Chiinu gritted his teeth as the foliage passed by in a blur. They had finally located Kain, but as they were about to give chase they had been discover by a group of the enemy. He now propelled himself forward from branch to branch in chase of the leader, but he was alone. Hiroshi had been surrounded by the three shinobi upon their discovery. Quickly analyzing them with his Sharingan, Chiinu deducted that they were not up to Hiroshi’s level, the rat would be fine.

Any doubt he had about leaving the man to his own devices was tossed away when Hiroshi crouched into a defensive stance and whispered, “Go.”

Chiinu allowed himself a small smirk as he continued to run down his prey, maybe Hiroshi was finally coming around. He never denied that Hiroshi was an excellent shinobi and if he didn't have to be on guard anymore, they could work great together.

Without warning the sky opened up and interrupted his revery, torrents of rain flooded his vision and he was forced to slow his pursuit. This could not be a coincidence, he grimaced as he glared at the thick blanket of water before his face. The skies above had been perfectly clear with no indication of a storm, but how could anyone control the weather? This had not been in the report. Chiinu sensed the target stop and slowed to an even more cautious pace.

Kain stood in the middle of the clearing with the rain washing over his body. He didn’t know how these lapdogs of the demons had found them, but they had another thing coming if they thought he was going to be easy to dispose of. He only felt one chakra signature following after him when he separated from the camp. It was strong but not to the level he had acquired under his departed sensei.

The signature came closer and he smiled when it stopped on a branch hidden by the sheets of rain. No one stood a chance when he was in his element, and he knew it. After pulling a kunai from him pouch, his hands flew through the signs and he murmured, “Raidasu.” He tossed the kunai and a lighting bolt followed, cutting through the tree limb the unsuspecting ANBU was positioned on. He watched as the ANBU jumped from the falling limb and tossed a hand full of shuriken blindly in his direction. Kain dodged the weapons easily and shook his head at how the rain could turn the most competent enemies into blind fools.

Kain flenched at the sudden energy. Quickly grabbing a kunai, he turned in time to parry the enemy’s own kunai as he suddenly appeared behind him. Kain scowled as his arms strained to keep the kunai from getting closer, apparently the ANBU wasn’t as blind in the rain as he supposed him to be. Eyes widening, he caught a glimpse of red eyes behind the blood red mask. An Uchiha? He thought there weren’t any Uchiha’s left in the shinobi ranks. He growled at the thought as he pushed hard against the crossed kunai and jumped backwards, it would seems that his research of Konoha wasn’t as thorough as he believed. Flipping backward, he avoid the shower of shuriken that landed where he had been just a second before. The red-masked man darted toward him and he crouched low to prepare himself for the frontal attack. Uchiha or no Uchiha, this man’s chakra levels weren’t too impressive and no one was going to stop him now.

‘Shit,’ Kain mentally cursed as the approaching man flickered out of view. The chakra reappeared behind him and he used his high speed to spin and roundhouse before the attack could come. The ANBU quickly dropped to the ground, dodging his leg, and snake kicked him on his ass, sending him tumbling forward. Quickly rolling to a standing position, Kain cursed again. He sure was a quick little bastard. If he was going to win this fight he was going to have to use that jutsu.

Hands flying once more, he saw the ANBU stiffen and look up as the clouds compressed and the rain drew in until it was only concentrated directly on the ANBU. He formed the last sign and smiled when the ANBU scoffed before resuming a fighting stance, it appeared he thought he was only getting a little wet. The ANBU reached for his katana but then stopped and grabbed his head as he began to scream. Kain’s grin widened as he watched the raven’s armor begin to blacken and sizzle as it reacted to the acid rain. He walked closer to the pain writhing man and drew out a kudachi to finish him off. As he drew back the small sword he heard a bone chilling laugh and spun quickly in it’s direction.

Chiinu stepped into the clearing with his katana drawn. “That’s a nice trick, but it wasn’t in the file either, I’m beginning to think Sand’s information is faulty,” he stated as he watched his bunshin flopping on the ground with pain.

Kain looked back and forth between the twin ravens. Not to be stunned for long, he quickly preformed raidastu by tossing one of his kunai at the standing ANBU’s feet. Twin screams permeated the air as the lighting bolt traveled down the ANBU’s sword and encompassed his body. Kain scoffed as he turned back toward the first nuisance, “I don’t know why you dogs have to be so loyal to those evil beings.” The acid rain dropped and he kicked the clone out of existence. The ANBU screamed louder and Kain moved steadily toward him, confident of his victory. “Those damn demons are just taking over our villages, one by one, and you’re helping protect them. Strong shinobi bowing down to the will of demons, it just makes me sick. Thank Kami there are those of use who are willing to fight against them. Even if they kill our leaders and climb to power in their own villages, we will not stop until ever last one of those demons are dead. And every one of their damn lapdogs too,” he said bringing back his kudachi for the kill.

Chiinu looked up with a smirk at the same time he felt his teammates drawing near. As if lighting could harm him, the person who had adapted Chidori again and again to suit his purpose. He saw Kain’s eyes widen a fraction with understanding as he raised kusanagi. The lighting wrapped around his sword as he swung it toward the surprised shinobi. The lighting blade passed through Kain’s body before he could move, cauterizing as it cut and leaving no blood as the two halves fell to the ground.

