Mouth-To-Mouth

Hello, my dear readers. I'm still hyper because I dug into a lot of sugar today. o-o
Plus, I've just watched Austin Powers in Goldmember and got the Hard Knock Life rap
by Dr. Evil and Mini Me on my MP3 player and I've been listening to it ALL DAY. 0_<
"Put that in your blunt and smoke it!" XD! So, um. I'm gonna make this chapter longer
than the others. It's Labor Day weekend. FOUR DAYS OFF FOR MEH! SQUEEEE! Which means
I'm seriously pumped and ready for teh story! OKAY! HERE YOU GO!

Chapter 5


Sasuke walked through the streets of Konoha. Today was a good day. Sakura was nowhere to
be found and he finally had the day to spend with his precious dobe. But, that was one problem.
He couldn't find the blonde anywhere. He'd gotten up early and went over to Naruto's apartment
to find that it was empty. SO, he went to the training grounds. No luck there, either. He wasn't
even at Ichiraku's. He was starting to worry.

"Where is that idiot?"

He stopped and put one hand on his side and looked around. Today was the day that he was
going to spoil Naruto. Buy him anything he wanted. He just felt like doing that today, felt
like Naruto deserved it, too. But now, he wasn't anywhere in sight. Sasuke sighed and kept
walking, determined to find his dobe.


Naruto's eye twitched. The sight before him scared him and flattered him at the same time.
There, standing in front of him, was Konohamaru in the exact same clothes Naruto had on.
Only smaller.

"Well, well? Aren't they cool? Does it look good? Huh, huh?"

Naruto scratched the back of his head.

"Just...why did you dress like me this morning, and, where did you get these clothes?"

Konohamaru smirked and turned around. "I dress how I wanna dress and I refuse to tell
you the source of which this outfit came from." Naruto rolled his eyes. His little
rival was annoying him to no end. He had woken up early this morning to go train when
this little ball of sunshine stepped in and dragged him everywhere. Now he had to go home and
find him again with this? He sighed. "Are you mad at me?" Konohamaru blinked and shook his
head. "Why would I be mad at you? Huh?" Naruto saw the hurt expression and shook his head.
"Well, why'd you drag me around all day? I had plans, is all, and you pretty much just
took the planner and through it out." Konohamaru pouted and crossed his arms over his
chest. "What? I just wanted to spend time with you. Is that a problem?" Naruto raised his
hands defensively. "No! No, of course not." Naruto sighed again.

Sasuke leaned against the wall of Ichiraku's. He had come back here to search again and
still no sign of Naruto. It had to be around one in the afternoon, now. Sasuke was pissed.
All his plans were just thrown out the window. At least, that's what it felt like. He still
had plenty of time, but his legs were sore and it was rediculously hot today. He wiped
his forehead and looked from side to side. It was then he finally spotted his dobe. He
was currently being tugged by his sleeve by Konohamaru. Sasuke glared and walked towards
the two.

Sasuke stepped in front of Naruto's little rival and Konohamaru bumped into him. Naruto
seemed to have looked relieved when he saw the Uchiha. Sasuke looked down on Konohamaru
and shook his head.

"What're you doing?"

Konohamaru quickly stood and dusted himself off. "Me and Naruto-niichan were just headed
towards Ichiraku's for a nice, big bowl of ramen." Sasuke looked to Naruto, who looked
like he was hot, tired, and depressed. Naruto mouthed the words "Help me" to Sasuke. The
raven sighed. "Look, kid...Um, Naruto... has some really important..uh..NINJA stuff to do."
"Ooh! Like a mission?" Sasuke nodded, and the boy turned around to face the blonde. "If ya
HAD a mission, ya should've told me! Instead of complaining all this time." The boy released
Naruto's sleeve and, before he left, he gently slapped Naruto's arm. Then he waved and ran
down the path home. Naruto bit his lip and shook his head. "He's cute, but dangerous." Sasuke
smirked and shrugged. "Well, he IS just like you." Naruto blushed. "So, I'm cute?" Sasuke
nodded. "...And dangerous. Well, loud would describe you better." Naruto's blush faded
and he pouted. "Hey!"

"Okay. What do you wanna do?"

Naruto shrugged. He wasn't used to this. Being spoiled, getting anything he wanted. Sure, he
was happy. I mean, hello! But, he just didn't know what to do. He was pretty happy the way
he was. Sure, there were some things he...wouldn't mind having, but they just didn't seem
to pop up in his mind right now. Sasuke was willing to spend any amount of money for him.
Even if it meant selling the clothes off his back. So, he looked back to Naruto with a
questioning look. Naruto only shrugged again.

"I really don't know."

