. Thanks for the hugs, ice cream ,and candy. I added the butterscotch and made sundaes, I had nice happy warm feelings all day. I hope you like this chapter as well and as soon as I finish this chapter I am going to check and see what updates of yours I missed.
Solitare1 Thank you for complimenting and commenting on the story and the songs. I am a little nervous about whether the songs match the chapter so you specifically mentioning that puts me at ease. Thanks for the confidence boost and hope you enjoy the chapter.
:) Thank you so much for the compliment. To know that someone just comes to the site just to check out my story is one of the greatest compliments that I can imagine. It also makes me a really really happy happy joy joy person. I hope this chapter lives up to your expectations.
Zaden Glad you like the story so far and come rain, shine, or broken fingernails, I shall continue to write this story to completetion (like post office people). Notice I didn't say sleet though because big balls of ice are totally diferent and another story all together (because they hurt). Hope you enjoy this chapter.
I am sorry I do not own the song 4Page Letter it is performed by another late great artist who passed to early Aaliyah. I picked up the name Orihime from YuGiOh, which I also don't own but wish I did because I would set-up Seto and Joey (yeah I still play and what).
Chapter 4: 4Page Letter
"Momma always told me to be careful who I love"
"And daddy always told me make sure he's right"
"I always had my eyes on this one particular guy"
"I was to shy so I decided to write"
"I'm sending him a four page letter and I enclosed it with a kiss"
"And when I write him better get it on time"
Pulling out the journal he had already noted as being the first one, Sasuke made himself comfortable on the bed and began to read. He noticed that on the first page there was handwriting that was different from the rest of the journal. Sasuke wondered if the one who intially gave his father the journal was the one who wrote the words that he was now reading and if that person was his grandmother. The writing seemed feminine and he couldn't imagine his father just hanging on to something that a random female gave to him. He must have cherished her since he had kept her gift to him all these years, and who wouldn't cherish a gift from their mother and the wise words she seemed to be imparting to him and indirectly to Sasuke.
"Sometimes things happen in your life that have you feeling as if there is no reason to go on. Swallowed in the murky waters that is living, not just exsisting. However, no matter how many times a man is crushed by the burdens that is his life you should never give up your hopes and dreams for a brighter tommorrow. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Alot of the time it won't be easy but the harder that you work the more satisfaction you will recieve when you finally do get to see it. Then when the light hits the rest of the darkness that is surrounding you, illuminating those problems and turning them into the little specks that you thought were heavy, your life will began anew."
I didn't write that stuff on the first page and to tell the truth I only partialy believed it. That was because my Aunt Orihime had never lied to me and if she thought that it was true even if I didn't fully trust her words but because it was her I was willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. At the time when she gave me the journal for my birthday my father objected to "His Heir" doing something so undignified as writing his feelings down like a woman. Auntie then told him that one day when I grew up and added to the illustriousness of the Uchiha clan, people would want to know more about the begining orgins of the "Great Fugaku Uchiha" and it would better prepare him for that day. Then father was all for it saying that yes, yes, since his son had his blood flowing in his veins he was predestined, so of course he should be prepared for the accolades. My father of course was easily persuaded by this arguement as he saw my sole purpose in life was to be the perfect heir of the clan, the perfect weapon, and before my usefullness is done make the next perfect generation to follow in my footsteps. My father is a weak pompus windbag with a stick shoved up his ass. He doesn't have the sharigan and hopes that it will manifest itself in me to show the village the strength of the Uchiha clan once again. Since all Hyugas are born with the ability to see through things and see chakra points even the weakest ones, but only a select few Uchihas have had the sharigan and only two have had the advanced form the mangekyo sharigan.
Sasuke paused in his reading shocked by the disrespectful things his father was saying about his grandfather. Since his father had always talked about respecting his ancestors sacrifices and things like that you would have assumed that he included his own parent. It was interesting to see a different aspect of his father that he would never had imagined. Even though it was a mild deviation, Sasuke was not sure if he was ready for more revelations that seemed to contridict the things that the father he knew his whole life had told him as opposed to what seemed to be what his father was really thinking. Had his father always been like that saying one thing while thinking and meaning another.
If what he was reading was in fact the true then why did his father act as he did when dealing with Itachi and to a certain extent Sasuke, if he felt that the way that his father had treated him made him resent him. Why did his father raise and treat them like his father did to him if he thought it was so horrible. What happened to make his father to make him change from an emotional human being to the exact replica of someone he despised. Perhaps he later found out that what his father said was the truth and changed or had something else turned him into the cold hard man that Sasuke knew and respected. Intrigued by what was revealed about the relationship between his father and grandfather, and the mystery of the "changed" Fugaku, Sasuke started reading again.
Auntie was the one who I was closest to even though my father made such a big deal about "His Heir", but that had more to to with the fact that I was his heir not because I was Fugaku. Aunt Orihime was the one to take care of me since the day I was born. My mother is the perfect matriach for the Uchiha clan with her beautiful pale skin, dark brown hair, and black betwitching eyes that held nothing but distain. Her birth had been a conspiracy among those of the main house in order to insure that the next heir to the Uchiha clan would have a better chance at obtaining the sharigan, and hopefully the mangekyo sharigan. The idea had been conceived with the hope that only those with a close kinship to the main house would insure that the sharigan would appear. Moreover the theory was that if there was a relationship between close relations then the chances would double. In the birth records my mother was my father's first cousin from the union of his sister and brother-in-law. She how is actuality my father's half sister born from an incestrious relations between my grandfather and his eldest daughter, whom I told lived with him until she died on a mission. My mother has always been a little unstable but that was behind closed doors as it should. She was dedicated to two things my father and the pride of being a true "pure" Uchiha. My mother was not one for helping or even wanting the "heir" near her if she could help it and thought it unreasonable that she had to give birth and then deal with the screaming afterbirth (me) as well. She demanded that i be removed from the house until I was a "proper" person. So I was given over to the care of Auntie until I was three years old. I was then allowed back into the house so that I could began my ninja training. I remember how sad I was to be returning to the house of my parents and how different the feelings that it and Auntie'splace invoked. It seemed to have a cold that reached into your bones making you feel stiff and frozen even if there was a fire burning. Auntie's place always seemed so bright and alive with colors and warmth that seemed to invigorate you making you think that anything was possible, but maybe that was because of her. Even after I moved out she was always there for me. To listen to me complain, to counsel, and sometimes to even cry with and not because I was the all impportant "Uchiha heir", but because I was Fugaku her "dark knight". She never treated me any different then she would anyone else and I loved and treasured her for that. She was both my mother and my father, caring enough to discipline me (and I have the smack marks and scars to prove it) and even though she had the smallest house of the clan, to me it was always the best and where my fondest memories reside.
Sasuke now not only knew who had given his father the journals but more importantly how twisted a family history he had and that was before Itachi had murdered everyone. Although legally in Konoha the law stated that one could marry a family memember they had to have no parents in common and relations between parent and child were strictly forbidden. The thought that his great-grandfather was having sex with his aunt and that his grandmother and grandfather were actually brother and sister was repulsive to Sasuke and he had to stop in order to digest this disturbing piece of news. Shaking his head Sasuke pondered if the reason his brother was insane was because of inbreding. He wondered if creating the perfect heir was worth the lives of the entire clan because that is what it cost for them to have the bragging rights of having a born "genius" like Itachi.
