You win
I swatted some hair out of my face. "Nii-san, are you really leaving so soon?" I asked looking up at Itachi, whom was sitting in a leafy, green tree.
"I'm afraid so." Itachi glanced at me. "The ANBU have to move quickly to get to Suna on time." He informed.
"Okay, but I just got out of school, I wish they would at least let you stay a while." I complained pacing.
"Don't act like your going to be all alone." Itachi reprimanded. "You'll have that blonde boy you always talk to." Itachi jumped from the tree.
"Oh, so you know about Naruto..." I trailed off. I wasn't suppose to be around Naruto, because my parents thought he was a trouble maker.
"Yes, I've seen you two together." Itachi smiled looking at me. "I've also met him while in the village. He's really a charming young boy." And with that Itachi left me.
I sighed. Speaking of the blonde, I was suppose to meet him soon. I took off, sprinting down the path to the pier.
I looked around and saw he was already there.
"Hiya, Sasuke-Kun!" The boy waved cheerily at me.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Naruto threw shurikan at his targets once more.
His aim was always off ever so slightly from the fatal spots on the target dummy.
He sighed and got out a few more.
He quickly turned around when he sensed a familiar chakra signature. "Hi Sakura-chan!" He beamed at the rosette kunoichi.
"Oh, Hi Naruto." Sakura smiled and looked around.
"What're you doing here?" Naruto asked pocketing his shurikan bag into the pouch.
"Oh, I was just going to practice my aim, but it seems that the practice doll is in use." She smiled prettily.
"Oh," Naruto said glancing back at the strung doll. "You can use it Sakura-chan." He said and pulled out his shurikan.
"Thanks, Naruto." She smiled and got out her own shurikan and carefully aimed before shooting.
Naruto stood a few feet back and watched her throw. The shurikan where off at least two inches from even a semi-fatal shot.
Naruto and Sakura both turned at the sense of another familiar signature.
"Hi Sasuke-Kun!" Sakura waved and blushed.
"Hi, Sasuke-Teme." Naruto grumbled watching the raven aproach.
Sasuke was stoic and silent.
"Naruto!" Sakura yelled. "Don't call people names!" She reprimanded turning and glaring half-heartedly at Naruto, knowing that he'd just do it again tommorro, if he even waited that long...
"Sorry, Sakura." Naruto blushed and lowered his eyes to his feet.
"Oi, was there a meeting I forgot to come to?" Nobody had noticed thier sensei's signature approaching.
"No, sensei." Sakura said, Turning to face the grey haired ninja.
"Okay, good," Kakashi's visible eye curved up to show he was smiling. "Could you guys leave then?"
"What?" They all asked in unison.
"I'm meeting someone." Kakahsi said jumping into the nearest tree.
Sakura and Naruto walked away grumbling, while Sasuke just walked away.
"I think i'm going to get a bite to eat." Naruto said when he saw the Ichiraku ramen stand.
At the mention of food Sakura's stomach growled. "Good idea, I think i'll come, too." Sakura rubbed her stomach looking ahead at the stand.
Sasuke looked up at the stand. "Hn." He nodded, this being a gesture that he hadn't ate since dinner the night before.
All three teammates took a seat beside eachother the arrangement being Naruto, Sakura, then Sasuke. Each ordered the same thing and began eating.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I smiled at Naruto and sat down beside him at the pier. "How are you?" I asked looking into his lit up blue orbs.
"A little bored." The blonde sighed at looked out at the lake. "You?" He asked amiling and turning back to me.
"Eh, so-so." I replied and leaned back on my palms. "My brother is leaving for an ANBU mission today." I looked at the sky.
"But you just got out of school for break three days ago!" Naruto said indignantly.
"That's what I said." I turned toward him.
He gigled cutely and smiled brightly. "Great minds think alike."
I looked at him a small smile gracing my features.
"Erm, Sasuke-kun..." Naruto looked at his feet for a second and then pulled something out of the messenger bag he'd been carying.
I cocked my head to the side and looked at him.
"I heard some girls say it was your birthday..." He held out a brightly colored box with a blue ribbon.
I looked at him and took the box, and I probly imagined it, but I think he blushed for a split second. "Thanks." I said before untying the bow and opening the box.
"It's probly not as good as what the other people in the village got you..." He trailed off looking at his shoes.
Inside the box was a shurikan about half the size of a normal one and ingraved upon it was my name and a perfectly engraved Uchiha emblem.
"It's for a necklace...or something." He said keeping his eye on the water beneath him.
I looked around quickly before hugging the smaller boy. "It's pretty." I whispered quickly before releasing him.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Naruto slurped down his ramen. He swallowed it. "So do you like ramen Sakura-chan?" He asked looking at her.
"It's okay." She said daintily eating hers.
Sasuke was eating his about the same way as Sakura was, but a little quicker, but not to Naruto's speed, of course.
Sakura finished her bowl as Naruto ordered his second. "Oh, it's that late already?" Sakura said to herself looking at the clock that said it was now five p.m. She put some money down and said goodbye to Sasuke and Naruto.
Sasuke, who'd been finished stood up. "I'm going back to the training ground." He started walking back torward the forest.
Naruto finished and looked up. "Wanna spar?" He asked putting down money and following Sasuke.
Sasuke shrugged and continued forward.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I must have hallucinated again, because he looked flushed again.
"Your welcome, Sasuke-kun." He smiled, showing all his teeth.
"Hey, Naruto," I said putting the shurikan charm back into the box so I wouldn't lose it. "Could you not call me "Sasuke-kun", please, It sound so feminine..." I said smiling a little.
"Sure thing, Sasuke-chaaaaaaaan" The blonde boy jumped up and stuck his tongue out.
"Oh, you little idiot!" I yelled a got up and chased the little blonde all around the pier.
About three minutes later we were back on the peir and i'd caught him and was now sitting on top of him while he stuggled to get me off. "Say uncle." I chanted.
"Never!" He cried out stubbornly and tried to flip me off, but it failed.
"Say it." I poked his head.
"No." He wriggled underneath.
"You better say it, or you're going to be trapped."
"Alright! Alright!" He said defeated. "Uncle."
"Aha! Victory is mine!" I stood up and wiped the dust off my shorts.
He stuck out his tongue. "Only this once!" He held up his index fingure emphasizing "once"