Hiroshi cursed his rotten luck as he watched Chiinu’s lighting enhanced blade rushed toward the rain-nin. He had hoped when he stood behind, that Kain would do the job for him. He had then planed to finish off Kain and return to Konoha as the victor. He had designed not to get his hands dirty in disposing of the traitor, but if there was ever an opportunity to get rid of the Uchiha this was it. He hopped down lightly from the tree and dropped several kunai. “Soushuuha,” he mumbled as they floated back up to hover in the air. He smiled gleefully as he guided them in the direction of the unaware raven.
------------

“I did it!” Tsunade yelled as she burst into the Hokage’s office. Naruto picked his head up off the desk as the Godaime’s loud cry jolted out of his sleep. Looking up, he used the back of his hand to wipe the drool from the corner of his mouth. Tsunade smiled down widely at him. “I thought you said you weren’t going to be a lazy Hokage like me,” she jibed.

Naruto scowled at the other blonde, smoothing his rumbled robes and straightening the hat upon his head. “I haven’t been getting much sleep lately,” he groused.

“Well, this is going to cheer you up,” she proclaimed, shoving a furry white creature into his face.

“Wha...”

“I did it, he’s pregnant. And look,” she proclaimed happily, lifting the creatures tail and bringing it closer to the Hokage’s nose.

Naruto sputtered indignantly and leaned further back into his chair. “Why are you shoving that rat’s balls into my face?!” he bellowed loudly.

“Because he still has them,” she sighed as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. “All the other specimens lost theirs.”

“You mean... You mean you actually turned the others into girls?” he asked worried and swallowing past his, suddenly, very tight throat.

“Yes, but this one remained male and I still got him pregnant,” she beamed.

Naruto sighed uneasily as he rubbed the back of his head. Good thing that kink was worked out, Sasuke would have killed him for sure.

Tsunade smiled, quite pleased with herself, as she sat down in one of the chairs. “Now you can start talking to the council about taking a second wife. I’ll present the information on Sakura’s condition and you can convince them that you’re not willing to divorce her. Once we get your little Uchiha pregnant you can present your choice.” Tsunade smiled to herself at the loop the council was about to be thrown for. “Now where is he? I need a semen sample to customize the serum for him.”

Naruto growled as his hands demolished any papers they were touching. “He’s still in Suna. It’s been two months! I’m going to kill Gaara,” he growled threateningly.

“Two months? Have you received any status reports?” she asked slightly anxious.

“No. Whatever the problem was, Gaara asked me to stop all traffic and communication between Konoha and Suna until the team returned,” he complained, releasing the paper and running his hands through his messy hair.

“So what are you going to do Gaki?” she asked as he looked up confused. “You plan for that brat to bear you children, I know you’re not going to just sit here and wonder if he’s okay.”

Naruto crossed his arms over his chest and huffed. “I’m not some impulsive kid anymore, Baa-chan. I have a hidden village to run. Anyway, Sasuke can take care of himself.”

“Okay, okay,” she said standing from her chair. She walked to the door, then turned and pointed using the poor rat. “As soon as he get back I will need that sample. I’ll see you later,” she smirked as she went out the door.”

Naruto chewed his bottom lip and tightened his arms across his chest. What if something did happen to Sasuke? Gaara never gave any indication that the mission would take this long. But to get no information, the entire team would had to have disappeared. Surely Gaara would have sent something if his whole team wasn’t returning. He rose from the desk and began to pace the room. If Gaara didn’t want any traffic between the two villages the problem must lie amidst the trail. So how was he going to find out what happened without letting anyone travel between the villages?

Naruto slapped his head and said, “Hiraishin no Jutsu!” How could he have forgotten that? One of the first things he had done when he became the Hokage was to have several clones read every scroll in the Hokage Tower. Now, he knew that sounded a little “Orochimaru-ish” but the Third was know as “The Professor” for knowing so many jutsu. And it wasn’t as if he was learning them by any ill gotten means, all those scrolls were property of the Hokage, which he was. He had been stoked when he discovered his father, the Yondaime, had recored his famous instant transporting technique. Gaara better still be wearing the pouch he gave him with the shiki marked on it, he had informed him it was a way he could come to his aide if needs be.

Now for the office. He shouldn’t be gone long but... “Kage bunshin no jutsu.” One perfect clone appeared before the blonde. “I need you to sit behind the desk and be me. If I’m gone past six, go home and go straight to bed. Do not sleep with my wife,” he poked a finger into the clone’s chest to emphasize his point.

The other blonde grinned goofily and saluted the original, “Right boss.” Turning quickly, he jumped over the desk and landed in the chair still smiling widely.

Naruto shook his head as he circled the room, placing items in his pouch that might come in handy. What was it, he was in a bad mood so his clone came out being the most chipper thing on the planet? Maybe they were always like that and he only noticed now because he was in such a rotten mood. Deeming himself ready, he put his hand to together and uttered, “Hiraishin no Justsu.”

---------------------------

Gaara shook his head at the sight before him. Yuzuki and Torikkusuta were approaching slowly, dragging a litter. The body resting on the litter was covered by a sheet and the pale hand that hung out the side was leaving a trail in the sand as it was dragging limply on the ground. Gaara sighed, he had just started liking that guy. It was clear this plot was already much deeper than they feared. The killer was one of there own, and to kill the Captain. The Kazekage was really dumbfounded by the whole situation.

“Noooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Gaara heard the heart wrenching scream before he felt the chakra signature. He spun around quickly to see his distraught friend gripping his blonde hair with both hands as the wail continued to stream from his mouth. The sound finally ended and he fell down to his knees in despair. ‘When did Naruto get here?’ Gaara thought shocked as he watched the blonde shake his head viciously back and forth as he denied the sight before him.

Very evil, yes?
You will not find Raidasu in any of the books. I needed a summoning lighting justu, so I made one up.