Sasuke blinked slowly. "There's nothing you want? Don't you have a list or something? I mean,
even I have a wish list." Naruto shook his head and smiled. "Nope." Sasuke thought Naruto
must be one the least greedy person the world has seen. He sighed and looked around. He then
spotted a fortune-telling booth. "AH, you ever tried one of those?" He pointed to the small,
purple stand. Naruto shook his head. "I've always thought those were kinda stupid." Sasuke rolled
his eyes and grabbed Naruto's wrist. And he thought he was boring.

Sasuke made Naruto sit down in front of the surprisingly young woman. "Sasuke, this is
so stupid..." Sasuke pulled at one of the blonde spikes. "Ow!" Naruto swatted his hand away.
"It'll be fun. Geez, and you call ME the downer." Naruto pouted and looked back at the
woman.

"What'll it be? Fortune? Career? Love?"

She said the last option with deep feeling. Naruto blushed and glanced back at Sasuke. He
only nodded towards the woman. Naruto sighed. "Love." Sasuke arched a brow. 'This should
be interesting...' The woman told Naruto to let her see his palm. He reached his hand over
the counter and she grabbed it, looking over his palm. Naruto was blushing slightly. "Ah."
SHe blushed light pink and looked between the two. Naruto blinked along with Sasuke. "Wha-what?"
She smiled. "It seems that you will have a very good relationship with someone who is very
much different from you, but there are key subjects that relate to you deep with in that
person. It also says that in this relationship, there will be some hardships and times
that'll make you both feel like giving up and throwing in the towel, but it would be wise
not to give up what you two share. Because, if you do..." Naruto leaned forward. So did
Sasuke. "...you will find that you both will be lost without eachother, that you need eachother
to survive or feel happiness."

Naruto blushed deep crimson and looked at Sasuke over his shoulder. Sasuke had his eyes closed,
deep in thought. Naruto pouted and shook his head. He quickly pulled back his hand. "That's
so stupid! What a fake!" Sasuke gritted his teeth and whacked Naruto on the head. "Dobe."
The young woman only smiled knowingly, and leaned back. Sasuke put the money they owed her
on the stand and they both left. She smiled at their backs.

The two had made it to Naruto's apartment. Naruto was now holding one of the largest
stuffed animals in the world, which was a giant panda bear, roses, and pictures that
they had taken together. Not to mention he was full because Sasuke had taken him out to
dinner. It all felt like he was on one, huge date, which he was sure was what Sasuke
had wanted it to be. Naruto stepped in front of his door and smiled at the Uchiha.

"Thanks. This was acctually fun. Also, thanks for saving me from Konohamaru and buying
me this stuff..."

Naruto blushed and looked down. It felt nice having these things from Sasuke, and the
fortune from the booth from earlier was still in his head, completely memorized. Sasuke
smirked and stepped forward. He kissed Naruto's cheek, said bye, and headed home. Naruto
blinked and watched Sasuke head down the stairs. Once Sasuke was out of sight, he fell
back against his door. He looked up at the ceiling and sighed. "Hm..." He blinked up to
the ceiling and closed his eyes breifly, then unlocked the door to his home and stepped in,
shutting the door quietly. He put the roses in the closest thing to a vase he had and set
the large stuffed bear on the sofa. He flipped on the radio and plopped down the bed. It was
probibly around 8 or 9. He was already falling asleep to the song. His eyelids were growing
heavy and he finally let them fall shut and listened to the last words of the song he heard.

And I want to thank you
For giving me the best day

And Oh, just to be with you
Is giving m the best day
Of my life...

Naruto had fallen asleep.

Sasuke fell back on his bed and tucked his arms behind his head. He had spent a lot of
money today. A lot... But, he felt good about it. It was on someone he cared about. He
was wondering what Naruto was doing right now. His guess was that he was asleep. He was
pretty sleepy, himself. The day, after all, was long and his legs were still sore. He
reached into his pocket and looked at the pictures of the two together. The first had Sasuke
looking like he always did and Naruto had his arm around his shoulder smiling. The second
had Sasuke with a smirk and Naruto had given him the old "bunny ears." The last is what
got him to smile. Naruto had gotten behind him and rested heis chin on the top of his
head (which completely ruined Sasuke's hair) and used both of his index fingers to stretch
Sasuke's cheeks into a smile, while Sasuke had one eyebrow arched. Sasuke set the pictures
on the nightstand next to his bed and turned the lights off, leaving the room coated in
silent darkness.

Sasuke closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.

A/N: WTF?! I can't write a long chapter unless there is smut in it?! Argh! Anyways, there
was plenty of WAFF, right? Of course. Um, the song that was used near the end is "Thank You"
by Dido, if you guys wanted to know. I know I sometimes read a fic and if there is a song
in it, I go to look it up. XD I thought that it seemed to fit the chapter. X3 Anyways, wasn't
